Re: cardigans with/without album name patches - I think the original folklore cardigans had patches that said folklore. When evermore was released, the cardigans had Taylor Swift patches, but not folklore patches. This is probably the case with some of the special holiday/different colored cardigans.

Additionally, the cardigans her celeb friends got may say THE folklore album, but she ran into copyright issues with a small Black-owned business that had a similar logo, and dropped "the" from all her merch

It looks like the original cardigans had "folklore album" patches (they were updated after the copyright issue, but I don't know if any with "The" had been shipped at that point). The celeb version was confusing because some didn't have any patches - Kara/Kaia's pic and Kristen Harris's, but Abigail's and Loren Grey's and others have the Taylor Swift patch. The limited edition, the grey/green and beige ones, and the red one all have the "Taylor Swift" patch. But I think the original anon was talking about people specifically removing the patch from the original cardigan, which I just didn't remember hearing about. And seems a bit weird tbh.

I think you mentioned having the maroon and the blue stars around my scars sweatshirts and that they fit differently. I managed to snag the maroon one on Wednesday in M (I usually wear a small) but didn't even check the size chart. How do they fit? What is the difference?

The red one has more fitted cuffs/seams. Like the ends of the sleeves and the bottom of the body are elastic-y so fit closer to the body. The blue one had looser cuffs so it hangs more loosely. I also found the blue one is awkwardly wide so the image of the stars is basically in my armpit. It's also more grey than blue. The red one definitely fits better imo. But be wary when washing it the first time, I'm suspicious that it dyed some stuff red (i told the umg merch people but they didn't care lol). So just wash it with dark clothes ... no white socks!

Did they bring back the cardigans at all for the Black Friday sale? I've been wanting one, but was holding off. I buy a lot of merch secondhand (especially from past eras when I was really broke and couldn't buy anything), but the cardigans on Poshmark are like, $400. 😭

Now @pictureme-inthetrees. I absolutely love the new album and the nostalgia it captures for me. I grew up listening to folk songs, not pop or even current music, but Carole King, Bob Dylan, James Taylor, and Janis Joplin. Seven captures that nostalgia for me. Currently, I aspire for you to picture me in the trees, preferably with some ice cold lemonade and a big sunhat, hiking, enjoying nature, and taking breaks to write my novel.
