I'm willing to bet one of them is shiny meloetta.

Sadly no Meloetta yet, but I did begin working on that! It's... more work than my bro or I thought. They want every Pokemon from the Paldea, Kitikami, and Blueberry Pokedexes registered in Home's dex--All obtained within Scarlet and Violet. If it weren't for that last crevat, I'd be golden. --_-- Sooooo, bro and I have a long road ahead of us for that cool 'mon.

As for the rest...

I can't remember if I've mentioned the Teensy Joltik I caught. She's not shiny, but she's as small as possible, and my first one with that honor! There ain't no better Pokemon for that! :3

And then with a similar honor, is a shiny! I decided to see what I could get from a Girafarig outbreak, using a Humungo lvl. 2 sandwich. I got a shiny, and lo and behold, she was as big as possible! (She's not my first Scarlet catch with that title, but is my first non-alpha max-offsize shiny.)

So now they're buddies--Nano the Teeny, and... She-still-needs-a-name the Great. XD

Another fun fellow is the shiny Alpha Zorua that miraculously graced me with his presence the same day I started hunting for it!

He's a Zoroark now, but he's in Scarlet and I haven't yet put him back in Legends to see what he looks like. His name is Malvin~

And then one that needs some explaining, caught between 12 in the morning and 2 am, is a Pichu with the Destiny Mark.

Are some of my oldest and most well-loved toys.

Pikachu goes back so far that I don't remember getting him, while Raichu may very well be the first toy I remember choosing ever. I remember getting him from a bin in JCPenney, while my bro got a Butterfree.

A month or two ago, I was trying to decide what I wanted to hunt for the Destiny Mark--a Mark that Pokemon can have on one's birthday that gives them the title of "the Chosen One."

Eventually I thought, it would be fun to have a huge Pikachu and a tiny Raichu so that they're roughly the same relative size as my plushies! At first I was thinking they'd both be DM hunts, but then I thought of something else; when I was a kid, that Pikachu was the leader of my plush Pokehoard. So, instead of hunting both in Scarlet, I decided to take an Alpha from Legends to be my Pikachu: Pikachu the Former Alpha.

At first I wanted a smallest or next to smallest one, but after one sandwich attempt and some testing, I decided I wanted him to be as small as possible. Thankfully, I got him on the next attempt.

And while attempting to evolve Pichu up to Raichu, I got a bashful DM Charcadet girl from an outbreak. ^^

I'm about to start hunting for a DM shiny Charmander as well, cuz the idea of her having a Charizard mentor is too cute, lol

TANJIRO KAMADO

Dragonite, because these Dragons are gentle and kind life-savers! Also, this one learns Iron Head and can give extremely hard headbutts!

Shiny Haxorus because Tanjiro's sword turned black, and this Pokémon also learns the Aqua Tail move!

Again, Tanjiro's blade is black, but now he can use Sun Breathing!

NEZUKO KAMADO

Hisuian Lilligant is strong and elegant, much like Nezuko, and can deliver devastating kicks!

Shiny Scream Tail because this little cutie just looks exactly like Nezuko!

Shiny Salazzle because of Nezuko's bright red/pink flames! And yes, I have this Pokémon in my Violet, and no, I didn't buy it or cheat to get it, I got it from Mass Outbreak and took me almost 3 hours to find one...! But DAMN, I was happy when this beauty appeared.

ZENITSU AGATSUMA

Do I even need to explain? Pawmot looks exactly like Zenitsu and is Electric type. I just, this is too perfect for him.

Clefable might throw you guys off, but these Pokémons have AMAZING hearing, much like Zenitsu has and these Pokémon also tend to be quite shy.

I see Zenitsu having Pikachu also because why not? Also, he looked exactly like this Electric Mouse when he was undercover in the Entertainment District Arc! They both have red cheeks, so cute!

INOSUKE HASHIBIRA

I feel that Mightyena could fit Inosuke! I can't really put it into words why, but it just does fit to me!

I think Zangooses would fit him also very well, as they are very fierce Pokémon that battle with amazing skills.

GENYA SHINAZUGAWA

Just like Genya, Dusk Lycanroc can change when entering battle, becoming more fierce and stronger. And it fits, as his big brother would have Lycanroc also.

Noivern's colors are a perfect match with Genya's, and they are both fast and agile.

