BOTD: American Redstart
Photo: Doug Greenberg
"Warblers in general are often called 'the butterflies of the bird world,' but the Redstart may live up to that nickname more than any other species. This beautiful warbler flits about very actively in the trees, usually holding its wings and tail partly spread, as if to show off their patches of color. At times it feeds more like a flycatcher than a typical warbler, hovering among the foliage and often flying out to grab insects in mid-air."

Toy defense 2 pvp

Toy defense 2 pvp how to#
Toy defense 2 pvp ps2#
The objective of this guide is to precisely classify whirlwind features, provide easy to follow templates on various builds & grade all ww weapons which will enable easy and accurate comparisons among their type.
Toy defense 2 pvp how to#
You bought the game & its your personal choice how to play it. It is not meant to be followed word by word. Whirlwind has always been my favourite skill, I was reluctant at frist with the due to the mana cost & low ed% & never even bothered to try it out, until the fatefullday I found bloodletter in the ruined temple….
Toy defense 2 pvp ps2#
Gradually I learnt the trade & it was just pure pleasure, the hack & slash always makes me come back, I enjoy talking & discussing about the game, PS2 seduces me once in a while with games like mgs,gt but the forum has managed to chain me to the game.To be honest, many a times I had the thought about giving up the guide project & going back to my consoles, besides there is pressure on my studies as I embark on advanced modules, but it was a promise & I had to keep it & I have no intention of leaving the game or forum anytime soon. I bought the game & built my first barb- 6 sword mastery,2 mace mastery, 4bash-10 double swing, I never got past hephasto. On to D2.I got hold of the demo in a p.c magazine & the barb class just took control over me completely. I took the warrior class & beat diablo after dying dozens of deaths to the butcher. I am a long time gaming addict, had the habbit since atari & all through subsequent systems, Diablo classic was the first game I played on my p.c so quite naturally its special *Took me a week to figure out(by accident) that you need to click on monsters to attack them*. This guide is intended to teach all those who need to know the basics, workings, choices, tricks & how amazingly complex yet simple & effective a whirlwind barb is.Ībout Razgriz/rikstaker : Real name Syed, management student. The cut in popularity of whirlwind after the release of 1.10 has less to do with changes with whirlwind itself but more to do with the boosting of all other combat skill with synergies & the death of the eth & mastery bugs which ww had capitalized on,it got by with low ar & less damage earlier. Some even go as far as to compare it with the three letter word which is quite accurate infact-‘The more you do it,the better you get at it”. Whirlwind as put by some in rpgforums is “something which many do wrong but few do right”. Its still manages to be the prime skill of barbs in terms of damage over time & barb’s only real means in general pvp. But whirlwind has steadily grown in complexity all through the patches. “ Whirlwind- ‘a fierce spinning attack that cuts your path through the legions of your enemies’ nerfed fiercely by Blizzard. Some things have gone, some changed & some made a comeback but the thirst for squeezing the max out of it always remains. Whirlwind has come a long way from the days of six emerald pikes to the shael shael eth cbs & now the botds. These are all the words one can think of that often get associated with the skill. Whirlwind- fun, passion, debate, misconceptions, nerfdom.

