Book One: Of Deep Thunder

Protagonist(s): Phantol (Mountainwings), Taft Tordrunn

Tropes: pirates, military, corruption, fear the sea, it lives in the deep, inconvenient storms, emotional manipulation, bonding, non-human entities, old gods, rotted land, lgbt+,

Taft is a normal man living a normal life, until a woman riddled with holes the size of his fist washes up on his beach. He’s used to corpses— ships fight so often, now, but this is different. Because she’s still breathing.

(That, and the horns and tail are new.)

Book Two: And Old Gods

Protagonist(s): Sephira Overoth, Red

Tropes: shapeshifters, mentor and mentee, it lives in the woods, disease, illness, mercy killing, magical debt, crippling injuries,

Taken as a child, Sephira strives to learn (and survive) under her mentor, Red. They strike a careful balance, living in the cursed lands, until one day, Sephira wanders far too deep.

Book Three: untitled

Protagonists: Phantol, Sephira, The Corpse, Unknown(?)

Tropes: see above, chronic pain, old battles, old enemies, bringing magic back to the land, sacrifice

Later in the game he meets Lady and joins the Devil Mary Cry shop as her partner in fight against the demons. He is originally an Archangel and right hand of the Father of Heavens. After The Great War that resulted with the banishment of Lucifer he earned his place at the right hand of the Supreme Father. Nowdays he is sent to Earth and given the task to secure the peace on earth once more, by eliminating all demons who come to create chaos. He is viewed as a cold blooded killer who shows no mercy to demons instead of words or prayers he prefers cold steel and swift deaths. His second task is to find and protect the High Priestess which bears the sacred catalyst pendant that can close the door between earth and demon world forever.
