a small little detail in Loveless

I noticed this when rereading Loveless (for probably the tenth time). Rooney later reveals how she dropped her whole life to be with her piece-of-absolute-garbage boyfriend, who she dated from 14 to 17 years old. So, I assume, this meant she stopped dancing then, because she wanted to be with the boy. It is just a small detail, but it is clever of Alice to do a bit of foreshadowing of the upcoming reveal of Rooney’s past relationship.