KANAO TSUYURI

Lurantis, which is a Grass-type Pokémon pretending to be a Bug-type, is a very strong Pokémon, not to mention beautiful also.

Meadow-styled Vivillon is a perfect match for Kanao also.

Pokemon Horizons Episode 91 Review - Reunited After A Year

It’s so nice to see Liko and Roy reunited. I do like that there’s some parallels to how they met back in the beginning with Roy sneaking into the Brave Olivine to meet Liko, saying that he wanted to see her again (though, he wanted to see Fuecoco). This time, he snuck into her school campus from the skies and met up with her again. It’s like Roy’s always the one to find Liko in a way. I also find it sweet how Roy’s first thought was to see Liko when he realized he needs more help to stop these Laquirium outbreaks. It shows that Roy’s someone who cherishes bonds and that both he and Liko are very good friends and trust each other. Roy has always been very understanding of Liko in that when she refused at first, he accepted her answer. It shows that even though Liko’s someone who wants to understand others, Roy’s also good at understanding people’s emotions too. I guess there's a reason he's popular with the girls now?

Seeing Roy and Ann interact again is super nice because they both have similar energy and that they both care for Liko similarly. I really liked their battle! I can see why Ann’s one of the best in the school because her battling skills have increased since the Terastal Debut arc. Ann knows how to use her Samurott’s capabilities to the fullest. The Razor Shell and Drill Run combination to give a three-sword style can make Roronoa Zoro proud. While this battle was to show off Roy’s Lucario’s capabilities without Mega Evolution, nobody was a pushover. Ann can’t go with Liko and Roy on their adventure, but if there is a possible Blueberry Academy story, whether it be a mini-arc or an actual arc, I’d love to see Ann again and how she’d fare in the BB Academy’s environment. 

Also, I have been seeing people calling Roy a copy of Ash on social media due to how he and his Lucario was seen using aura and it got annoying really fast. Like, whether Horizons be a different universe from the Ash anime or not, just because Ash had unique capabilities regarding aura doesn’t mean that he should be the only one to have it. These whiners first complained about Liko having a special lineage and now they’re complaining about Roy having a Lucario. I know that they’re complaining just to have something to complain about but whining won’t get you anywhere nor will it give you anything.

The battle between Liko and Roy was also good. It’s a way for Liko to get that spark back. It’s the first time Meowscarada is battling Crocalor since her evolution, so it’s nice to see that Liko’s still a talented battler despite not being as active as she was on her adventures. She knows how to use Flower Trick to catch her opponent off guard. Though, it does make sense that Roy would beat both Liko and Ann as he’s been training with actual battles in the past year and has gotten a level up in both appearance and battle prowess. Though, I do wonder how they can Terastal in Indigo Academy. Do they have a Tera Crystal in the campus?

I do like that it was Meowscarada helping Liko figure out her true feelings. Meowscarada has always been Liko’s guiding star ever since she was a Sprigatito. Whenever Liko cannot decide something, her cat has always been the one to push her forward. I honestly love their bond. I also love that she legit walked off when she saw Liko being indecisive again, a trait that she hadn’t been seen doing since she was a Sprigatito. It was reminiscent of the earlier episodes, but this time, it was to show Liko that, deep down, she does want to make things right.

As this is the premiere of the new arc, a lot of questions have risen. Since they couldn’t find Friede despite searching for him, they had to disband. During the flashbacks, Roy was back in his home island with just his Crocalor. I do wonder how Captain Pikachu came to accompany Roy and what made him want to go to Kalos and obtain Mega Evolution. Another question I have is whether revealing herself as a member of the Rising Volt Tacklers will affect her schooling in some way. Is she back to doing remote schooling or has she taken a break from school? And the biggest question of all is how will the kids go to different regions…how did Roy get from Hoenn to Kanto in a matter of days? Spinel shows up at the end with the reveal that he captured five of the six heroes. How did that happen?

My only gripe for this episode is the existence of those two juniors. Who are they to spread rumors? Who are they to ask Liko to explain? They annoyed me. Ann better scold them or they better apologize to Liko when she returns with the truth.

