Ozzy Osbourne - No More Tears. This is the album that first seduced me into Ozzy’s clutches. It came out when I was in junior high, and someone in my gym class played Mr. Tinkertrain for me. I felt a sense of danger and rebellion by listening to this album, haha (oh how far I’ve come). This is a super record with a lot of classic tracks, and even features co-writing credits for Motörhead’s Lemmy Kilmister.

Ozzy Osbourne - The Ultimate Sin. The yellow/red splatter vinyl is a perfect match for this album!

This is my last Ozzy post, I promise. It’s been a fun journey through the “See You on the Other Side” box set. Thanks for joining me, and apologies for flooding your feeds. . Ozzy might not be the most amazing musician, but he sure did form a huge part of my musical foundation while I was growing up. Between his Black Sabbath albums and his solo work, I’ve listened to his songs thousands and thousands of times. The magic is still there, amazingly. That’s something special. . Big thanks again to Dustin for being so awesome and sending this my way!

Ozzy Osbourne - Black Rain. I remember buying this CD when it came out and listening to it a few times, but I don’t remember a thing about it. Time to revisit.

Ozzy Osbourne - Scream. This came out in 2010, and features Gus G. on guitar and Blasko on bass. Ozzy didn’t release another album for 10 years after this, and I thought this would be his last one before he died. Then I remembered that Ozzy is immortal.

Ozzy Osbourne - Live at Budokan (2xLP). This is a high quality live recording, featuring the lineup from Down to Earth. First time this has been released on vinyl.

Ozzy Osbourne - Flippin’ the B Side. This is one of the hidden gems in the Ozzy box set. It includes a dozen tracks that have appeared on various Ozzy singles during his career (including the Rhoads era), and many of these appear for the first time on vinyl here.

Our march through the Ozzy box set continues. Here’s Ozzmosis, the Ozzy album with the worst cover art. It looks like someone’s “Introduction to Photoshop” class project.

Ozzy Osbourne - Down to Earth. This album has an excellent lineup supporting Ozzy: Zakk Wylde (guitar), Robert Trujillo (pre-Metallica on bass), and Mike Bordin (Faith No More, on drums).

Ozzy Osbourne - No Rest For The Wicked. This is Zakk Wylde’s first appearance on any album, and it’s a great one. Bloodbath in Paradise and Devil’s Daughter are standout tracks for me.