Patch 3.5 gameplay discussion, part 1
Review & thoughts about the two new dungeons, Baelsar’s Wall and Sohm Al HM, below the cut. All mechanics related, no spoilers (unless you haven’t run them yet and wish to go in blind, which I always recommend).
- First things first, as far as Baelsar’s Wall is concerned: The perfectly timed pack appearances on the “sideways elevator of doom” and the trash reinforcements throughout the dungeon are really, really annoying. The elevator sequence is timed in a way that’s a big “fuck you” to things like Enochian, BotD, Greased Lightning, etc—it was like the battle equivalent of when you’re trying to turn and the cars coming are so evenly spaced you’re stuck at the intersection forever. Related is the reinforcements thing, which started giving me strange flashbacks to SOS Battles in Pokemon Sun where the Zubats would just not stop coming. This is tricky for tanks, and a little scary for DPS who are happily AOE burning away, since the new mobs jump in before the others are dead and usually go right for the DPS (the threat table is established in advance, it seems). Luckily our tank was extremely competent and quick reacting (AND had been there before) so we didn’t take too much damage, but I can foresee this being hard for people until they get used to it.
- I honestly don’t remember the first boss, but that must mean it wasn’t too much trouble. The second one has that delightful Blighted/Dice mechanic which will force people to get out of their tunnel vision, and repeated double-prey which requires the healer to be on top of their shit. Overall a fun fight. Griffin has some challenging mechanics, like that gaze + stun which I found VERY unforgiving; it must have a much quicker cast than gazes usually do, or maybe it has a cut-off point that is far earlier than the hit (a la Ascian Prime’s Universal Manipulation). The damage from the swords is survivable even if you only kill the one in the middle, but if the idea is to take down all of them, that is a serious DPS check.
- Sohm Al is the more fun of the two, overall. There’s a little bit of reinforcement trash appearance but it’s not nearly as irritating as the ones at the Wall. It seemed like the trash packs were easier on the healer as well, as ours was actually able to DPS quite a bit.
- Evil Bulbasaur and Evil Charmander were both pretty fun. I like the telegraphed-but-not-telegraphed mechanics in Charmander; once again, it will get DPS out of their tunnel vision. I got unpleasantly surprised by the tail-swipe attack the first time he did it, but from then on the fire breath and the claw strikes with the giant wind ups were fairly easy to avoid. As our healer observed, it’s a tough fight for melee, since the damn thing is moving around a LOT regardless of what the tank does to control it.
- Speaking of tough for melee, the last boss (Lava Scorpion? Couldn’t figure out a Pokemon counterpart for him) is also making me glad that I can fight at range. I personally LOVE the chaos of this fight, with all the fire and explosions and lava spewing everywhere. As long as people know to kill the Claw adds first, it’s not too hard. I did however get into a bad situation where I was boxed in by lava and one step from being out of cast range. I did not try to Aetherial Manipulation over the lava, but I will next time for science (since it’s a slide and not a tele, I might still take burn damage, but it’s still faster than running through it). That will be a good worst case scenario option, but of course, I’d rather not get stuck in the first place.
I hope to tackle Dun Scaith and/or Zurvan normal tonight (depends on what the FC wants to do, probably), so more gameplay discussion inbound!

BOTD: White-eared Ground Sparrow
Photo: Eric Ellingson
"Strikingly patterned large sparrow, found locally in foothills and highlands of Chiapas and Central America. Favors tropical and subtropical forests, shade-coffee plantations, and brushy edges. Typically on or near the ground in shady understory, where quite timid; often in pairs. Striking head pattern is unlike other species in the region, with big white face spots and yellow neck patch. Populations from Nicaragua south have more black on face and breast."

BOTD: Yellow-rumped Warbler
Photo: Tom Wilberding
"Flashing its trademark yellow rump patch as it flies away, calling check for confirmation, this is one of our best-known warblers. While most of its relatives migrate to the tropics in fall, the Yellow-rump, able to live on berries, commonly remains as far north as New England and Seattle; it is the main winter warbler in North America. Included in this species are two different-looking forms, the eastern 'Myrtle' Warbler and western 'Audubon's' Warbler."

BOTD: Cozumel Vireo
Photo: Dario Taraborelli
"Only on Cozumel Island, Mexico, where no similar species occur. Uncommon; has declined thanks to predation by non-native boa constrictor snakes released on the island. Occurs in scrubby woodland, overgrown fields and thickets. Usually sluggish, like most vireos, and easily overlooked. Readily identified by its ‘cute’ face with a white patch between the eyes and bill; white wingbars; and unique, pinkish-tawny plumage tones."

BOTD: Common Yellowthroat
Photo: Brendan Ryan
"Abundant and well-known, the Common Yellowthroat has succeeded by being a nonconformist. As the only one of our warblers that will nest in open marshes, it is found in practically every reed-bed and patch of cattails from coast to coast. Although it sometimes hides in the marsh, its low rough callnote will reveal its presence. The male often perches atop a tall stalk to rap out his distinctive song, wichity-wichity-wichity."

BOTD: Tropical Mockingbird
Photo: Arley Vargas
"Tropical counterpart to Northern Mockingbird of North America. Common and often conspicuous in open and semi-open lowland tropical areas, perching on roadside wires and bare snags. Lacks the big white wing patches of Northern Mockingbird, and the ranges of the two species do not really overlap. Varied calls and loud mimic song is much like Northern Mockingbird."

BOTD: Red-cockaded Woodpecker
Photo: Joseph Aubert
"Once fairly common in the southeastern United States, this bird is now rare, local, and considered an endangered species. It requires precise conditions within mature pine forest, a habitat that is now scarce. Lives in isolated clans, each clan an extended family group, with one pair of adults assisted in their nesting by up to four additional birds. The red cockade for which the bird is named, a small patch of feathers behind the eye of the male, is usually hard to see in the field."

BOTD: White-crowned Parrot
Photo: Dean Thompson
"Medium-size, blue-green parrot of tropical lowlands, mainly in humid forest and forest edge. The big white crown patch and white throat on a bluish head are distinctive; also note the pinkish-red patch under the tail. Often occurs in small flocks, sometimes flying high overhead. Flight style distinctive, with very deep wingbeats, unlike the quicker, shallower wingbeats of White-fronted and Red-lored Parrots, which often occur in same areas."
