Okay, so, five things that make me happy.

1) my baby niece and nephew. I love those kids with my life and I would die for them.

2) the fact that my brother and his wife chose me as my nephew’s godmother!! I’M A GODMOTHER, YOU GUYS!!! And my godson is the most adorable baby in the WORLD, no, I don’t take constructive criticism nor feedback, this is a FACT, thank you very much.

3) reading something I wrote and actually liking it. This happened to me a few months ago, when I was looking for a specific sentence I’d written and got caught up reading several things I’d written in a daily journal of sorts. I didn’t remember a lot of it and found that I absolutely loved it, so that was a really nice surprise.

4) I can be honest about taking sleeping medication and antidepressants, and people’s reaction has been to gently say, “How have you been feeling? If I may ask, of course.” Everyone’s been super supportive and understanding, and this is how we can start to erase the stigma around mental illness and talking openly about it and about how to treat it.

5) this is kind of a silly one, but wearing this gorgeous, absolutely beautiful skirt that my mom bought me for my birthday! I don’t wear skirts often, even though I think they’re wonderful, and this one is long and flowy and I just love it so much!! I’m actually gonna go wear it now lmao!

This is late! But Anime Senpai was my last con for the year and it was the con where I got to meet @pleasinglytherandom! I have met one other tumblr follower since joining last June and holy moly you guys are amazing!!!

Con season is over for me and its time for holidays and relaxation time lol

Best part of the con was the people!

Worse was the line…but I hate lines and lugging a Duel Disk…HOW DID THEY DO IT!?!? XD

🔥YGO fandom

It’s better now than it was when I was younger.

Like, the shit we see now in fandoms, I was seeing that back on deviantart in 2006 and 2007. People would get so violent about ships and character portrayals, and it was just... a mess. It was a fucking mess. Sure, it’s not as creepy and awful like it is now, what with calling people out and wanting to hurt the content creators, but... fuck dude, the shit people use to say to each other online over a fucking character or a ship... hell! I remember seeing someone being mad at someone for drawing a character in a style they didn’t like! And I even was told to set my art on fire cause it was bad. Wow.

Nowadays, I do see some fandom issues, but it’s nothing like what I use to see. And, as usual, I tend to just stick to my own bubble, my own little circle in the fandom. I like a lot of the content I see now, how people present the characters (not always, but I like how a lot of my friends shows how their view the characters but still keeping very close to canon).

I also feel much better about presenting my ideas, cause a long time ago, I use to produce content that I thought people wanted, that wouldn’t get me in trouble. I followed the crowd, the bandwagon of ideas and such. Wow, what a dumbass I use to be!

I still like some of my old ideas and such, but most of them were garbage, and most of the fanfics and such I use to read make me cringe because they were based around some really bad concepts (like the Anzu hate).

There are still some bad fandom things that I see, more often than not, I tend to see it with the other series, not just DM, but as I said, I try to avoid it. I don’t wanna get involved with that shit storm. And if it keeps coming up? Blacklisting and blocking posts really helps.

Atemu is hurt, bad! Memory world maybe??? Bakura knows his weakness...dammit it all! He is trying to get to him...to Yugi...before Bakura does! Yugi ran off after they argued about Atemu wanting them to leave! The gang followed after Yugi.

Now we have the fight, there is also the pain/injury that u can decide, and he's also desperate! But now...

Does he get to Yugi in time??? HELL NO! Bakura got to him and is holding a freaking knife to Yugi's throat, Joey and them have Diabound holding them at bay. Atemu has to give up the puzzle in order to save Yugi. Yugi oos begging him not to! Bakura smirks and reminds him how much he wouldnt mind destroying the one thing Atemu holds dear

Yugi is confused and Bakura says why don't you tell him, as he sinks the knife into Yugi's skin, a little bit of blood falls.

Atemu is scared and he admits behind closed eyes "What he means is that...I have fallen in love with you. I don't know how or why, but I did. You are my world Aibou and I would do anything for you..." he takes the puzzle off. "Anything." He offers it out, even as Yugi is screaming to not do it, tears falling down his face.

Bakura had diabound grab the puzzle and just as he brings it to him, Bakura stabs Yugi from behind and vanishes!

Okay I need to stop XD

For once I’ll ask for involvement in this, because I have this image in my head with one of the puzzleboys being desperate and being hurt, but I can’t remember the original reason or context I had imagined. I just keep remembering the kind of pain they are feeling.

