For the record I think generative AI is just a tool and as such is morally neutral. It's the way it's used and the purpose it's used for that matters.

#like i use adobe's generative ai for work when i can't find the right stock photo to use #or i'll use generative expand to get existing stock photos to the correct aspect ratio #or i'll use it to quickly visualize a mock-up instead of putting time and effort into something i might not even end up using #it's a handy tool when it's not being used to exploit workers and sap the creativity out of artistic professions #and if it develops to a point where it doesn’t look unsettling i would support it being used to bring fan works to life #my post
