I wonder if siren!Dream can make a similar sound to dialup internet :3
ALSO! I really like this drawing cause I drew little indicators for his nictitating eye membranes. They’re on the inside corners of his eyes!

April 1960: John and Paul record a band practice on a Grundig reel-to-reel recorder at the McCartney home. Contributors are in dispute but are thought to include at least Stuart Sutcliffe on bass. The tape of this practice ends up in Astrid Kirchherr's possession and may have been a practice tape for Stuart as he was learning bass. It’s later released as part of a bootleg, The Braun-Kirchherr Tapes.

I've been watching a video by a music teacher reacting to the ultrakill soundtrack and yeah it's 5.5 hours long and I'm not done watching it yet but it's an interesting experience! he has some neat insights and I'm bad at stuff like identifying weird time signatures so it's cool to see just how wild stuff gets in some of the songs. he also has fun with it and improvises guitar over some of the tracks which is cool
anyway here's the video link in case anyone else was curious (again, be warned that this is literally five and a half hours long but I've been enjoying it)

Joss Turnbull - Live at Chamber Remix, Cologne, Germany (2024)
NOT just drumming with some background electronics. Yes, Joss is an excellent percussionist but he also know the use his instrument as a sound source and manipulates these sound like a master with his fx-pedals.
The 2 long tracks start of with choppy noodling using excerpts from Votum's "Überdehnung" performance, slowly adding some drony drum elements and building it all up into complex electroacoustic whirlwind. At times it becomes beautifully gritty and noisy, no wonder knowing Joss lately seem to explore the themes of struggling, uncertainty and tension.
Highly recommended for the adventurous listener.
Joss Turnbull - tombak, live electronics
with excerpts from Votum "Überdehnung" Barbara Schachter - vocals Roger Hanschel - saxophone
