The article titled "Taking the Echelon Out to 200 Yards" published on The Armory Life by Beyond Seclusion provides an overview of the capabilities and innovations of the Springfield Armory Echelon 9mm pistol. The article discusses the historical context of the popular 9mm cartridge and examines the advancements in pistol design, notably the incorporation of polymers starting in the 1970s, which significantly enhanced the weight and ergonomics of modern pistols like the Echelon. The author highlights the distinctive features of the Echelon, such as the Variable Interface System which allows adaptable optics mounting, and emphasizes its design to accommodate red dot sights for extreme distance shooting. Demonstrating the pistol's performance, the author shares experiences and findings of shooting at various distances, including successfully hitting targets at 200 yards using a Trijicon RMR red dot sight, showcasing the Echelon’s effectiveness in both standard and extended range scenarios.

ted lasso is a very specific character archetype (imbued with the ability to change everyone’s lives via the power of friendship) but he kind of beefs it with jamie specifically in multiple ways, informed by the manner in which his own tragic backstory and related defense mechanisms are orthogonal to jamie’s. and I love that for them. my chin is in my hands. studying them like insects

All I know is Edward is that guy who's really good at karaoke nights but he's so reserved, he's the guy who's only gonna sing late into the night and his moving performance has to be recorded in video and sent to the group chat so others who left first, will believe it.
Jopson, who goes through it with the harnedened soul of a man who's had to survive too many team building exercises at work has a strategy of going first, singing an innocent chidhood song and getting everybody hyped. No drunken scene or embarrassing videos taken of him to show at work, that's for sure.
Hickey is gonna do Britney Spears while making eye contact with Gibson the whole time. Everyone feels weird but he nails it.
Collins has to be stopped from doing what's new pussycat many times in a row like the Mulaney bit.
Solomon sings sad songs - sad country songs, sad rock balads, sad pop songs - with all of his chest and might be the one who drinks a tidbit too much. It's magic and sincere.
Fitzjames is strategic and dramatic, at first seemingly reluctant to perform, until the time his songs come around, then so help me God, nobody is gonna steal his moment.
Goodsir is actually the MVP who has a good time singing the whole night despite embarrassing himself, his energy makes the others go for it.
John Bridgens is always singing together with everyone and seems to know literally all the lyrics but you cannot convince him to assume that mic.
Crozier holds it up until that moment when everybody is thinking of leaving, to actually perform his whole heart out.
Irving is not only getting the microphone every 5 minutes, he's also shoving the second mic into Hodge's face and convincing the guys to make duets, without him there would be no karaoke night at all. He has to be carried home.
Silna remains stoic the whole night, while drinking like a sailor. She performs exactly once, stuns everyone and at some point cries during a song somebody else is performing, disappears into the restroom for minutes and comes back saying it's time to leave, officially wrapping the night and answering no questions.

legit I feel like one of Travis's unique strengths as a performer within the CritRole cast is how he approaches the emotional, weighty, set-piece moments with an incredible patience and restraint and how unafraid he is of leaving things unsaid and of allowing a long pause. it often feels that he is very comfortable taking these narrative beats at a deliberately slow pace that leaves a silence for a moment to breathe or gain gravity. he is often perfectly content to take his time through a narrative beat and move at a measured rhythm.
he does this in monologues, solo scenes with the GM, in conversations with other player characters. I think this articulate patience and careful restraint Travis has gets lost in his reputation as someone impulsive and loud. his apparent comfort with silence and slow pacing feels uncommon in actual play at large even, and it's a truly skilled and admirable feature of his style.
