Old-World arrowhead or arrowhead (lat. Sagittaria sagittifolia).

A perennial growing in shallow waters of lakes, rivers, and ponds. It got its name due to the shape of the leaves resembling arrows.

The root of this plant is rich in starch therefore it is used in cooking in boiled and baked form. It tastes like potatoes, peanuts, or even chestnuts when cooked. They are also enjoyed by waterfowl, fish, and some mammals, such as muskrats.🌿

Well I am awake. I've been awakeish for 2 hours but I didn't wanna get out of bed so I just snoozed on and off. Lol

something really odd about a handful of the clients i sit for is the amount of vegetable gardens people try to keep alive during the brutal 100+ degree summers here, and during a drought no less. They are absolutely all violating water restriction guidelines and some even have irrigation systems but still need to water their plants with a hose.

BUT NONE . i mean NONE of them use any sort of mulch??????? or like. anything to help plants retain water at all

He expected to see a lot of things once he came home from Hellfire, but what he didn't expect was you in his Corroded Coffin shirt while reading one of his books on D&D. "What ya doing there?", he said with a smirk as he entered his room.

Both of his parents were out of state this week, so you stayed at Gareths place to help him take care of his little sisters. Since he was coming home late today, you already put them to bed. Everything about this week felt domestic, to both you and him. Like you were always meant to be together like this.

"Reading about what you were doing.", you said to him with a smile. "It's really interesting, actually." He went over to his bed and sat down next to you, to which you put a piece of paper between the pages and put the book down. "What is this?", he said with a smirk while giving the shirt on your body a small tug. "It smells like you.", you admitted with a slight blush. It was adorable to him. "Did my princess miss me that much?", he said in a teasing tone before giving you a kiss on the cheek. "I did.", you replied with an innocent smile. "Come here." Gareth opened his arms for you to get comfortable in, so you did. He wrapped his arms around your body and held you tight to his himself while planring small kisses on the top of your head. "You're even cuter when you wear my clothes.", he mumbled into your hair "All mine." You let out a giggle at his words and nuzzled closer to him. "Forever and always.", you replied. Those words made his stomach do a flip. He'd do just about anything to make sure that that will happen. "I'm planning on making you my wife." His hands found a strang of your hair and let it twirl between his fingers. "Are you now?" You grinned against him, having all sorts of scenarios in your head. "Can't stop thinking about it, actually." Gareth smiled at his own words. "We'll have a nice little house, two kids and maybe some cats." A giggle left your mouth. "That sounds like a lovely plan, Gare.", you whispered.

"I love you.", you said softly. Your boyfriend kissed the top of your head once more before saying. "I love you, too, Princess."

You stayed like this for a few minutes before Gareth got ready for bed. After changing his clothes and brushing his teeth, he got into bed next to you. Once again, you cuddled up to him and rested your head on his chest. "I like this.", you mumbled. He let out a slightly confused "Hm?" at your words. "This. All of this. Living in the same house as you, walking home with you, cooking with you. All of it." His lips formed a smile as he kissed your forehead. "I like it, too.", he mumbled. "Like a married couple." You giggled at his words, turning your body to face him directly.

"I can think of something else married couples do before bed.", you whispered as your fingertips ran down his chest.
