It’s almost ridiculous how deeply entwined Soul Eater has gotten in the Ambush Sim AU.  I mean, it started off as inspiration from two episodes, but then I remembered Soul played the piano, which I had genuinely forgotten about. (Not sure how, that's kind of a core part of his character.) Anyway, I mentioned to my sister how funny it was that I inadvertently recreated 'white-haired guy with a creepy smile plays piano' in Ambush Sim. Soul Eater is her favorite anime of all time, and so she laughed and this happened:

My Sister:  Can you draw Dabi wearing Soul’s suit?

Me:  The pinstripe one?

My Sister:  Yeah.

This little project started as an idea of adapting Thrawn's theme from Rebels into something more heroic, something that one might hear in an adaptation of the Ascendancy Trilogy.

This train of thought eventually led me to a place where I realized: There is no Thrawn without Ar'alani.

The first part of this track is the penultimate motif of Thrawn's Web played on organ and violin, with a slight change into a brighter and more optimistic chord progression in the last measure.

The middle is Ar'alani's theme, which is my own composition. It utilizes the same base line as Thrawn's theme, but the melody itself is faster, crisper, more orderly. It is meant to evoke cold, sharp beauty rather than darkness and mystery. Here I borrowed the glockenspiel we can hear at the beginning of Thrawn's Web.

Finally the last part is where the two come together. This is not meant to be a love theme per se. I intended it to represent deep bond of friendship and trust between two warriors, how they are the both the only person alive who truly understands the other. Their themes are meant to compliment each other, both being beautiful on their own, but creating a fuller image when together.

I also whipped up a piano version if that is more your style, which I might eventually record on a proper piano:

I have vague plans of making a brighter, more innocent version titled Thrawn and Ziara, but I don't know when I'll get around to that.

Lol, Ambush Sim Touya teaches piano for some of the students from Fuyumi's school. Which means it's possible he's helped chaperone class field trips.

And that image is very funny to me because you have a gaggle of kids aged 6-12, a handful of teachers dressed professionally, and then there's this one really freaky guy. Security keeps stopping him because they don't believe someone who looks like him could be with the kids' group and finally one of Fuyumi's older co-workers just goes off on these guys.

"We told you three times now he's with our group! Don't make me call your supervisor!”

And you know, a bunch of grade schoolers saying,

“That’s not a villain, that’s our piano teacher.”

This could all be pretty demoralizing for Touya (and it probably is) but we could also look at it in a way that Touya gets a kick out of making people squirm after the fact.

"Why did you think I was a villain? Come on. Explain it to me, sir. I'm confused."

All while he's got this fucking look on his face.

"Explain."

To put the answer simply, Rire used to work for the prior King as a Collector (of souls) and he was that King's only Collector and so got the brunt of his ire for any related, perceived fault. Aside from that personal connection Rire also really disliked him because he viewed the prior king as a useless glutton who failed at ruling a sector (conditions were tanking/had tanked for ages), and which the Royal powers were wasted on.

Almost all of his sunglasses are actually normal human sunglasses, he can just see better than a human can 😎

Yes he can play the piano and violin, and horseback ride and ballroom dance etc. Put it this way he has a lot of particular small skills that he picked up during his Earth visits so he could hide in plain sight with the upper echelons XD

On a side note, I can't actually tell you either way because he hasn't encountered an alien (that isn't a demon or a human) lol. He'd probably initially treat an alien much like he would treat a common demon, if they are obviously not human, and then if he realises they are also not quite a demon this could peak his interest.

Most of the time when i draw them Cain is also actively getting in Rire's space whilst Rire is actively trying to avoid him, so there's also that XD

It...depends. On which aspect of "ownership" you're implying. For those that he has deals with, he'd calculate what exactly the value of the deal lost would be and in this situation he'd likely write them off as Cain would be more annoying to handle then they'd be worth (he can always make more deals).

Lol a misconception but Rire doesn't actually perceive humans as trash XD Trash suggests that he hates them and they wouldn't be worth regarding at all, whereas Rire usually finds them more like...novelties.
