At this point in the game Fuuka is becoming the MVP of my party. What do u mean she can scan the enemies' weaknesses so i dont waste time and SP with trial and error? And she can map the entire floor so i dont have to waste time running around?? And her theurgy replenish my SP, HP, and give me buffs randomly at my discretion (aka it's not randomly triggered)??? Also she can give me an escape route in case that fuckass reaper shows up and i havent found the stairs to the next floor yet???? I havent played p4 so idk if their navigator is as useful as Fuuka but damn p3r is the first time im using a nav for utility and not just charming voicelines. Fuuka my beloved you are the gold standard for navigators everywhere

Today was incredibly terrible in real life so imagine my surprise when I got this extremely cursed toy out of the Neopies???? (For those of you who don't go here, that's a good thing. OMG.)

Still thinking about arkham/gotham knight differences. arkham combat widely discourages gadget use during combat. not like. In storymode. I specifically mean in challenges.

Using a gadget in freeflow often risks losing your combo. like yeah you shouldnt lose combo but it can get wonky esp if you arent using a gadget to respond to a specific enemy action (ie batclaw on electrified thug or batarang on charging or object throwing thug). my experience in getting every combat medal/star in all the challenge maps is to NEVER use gadgets (variation bonus is a joke, combo is king). the only exception is lightning/heat gloves in arkham origins which do often make me lose combo but were worth it for doubling each hit. I used combo moves more often than gadgets (specifically non takedown moves to assist with point grinding).

Again this issue in arkham is only fully present in challenges but i find it leaking over to my story gameplay as well, as i focus on higher combo vs gadgets. Tho it isnt as bad in story.

meanwhile. Gotham Knights gadgets are different in that they arent their own menu and are usually connected to the momentum mechanic. but, not always (batgirls friend-hack and enemy hack, robins teleportation takedown + stringing henchmen up, nightwing seamless leaping which i count as gadget because he uses the grapple sort of automatically when you're doing it sometimes iirc. cant think of any for jason). But. The gotham knights lack of a combo counter makes it easier to flow, dodge, and not constantly responding to or attacking thugs. You can find pauses in combat to reasses or reposition. While also being able to use abilities within combat seamlessly too.

Also ranged weapons are more useful in gotham knights so thats a constant gadget (and smoke bombs and grapple are always there. And traversal).

I like the idea of Bee and Rod being adoptive brothers because of a big decision Optimus made earlier. He was at the top of his career, then took a hiatus due to an injury, and suddenly dropped the news that he was expanding his family, casually. It’s kind of a mystery, really, since he’s not even married… is he?
