Saying Sorry Will Never Be Enough

Feeling a bit angsty so I had this idea.

Danny is dating one of the Bats/Birds, and everything is going great, amazing even! They know each other secrets (from powers to everything etc), they have a wonderful place to live (even if its in Gotham), Danny is in college on the way to becoming a space engineer (and he does side jobs for unrestful ghosts), he's actually getting sleep again since leaving Amity Park, gets along with their friends and family (those who Danny or his partner still talk to, up to the writer), there is even talk about marriage and perhaps adoption/kids in the future between Danny and the Bat/Bird he's dating!

Everything is setting up for a good life in his future, something Danny didn't think could have after his accident. He was happy finally, and currently packing up his old apartment because he's moving in with his partner in a few days.

So he felt like his core was being pulled out of him when he opens his apartment door one day receiving a knock to find his parents, who had hadn't seen since they kicked him out of the house after coming clean about being Phantom (their words of anger and denial that their son was 'dead' and now a monster, still hurt)

Sure they didn't attack him or proclaim he's dead but still their last words and anger HURT.

Danny didn't give them a chance to open their mouths, both looking nervous and guilty, before he slams the door close and turns invisible, grabs his phone, and fly's out of his apartment to his partner's place in a panic attack.

His partner, isn't happy.

a concept i might elaborate on is acting a little helpless with some tasks after realizing that caleb really likes it when you rely on him

you're living on your own, so you're capable of handling yourself (much to caleb's dismay — he wants to do everything for you). after noticing him sulking a bit, you half jokingly say "feed me?" while you're at the dinner table, and you could swear caleb's eyes lit up. of course he'll feed you!!

and so, it became a bit of a ritual for him to feed you at least a few bites. he especially likes it when you're sitting between his legs, your back to his chest when watching a movie, and he pops some chips and candy in your mouth while you absentmindedly chew. it makes him feel useful..

i want casual, everyday autism in shows. i want autistic characters who need sensory symmetry, who casually mimic anyone's touch on one side of their bodies on the other (or who have friends who do it for them). i want a friend with flashcards or signals for when their friend loses speech. i want people on video calls and body doubling when they do jobs. i want people having conversations without eye contact. i want excited stimming. i want to see someone getting really excited about the tiniest thing thats related to a safefood or a special interest. i want casual, everyday autism.

I don't remember exactly why I chose the animals I did, except for like..matt cause that's obvious bat because vampire. Only guy I changed from og designs wassss Jon, who all times before was some sort of pug mix to match with tom. They're still both dogs though!

eep so I had this here yesterday but removed it n forgot to re-add because of image format fuckery

i am!! Horrible at shading,not in the technical sense(though I mean probably) but In the sense that I overthink doing anything with my art ever

Why do I mostly only sketch and doodle???well..I want to for one BUT FOR TOO having to color stuff is stressful I'm terrible at deciding what to do with art I get decision paralysis!!

4 2023's redraw it's dry as hell and desaturated AND maybe it sucks a little BUT BUT I do still like shading desaturated, also it took me ages to finish it because I kept psyching myself out about it

Same thing happened for this years!

I finished two of the freaks couldn't tell if I liked them and then didn't touch them for WEEKS...until I saw it in my ibis gallery and was like "..oh wait this is fine actually"

If there's a moral here I can't find it

trust the process maybe??? except like even when stuff turns out bad, trust the process because even if it's bad atleast you'll learn from it..or smth.

Idk have anything to say about the dubious 2019/2020 one uhh...it's cute :3

2021 I was really into flat shading but I fucking HATE flat shading now
