We begin again!

On June 1st, I will be starting my annual rewatch of the Phobos Saga, however, this one is going to be a bit different than my previous ones because this time I have a project to go alongside it! I will be making full transcripts of every. single. episode. All roughly 120 of them, each of which are 2-4 hours long. And for anyone curious, this is the playlist I made a while back of the entire Phobos Saga in chonological order (including some Twitch-exclusive one-shots). It will serve as the basis of my transcripts!

Now, you may be wondering why I'm doing this. Well, ever since the very first time I watched KOllOK 1991, I have felt that the series would greatly benefit from human-made captions instead of the YouTube auto-generated ones. Since I obviously don't have the access needed to add captions to the actual videos themselves, I figured that transcribing them myself would be the next best option. I also thought that they might be a useful tool for the entire KOllOK/Phobos Saga community for a variety of reasons, so I will, of course, be making them publicly available via my Tumblr and Bluesky where I'll be linking access to them and you all can make your own copies to use to take notes on and whatnot.

I'm really excited to dive headfirst back into this fandom as it's been quite dormant this year, but it seems to be somewhat reviving!?! And don't worry, fanart will also likely (hopefully) happen along the way!!

What Is Shackle AU?

Shackle AU is an alternative universe to Linked Universe (tumblr link) consisting of five so-to-say "Dark Link" variants created by me and multiple friends. These Dark Links range from "specific Links under different circumstances" all the way to "created by a cult to kill some guy". Now they all have to get along and not stab each other about it. Fun times to be had! There is no specific plot so far, but I do have plans to post art, possibly writings, and maybe even transcripts/edited recordings of the roleplays me and the others involved with these characters here! Stay tuned <3 (While most of the characters seen here are created by other people, there is only one person fully in charge of the blog itself. Think of this blog like a dumping ground of sorts. I got very hyperfixated on these characters and I feel no regret about it. <3)

What are "Wincidents", "Raven Saga" and "Boreas AU"?

...Don't worry about those just yet. (: (Shackle Saga is heavily linked (lol) to some roleplays regarding the Linked Universe characters, and events that occur on the tumblr page may be directly influenced by roleplays done by and conversations that occurred between me and said friends. Multiple characters are VERY heavily influenced by roleplay events that occurred in our personal roleplay lore, but you'll have to discover all of that are we go.)

Day one of transcribing the Phobos Saga is now done and I finished a whopping...

15 minutes of episode one of Ten Candles: The Woods!! And it only took me 5 hours!!

Ok, but seriously. I knew it'd be slow, but I thought I'd at least be able to finish a full episode in a day. I probably could if I spent the entire day on it, but I got other shit to do. I very much underestimated the difficulty of this task (and overestimated my own speed and attention span), but this has not demotivated me at all. I refuse to let another project fall through. I'm sticking with this one until the end. The end just may be farther away than I originally thought lmao. I'll hopefully get faster with practice over time. I'll work on it more tomorrow!
