ooo can I ask for more in depth about Tartarus Ortho?? Theres just something about the overblots that make me so giddy. Maybe I am a monster fucker /j.😨😨

Sure! (Don't worry, the overblots get me giddy too)

The way I think of Tartarus Ortho is as a combination of the Ortho who lured Idia and robot Ortho, the literal phantom, and, way less prominent, the Ortho who originally turned into the other two. Also! bits of the phantoms' personalities that Ortho absorbed tend to slip in.

(I do have OSDD so this is heavily based on me projecting)

Essentially, the Ortho who lured Idia and robot Ortho is a corrupted version of the third one I mentioned before. He's been in a form of overblot since a few days after getting down there when his curse first started absorbing the phantoms. Since he was already in the underworld/phantom containment he's unable to do anything but continue to be more corrupted. He is still able to feel pain but nothing else like guilt, hence why he reached out to Idia and robot Ortho in the first place.

The phantom is pretty similar to other phantoms except he's a little bit more chill because he feels guilty about absorbing/killing his friends. The story (eng version) describes him as gigantic compared to any other phantom but doesn't give an exact anything so I headcanon him being somewhere between 40-60 feet (12.19-18.28 m) tall and default to 50 (15.24 m). He is the one most in control while just passively living in Tartarus and is very lonely because the other phantoms avoid him.

The phantoms themselves tend to have individual personalities and are generally terrified of any sort of change. They can get violent, but being trapped for so many centuries made most of the phantoms act like phantom Ortho; fairly docile and mostly lost. (the exception being Shiny, another of my OCs)

The final Ortho is just the Ortho involved in the incident but where he aged with the years and got severely traumatized. Sometimes phantom Ortho will try to talk to him, but that usually results in Ortho screaming and trying to run away from his own mind. He's the one who talks to Idia at the end of chapter 6 and the one who is mainly a part of post chapter 6 Ortho, though there is a tiny piece of all of them in him.

When Ortho uses "we" he is referring to every bit of Ortho, that being the three main parts of Tartarus Ortho, the phantoms he absorbed, and robot Ortho. That's why he will continue to use we in other asks about him, and also why he doesn't always do it
