“Do you remember what you were doing on 9.11” 🖤 . . I feel like now that is a common question that comes up in this day. I found myself comparing the stages of life from that day to this. 2001-2020. Now as so many years have passed you have to think 💭 “there are functioning adults who were not born yet and don’t remember 9.11. Which to me is almost mind boggling. I’m sure this is the same feeling when JFK/MLK died. But I remember all of it. Being a 9th grader sitting in the cafeteria when I heard the news. The way Baltimore and DC changed so drastically in so many ways for a while. How everything form that moment on had changed. I definitely wasn’t standing on fancy rugs living my best life. Nope. I was 13, standing in the cafeteria 🤍. The road less traveled. Today was an amazing day with old friends. I haven't gone 🐇 hunting in many years so I was excited to hit the woods on such a beautifully 🌞 day in February. Two guys had beagles 🐶 which brought back memories of hunting with my father. Miss you dad. We recently made an edition of these children's books for a client. Someone in her family wrote and illustrated it a long time ago and they only had the one homemade copy of it. They got us the scans of the pages, we redid the text layout, edited the images to take out all the smudges and to return them to their original luster and then had the new version reprinted locally. After that, each copy was collated, folded and sewn by hand. Then we had the covers printed locally by @inspired.buffalo and then made all the hard covers and glued the books inside. Each one is signed and numbered. Now this family has new heirlooms to pass down to the next generations...a way to share this great story with their children and grandchildren to come. Jobs like this are the reason we do what we do.