Like they were arguing about something? But I don’t remember why they were arguing. Maybe one was trying to persuade the other about not doing a thing.

But personally I have a hard time imagining them arguing about something, maybe outside of them being totally oblivious about what people think of them (and that’s including each other).

I ask for involvement because maybe making the angst worse I can get my ass in gear on finishing the drabble I originally started lol. I know one of you would love to have this drabble too, because it’s Atem realizing that he isn’t as batshit crazy as he thinks he is and knows what he finally he needs to do. ;P

Feel free to make this as painful as possible, god knows I need a motivation booster.

Honestly, though, it’s such a wonderful book! It’s probably the funniest book I read last year? It might be the funniest book I’ve read ever, period! I loved it SO much and the series did it SO MUCH JUSTICE, LIKE!!!! I HAVE BEEN SCREAMING ABOUT GOOD OMENS NONSTOP FOR LIKE THREE MONTHS NOW!!!!!

YES!!!! Okay so my OCD is telling me to answer it 11, 12, 14…sorry XD

11: What song reminds them of each other? Yugi’s song to remember Atemu is the song “A Beautiful Thing” by Grace VanderWaal. It literally says “other half”! And Atemu’s song for Yugi is “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran. Replace the word “baby” with “Yugi” and BAM there it is!

12: Who presses their nose against their partner’s cheek before kissing them? Yugi does. Cause Atemu doesn’t always kiss Yugi first, usually Yugi kisses first. Why? Cause Atemu asks permission before ever doing something to Yugi. He refuses to do something his Aibou doesn’t want to do, ever again!

14: Who accidentally snorts when they laugh and that makes both of them laugh harder? Atemu. Yugi makes him laugh hardcore, pretty much the only one who can. So sometimes Yugi will push him to the edge and bam, he snorts and they are now both laughing hard!

Uhhh... I don’t know, I’ve gotten a lot of awesome feedback on my stories over the years. I’m not sure which is the best, but I’ve gotten some amazing feedback on my Bendy fanfics and some awesome comments on the drabbles and such that I’ve posted here.

45. Worst piece of feedback you’ve ever gotten.

I got told I was doing my own fanfic plot wrong and I have basically lost the will to continue the fanfic right now, so it’s... pretty depressing.

49. What do you find the hardest to write in a story, the beginning, the middle or the end?

THE FUCKING MIDDLE! I have the beginning planned, and, for the most part, the ending ready to go, but the middle? I have a million and one ideas and no idea how to structure them.

21. things you said when we were on top of the world

As soon as they reach the observation deck, Atem is rushing to the railing, nearly crashing into it with enough strength that Yugi’s momentarily worried his boyfriend is going to smack into the glass in front of him. To their luck, he doesn’t.

“Aibou, look!” Atem says, his voice slightly higher-pitched than usual. At the same time, though, he sounds like he’s whispering and trying not to scream. Yugi can’t help grinning--it’s so adorable. “You can see almost the whole city from here!”

Yugi has only come here a few times. Grandpa used to bring him to this same observation deck when he was a child, and Yugi sometimes sneaked here after school when he needed to be alone for a while. Despite having been here before, he had never noticed how beautiful the city looks from this point, how the world suddenly seems so...

“It looks so small,” Yugi mutters to himself. Next to him, Atem nods his head.

“It does, doesn’t it?” Then he lets out an ecstatic sigh, almost like a laugh.

“What?” Yugi asks, chuckling. 

“It’s so weird, seeing everything below us,” Atem answers. “It all feels gigantic and towering most of the time, but standing here... I feel like that instead.” He sighs again, and Yugi sees his shoulders relax. “I never thought I’d get to be here, to see this, but now that I am? I feel like I can do anything.”

And you can, Yugi thinks, reaching out to place his hand on top of Atem’s. Now you can do anything you want. 

Atem turns to him with one of the happiest smiles Yugi has ever seen on him. It’s a good look on him. He bumps his shoulder against Atem’s, and Atem responds by leaning his head on Yugi’s shoulder so Yugi can rest his head on top of his.

Despite having been here before, no other time can compare to the way he feels now; standing here, looking over the city with the boy he loves beside him, his energy contagious, Yugi feels invincible.
