I have too many favourite characters but rn I feel like rambling about Pebbles so Pebbles it is >:)

Not sure when I started liking him.. I think it was when Downpour was announced. That trailer was my recall LOL 🙏🙏

He’s just such a tragic character..

Doomed from the very beginning of his creation, brought into an endless cycle that none of his kind can leave. Five Pebbles’ very existence was criticized by his own creators, yet he still tried his best to help them look for an answer to a problem that will just never be solved.

He is resolute and ambitious, both admirable qualities, but at the same time he’s young, he’s inexperienced, and acts irrationally, causing his ambitions to be struck down by his own misguided actions.

Then there’s the Rot. Not only did it cause his own downfall, but it brought down Looks to the Moon too. He had to deal with the fact that his systems were breaking apart AND the fact that he did the same to the person he considers his sister. For that entire time he was guilty and alone, but his cynicism prevented him from ever facing his mistakes and seeking help from the people who cared about him, until it was too late.

And in the end, he still did what he could to help Moon, and gave her his power cell which was..

In case you couldn’t tell, I love this robot. He needs a big hug.
