Hi! This is my first time using Tumblr, sorry if I mess up a bit with this.. but I had a question!

What’s your take on LangPearl? I’ve read your work before and the differences seem like they’d be cool in your AUs (You have so many..) In my opinion, I think Langley and Pearl would be the type of pairing to bicker like an old couple but still be freaks in bed with each other, and simultaneously deny being in love

I love LangPearl! (PearLey?). I remember reading a smut fic of them on Ao3 and all I can think about is OLD WOMEN YURI!!! 🩷

I believe Lady Pearl’s event is rerunning right now too, so this is the perfect time to answer this ask. Langley and Pearl feel like they’d be old ladies who sleep with each other once in a blue moon, only because Langley needs someone experienced from time to time and Pearl enjoys the “character” that Langley is when she lets down her walls. The image of Pearl smoking her pipe as she lays naked in Langley’s bed, while Langley is buttoning up her shirt and ready to go back to work is sososo hot 😖

But imagine adding Reader into the mix somehow? Reader who is just a naive, doe-eyed sinner/worker at the Bureau who gets roped into the LangPearl coupling. Maybe Pearl drops your name casually after a rough night with Langley, taking a hit of her pipe and reminiscing about how cute you are flocking around the Bureau wanting a flick of praise from your superiors like a dog. Pearl has seen the way Langley eyes you, and she teases her despite Langley’s annoyance.

“Y’know…if you’re not going to make a move on her, I will,” Pearl hums, her voice carrying a melodic tune. “She’ll be my next best star after Luvia Ray.”

That seems to tick something in Langley’s chest and she finds herself scowling. The owner of Fortuna’s theatre could be such an annoyance to her, but Langley always finds her back in her own bed, she just can’t help it.

Who knows, after this brief moment of bringing you up, Langley will find herself with two girls in her bed. The accusations of her sleeping with Pearl were hard enough to deny, but imagine how difficult it would be for her to keep two women a secret 🤭

Mo'omomi Preserve

Flashback: Yesterday I was at Mo'omomi. I just wondered why there is a pavillon and why it is called recreation center. That part of the beach was … just a beach … as red and stony than many others here on the island.

This morning I looked a bit around in the internet and found that Mo'omomi ... ... means pearleyed lizard .... ... and is a Nature Conservancy preserve …. ... and an important nesting place for the green sea turtles.