The opening song is so good. I love that they show both Liko and Roy’s perspectives, showing off the dual protagonists. I really liked all the songs they’ve used for Horizons—there is no bad opening song. The singer for the new opening is called Yuzu, and they’re a band that have done songs for Hunter x Hunter. I’m surprised that they decided to go back to using Japanese artists after using two K-pop groups in a row. It makes me wonder what sort of song the ending will be…

Now that Liko decides to join Roy with a new outfit, I can’t wait to see what their dynamic will be like. Will it be the same as it was a year ago or will some things change? Since it seems that Uruto will join the group too, I can’t wait to see what sort of dynamic the new group will have. Let me know your thoughts on this episode!

As you know, there's a Pikachu themed Mass Outbreak event going on in Scarlet and Violet right now. I spent maybe two days trying to catch a Shiny Alolan Raichu from the event but I eventually gave up and just decided to sacrifice one of my Legendaries to the GTS for one instead

I picked this one because something felt off about it's nickname. I am 90% sure that "Ratésouhets" isn't Raichu's name in the French translation.

Its basically called Raichu in every language.

So then I came to the conclusion that somebody just named it "Ratésouhets", and I wanted to find out what that meant but when I popped it into Google Translate, it didn't mean anything.

So I thought .... Maybe a slang word that doesn't have an English translation? So I googled it, thinking it would bring me to a French website or something but...

I have been BRAINROTTING over an FMA/Pokemon crossover and I need to share it so!!!

this is gonna be a 'characters exist in the context of another universe' crossover, btw so prepare for that!!!! mostly gonna use Kanto-Alola, bc im not familiar really with Galar and Paldea (except for SNOM and Wooloo)

anyway!

regional starters don't reeeeeally matter in this version, if there's a lack of starters in one region, they'll get a starter from another region

any characters who are State Alchemists are now Gym Leaders! Roy is a fire-type, Armstrong is fighting-type, etc. Olivier is a member of the Elite Four because she's just That Good.

Edward Elric and Alphonse Elric grow up in Pallet Town, alongside Winry Rockbell, whose parents are doctors who sometimes help out Professor Oak with stuff.

Trisha Elric and Delia Ketchum are besties, so Ed and Al also grow up with Ash, who is ~2 years older (eg. when Ash goes to Hoenn, Ed is just starting his journey and drags Al along

when Ed and Al are about 4/5, Trisha gets sick when there's an outbreak of disease in the area. She died from this, but Ed and Al move in with the Rockbells (as Delia can't financially support three young children on a single salary).

Hohenheim, btw, is off doing something vaguely justice-y, maybe he's in deep cover in Team Rocket? Idk, but he's not in the picture. Ed and Al know that he's 'busy with work', but can't know what that is. He does his best to keep in contact, but Van Honhenheim is legally dead so there's that issue.

Father is Hohenheim's twin, and is all around a terrible guy. He leads a crime syndicate in one of the regions (don't ask where, maybe Kalos?) that is NOT the main evil team, and the Homunculi are his enforcers.

The homunculi all specialise in a different type (eg. Envy is a bug specialist, Pride is a ghost specialist, Sloth is a fighting specialist, etc). They're annoying as fuck to deal with, and fight by their own rules. If you're in a battle with them, you are aiming to kill, because they won't hesitate to kill you if you lose.

anyway, Winry's parents are killed during an attack by Team Rocket while they were travelling, but are fairly well-known by the Gym Leaders and Elite Four of various regions for,,,,reasons (I.e. they helped out one of the Champions in a tight spot and earned the respect of most).

Just before they get killed, however, Ash leaves on his journey. Ed does NOT particularly like Pikachu, and it's...a situation. But Ed can't WAIT to go on his journey!!!

then, of course, they're vibing and just living life when something comes round to kick their asses.

listen, these two kids are at least vaguely related to Professor Elric (aka Hohenheim, he helped out Professor Oak until he found Stuff and went into deep cover to keep the family safe) so surely they know something about his research, right? right???

they, uh, they don't. But the attack happens one night when they're in their dad's study reading about something. a lone member of team rocket is sent to 'retrieve them', and ends up fucking up so much that goddamn ARCEUS gets involved

basically, Ed and Al were just vibing when this fucker, instead of doing the sensible thing and knocking them out and then just nabbing them, decides to bring out a fuckin scyther who...can't grab stuff. shit happens, Ed loses a leg in the initial scuffle but when he's trying to get to Al, loses his arm, and Al...comes off better, but not much. He's lose a few fingers (ring and pinky on his right hand) and a chunk of his shoulder, and also got his larynx badly damaged, but he's...not in immediate danger.

