Random WIP Sentence Meme

1.) "I know you're nervous, but it's all right because so am I. We took a big step, a-and now we get to move as slowly as we want for our first time, you know?" BJ dips to kiss him on the lips, gentle and coaxing movements, but Hawk never quite loosens up beneath him, and it flares the spark of uncertainty into a full flame.

2.) BJ takes a deep breath through his nose and releases it slowly as he crosses his arms and watches Peg’s lovely manicured finger tuck under Trapper’s chin. “You ready?” she asks. Trap’s response is only a weak but hungry hum.

3.) He makes it six minutes into the trip before he's bubbling up with no place to put his words. His neighbor across the aisle is an older woman with silver hair and deep laugh lines and he decides that he likes her immediately. "Where to?" he asks. "You going as far as Boston?"

4.) The familiar needling makes something flash through Trapper's gaze. They've circled this before. Trapper had Hawkeye first but BJ had him longer. Hawk made that initial pass at BJ when he was drunk and aching from Trapper's absence, sure, but it was always BJ's name he was moaning. These facts are immutable.

5.) Hawk takes a bow, gesturing inside. "After you, my good sir."

"Oh no, I insist," Trapper simpers in a high, snooty accent.

"Ohoho, a gentleman," Hawk teases. He lays a hand on his chest in reverence as he slips in under Trap's arm. "You gonna pull that with her too?"

Trap drops his voice. "Why, jealous?"

"Please. As if anybody else is ever gonna be your best girl."
