7.7.19 OzGeoMuster 2019 - Wollongong
Well day 2 started nice and early with a small group of us “ladies” teaming up to tackle the geo art lighthouse. Claire & I were joined by Paula and Mandy who were our lodge buddies and here from New Zealand 🇳🇿. We had an awesome time and spent most of the day giggling ourselves silly. I found it highly amusing that the first stop of the day was a tree climb and yours truely was voted as the designated tree climber. After a quick boost I scrambled out on the limb to retrieve the cache and perform the signing duties of our little gang.
Back down on terra firma and it was a short drive up the road to the next cache. I unfortunately had the wrong coord’s and probably lost us an hour searching in the wrong location. Whoopsies 🙊 we eventually worked out the puzzle and found the cache. Just down the highway a little bit was a highly favourited cache (The Pheasants Home - GC21ET0) with over 300 fav points so we had to visit, seeing as we were so close. It was pretty great camo being tucked in a traffic sign.
After awhile the group decided to split so we could devide and conquer. We met the ladies back at camp where we once again rugged up and went to the activities hall to enjoy the food truck stalls and the night markets.
Monday morning we were on the road by 10am and on our way home, stopping just to get a few more caches of course! Had such a wonderful time at the event and the organisers did such a wonderful job. Just faultless! It was so lovely to make some friends as well. Really looking forward to next year and the adventures to come!

There’ll be no telling where you have to go, how far you have to walk, and what you’ll find. You’re going to lose sleep solving puzzles and defying mysteries. But you’ll get there eventually. And after you sign the log you’ll be right back, looking for the next one. #geocaching #geocachingadventures #ozgeomuster #lakemacquarie #sydney #sydneyinnerwest #petersham #waverton #wavertoncoalloader #ballsheadreserve #northsydney #gogeocaching @geocaching

#lakemac #lakemacquarie During our stay, while attending #ozgeomuster we heard of a #fantastic #nightcache to get. We planned our dinner nice and early, headed out to #gz in the early #twilight and #grabbed the #clue The #cache had several #waypoints and the area seemed larger than first expected. After a while of #poking around the bush we soon had #cih The area seemed alittle #spooky as it is a #cemetery . (at Cooranbong, New South Wales)

6.7.19 Wollongong - OzGeoMuster 2019
Well after a 2.5 hour drive after work on Friday night we settled into our lodge at Cataract Scout Camp.
Up and at ‘em bright and early Saturday morning. Headed to Mt Kiera to start the geo tour of Wollongong, where we watched a rain storm pass by. After collecting the key word we headed down in to the CBD where we went to one of the two lighthouses then continued north along the coast. All the while stopping at highlights of the area.
Ended the tour at Bald Hill Lookout where we saw some whales in close to the shoreline. Stopped and enjoyed some fish and chips while dodging the hoard of tourists. Also, there was a fun little multi-cache that ended with a tree climb.
Back to the scout camp for a quick clothing change (rugging up) and then headed to the actives hall for trivia. Caught up with some friends and met some new ones even an American or two. Had such a wonderful night!