A few weeks pass, and a Gym Leader named Roy comes around to investigate as a favour to one of the Officers Jenny. He's there with his best friend/sort-of girlfriend (Ed doesn't really know, it's definitely something), and he's awkward and angry.

Roy keeps it quiet, it's all under wraps, but when he was younger, before he became a Gym Leader, he was a member of Team Rocket. He...thought they were good, but he was wrong. He left soon after that and dragged his childhood friend, Riza, out with him. Since then, he's become the Elite Four and International Police's investigator and attack dog, while training to inherit the Cinnabar Island Gym.

spent the day trying to find some of the shiny pikachu and friends outbreak event in pokémon scarlet and violet!!! i already had a shiny pikachu and shiny mimikyu so i prioritised working on getting the other pokémon in the event!!! i started off with getting a regular alolan raichu (as i haven't got one) and then i caught a shiny one not long after!!! afterwards, i caught 2 shiny pichu back to back and then quickly got a shiny regular raichu soon after!!!

it's very rare for me to have a successful shiny hunt nowadays but today was a sweet exception!!! 🎮💛

My love for Alolan Raichu

So i love Alolan Raichu. They are my favorite Pokemon and they make me smile. I don't really play much unite... I only started when Ceruledge joined and i have only played him up until this point... even though i haven't played this game in awhile...but to my surprise i think i enjoy playing as Alolan Raichu over Ceruledge. I also think its cute that her per-evolution is heart tailed pikachu. Its a cute idea to seprate the og pikachu thats been in the game for awhile now for Alolan Raichu and of course i had to get the surfer costume lol.

Just to think 12 days ago i finally got my full odds shiny Alolan Raichu from Lets Go Eevee! I've been trying on and off for four months. Well looking at my play hours it translates into 6 full days of shiny hunting lol. But i finally got her and can keep playing this game and finish my video i was making for LGE!

Then 7 months ago i was traded a shiny Alolan Raichu from my brother in law in GO. We both had been playing on and off for years but then i really got into GO last summer so i started talking to him more in depth about the game and we started showing each others shiny and i freaked out when i saw that he had a shiny Alolan Raichu from 2020 i was like please i will trade you anything for them lol. I don't remember what i gave him. Either a shiny starter or another shiny alolan. He likes gen 1 and gen 2, so he didn't really care as much, and it had meh stats so i just had to wait a couple months for him to finally save up enough stardust and then she was mine!

SO i was typing this in reverse chronological order but in order to understand my pain (though in the end i'm glad it happened this way) I'll now talk about my first shiny Alolan Raichu from Sword and Shield's Dynamax Adventure dens. 10 months ago after 2 weeks of non stop trying. Which for awhile i just did the regular paths over and over but then i discovered you could reset the same path at the cost of dynite ores. But after running out you have to go back to the regular method. Well after running out i ran out of ores and then did like 5 new runs. came across alolan raichu but decided i didn't have enough to reset. Said nope. NEED like 300 more ore before attempting resets again, BUT right after on a new run with new paths and with only 25 ore (or some low number, can't remember exact) i ran into ANOTHER alolan raichu (which running into him in general is rare) and i'm like okay this is a sign i have to reset and i reset alllll the way until i had no more ore and on the last one (where i caved and didn't use my only beast ball cause i didn't think i'd get him and i didn't want to pay 150 ore for another ball so i used a dive ball instead) and WELL. My shiny boy came home. And hey dive balls are cool too. Works well with him. (I did have shiny charm as well and adventure dens are boosted odds but he still took foreverrrr)

SO imagine my surprise that 9 months ago. ONE. !!1!! MONTH after i caught him in SWSH they came to Scarlet and Violet for a special event outbreak. I was shocked and at the time i felt a little slighted but to cope i caught a total of 35 shiny Alolan Raichu's from the event lol

With the very last one i caught, i switched to my birthday and searched for a shiny raichu with a destiny mark and caught him in a beast ball :) SO now i believe i have a shiny in every game you can have alolan raichu in.... (except sleep idk if he's in that but i don't want to play that lol)

Well... that and... the gen 7 games (cries) SO confession. I skipped gen 7. in my defense i was off to college and i was busy and then they took mega evolutions away so i used that as an out to not play them lol. So i don't think i even saw Alolan Raichu's design for awhile. It wasn't until i saw it sometime around the LGE era and then i discovered it had an AMAZING shiny and then idk i fell in love ever since. I love both its OG colors and Shiny. (i didn't get LGE until this year and i bought the SWSH DLC when it came out but i did not touch the dens until last year lol. So i didn't know they were even in the game lol)

I still have a 3ds but the r button is broken so i can't play some games. (and doesn't own SM/US-UM) But eventually i want to get a new 3ds (will be years probably) but when i do i will also get sun and moon and play em. though i could use an emulator but not sure... i like playing on the original console. Also Getting shiny alolan raichu is easy as hell in that version you just got to hunt for a pikachu or hatch a shiny pichu and the evolve em with a thunderstone. But they won't evolve into my surf board buddy unless in Alola. So i've always had to do a special way to get em.

But essentially i have a Shiny Alolan Raichu on every switch Pokemon game that can have them in it! (and GO) and that makes me so happy! i feel complete lol. Now i just need to finish LGE and make an part 2 to my first video. Next is continuing my hunt for shiny cobalion but also i need to work on home dex for Shiny Keldeo but oof shiny cobalion just does not want to come home :/

Pokemon news! From now till july 25th 2024, there are special Pikachu mass outbreaks. Pichu in Paldea, Pikachu and Mimikyu in Kitakami, and Raichu and Alolan Raichu in Blueberry Academy. They have a higher chance of being shiny.

During the outbreak period, there are also pikachu 7 star raids! Note that this Pikachu raid also ran last year, and if you already got it back then you can't catch it now! Only 1 per save file

ever played pokemon to get through this bs? Porqué yo te digo nunca ha querido que se cae un ceiling tile y al miso tiempo tratando figura que tengo que hacer next en el video juego. Because like, Díos mío, solo vi para have an idea what bs he would say so no estaría afuera del loop and I don't want to hear things second handed. I want to know que bs se va llegar.

Like there is a measles outbreak going on and an unvax kid died. There are cases of it reported in my city thats in a different state! And even vaxxed people can get it and already we have reports of it!!!

Not to mention a tuberculosis outbreak as well in Kansas. And funding for sciences are being cut because grants are being denied if you use certain "woke" words like female, diversity, bia, gender and so much more that are used in the sciences. Like my bio department is notifying us of a protest to stand up for science! It's frustrating seeing how a third of our country sent us to this mess porque la gente cree que el leopardo no les va a comer su cara por las cosas que dice el baboso and get pikachu surprised they are getting fired from their jobs or hurt from el idiota's policies. (FYI, of 3/3 Americans who can vote, only 2/3 actually do!).

Trying to decide which Pokédex to complete next since I just finished Hisui. Unfortunately I don’t have the money to get the DLC for ScarVio so that one’s out of the question but I have all the other games listed and their DLC if applicable.

Thoughts:

Since I only have the one game I will have to trade/breed the game specific Pokémon, and trade for a BD/SP specific Palkia. I don’t remember if I sped through the game or not, as it both sucked as a remake, and came out close to PLA, which I was much more interested in playing. This will be the most annoying to complete for these reasons. Gonna be hard to get a trade for Palkia and I might have to play through most of the game depending on if I finished it or not. Will be a very time intensive completion.

Thoughts:

This will be easy to complete since I have complete coverage from both games and All of the legendary Pokémon collected already (they’re in my living dex). The hardest part is honestly the sheer amount I have to get. While there will be overlap between the technically 3 different dex I have to complete, there’s still a LOT of Pokémon I’ll have to catch/breed/evolve to complete them, and I’ll have to jump between the 2 games to do it, which will be annoying.

I definitely caught all the Legendary Pokémon already, though have apparently not transferred them to home yet, so realistically I have way more than 12/150 already. Not having LGP means I’ll have to breed/trade any game specific Pokémon but that should be an easy task. This will definitely be the easiest to complete, I think, albeit a little time consuming.

Difficulty rating: ⭐️

Honestly Hisui was the biggest pain in the ass because of the game mechanics (space distortions/outbreaks) but it was also the only one where I could catch 100% of everything from the one game without needing to trade. That being said, there’s also no breeding in that game, so I couldn’t just breed the harder to get Pokémon. Again, on a positive note though, the reason I chose to finish it first was because it was the game I had the closest completion in. I think when I started I had like 110/242 already, so I had like 130 Pokemon to catch.
