Thorn, Stone, and Thire hold an intervention for Fox because his obsession with his supposed conspiracy about the war has gotten to unhealthy levels again so they force him to take a vacation somewhere he can’t disappear to fight gangs and assassins for days on end without sleeping.

They send him to the 501st because Cody can keep an eye on him and Rex, as the batch baby, may have some luck getting him to sleep. Fox decides to make this everyone else’s problem by getting into screaming matches with Anakin over his ability to make battle plans, terrorizing logistics officers, abducting shines into his “spy network” (aka cult, also known as being adopted), and ranting to anyone who will stay still long enough about how palpatine is secretly a sith and is controlling both sides of the war.

Fortunately he calms down a bit when they let him out of the ship onto a battlefield. He’s used to being able to run around Coruscant, which is a giant parkour playground, and doesn’t do well cooped up too long. Unfortunately the battlefield is Umbara.

When Krell gets there Fox tells him he’s shit to his face and pulls out his spreadsheet to prove it. (The spreadsheet is a meticulously crafted document ranking every Jedi general and commander based in multiple factors like casualties, treatment of troops, how the chancellor feels about them, ect. Number 1 is Plo Koon and 2 is Mace Windu. Krell is last, Anakin is second to last.) Rex keeps trying to get Fox not to pick fights with commanding officers and reminds him he’s supposed to be on vacation, but Fox doesn’t listen cause he’s too busy radicalizing the ARC troopers.

Krell dies of a heart attack because he drank Fox’s caff, which had enough caffeine to kill an elephant.

Jedi culture & community fics, my beloved! They're a bit of a rare breed for what you're specifically looking for, specifically focusing on positive Jedi worldbuilding, so if anyone has genfic recs outside of the ones I know, please feel free to add them! But these should help scratch that itch for you, each of them has at least some focus on Jedi philosophy or how Jedi interact with each other or the lessons they teach! It's been awhile since I've read some of them, so there might be some that aren't quite as in-line with how I see the Jedi these days, but they're all ones I felt portrayed them pretty positively and they're all genfic (except one that I made an exception for) and all really lovely fics I remember enjoying for the Jedi worldbuilding aspects! And there are some that will make you absolutely melt with how much you love these characters and their beautiful culture, because by god if canon's not going to give us as much detail as we want, fandom will step up. I often see people saying the first season of TCW is childish, but that arc hit hard. With everything you mentioned and Plo telling Wolffe the clones matter to him...it's all pretty heavy.

I think what fucks me up the most about the Malevolence arc is that at some level - that early in the war - the venerators have to have felt SAFE you know? It takes a lot to breach a venerator and even more to actually disable it. And it's one thing to know something isn't as safe as it feels but it's another to have that demonstrated. and then even the failsafes aren't safe because you can still be hunted. And you're impossibly vulnerable because all that's between you and a bad death are several inches of steel and glass.

IDK man I just keep thinking about the Malevolence and wonder if Boost, Sinker and Wolffe ever actually felt safe on a star ship again.

We noticed that people were interested in organizing Plo Koon week (probably first in history). Before we will start setting everything up, we need to see how many people would be interested (whether it is active participating or just watching what other folks made).

My fifth Ahsoka Tano redesign, this time it’s her Rebels outfit.

It’s been awhile since I’ve done one of these; this was actually drawn last year, I just never posted it XD •_•.

But anyways….

I wanted to do something completely different from her Rebels design this time. While her official outfit is fine, it’s still a little too simple at the same time; that might be because of the animation style, but I’m not going to be excuse that.

Now this is going into some AU territory here….

For starters, I gave her a Jedi Temple Guard’s uniform. I mixed different variations from, I believe, The Clone Wars concept art, to kinda symbolize that she had to scrap together what she could find.

The mask as you can see is broken so that it can fit across her face.

Cloth covers almost all of her head-tails for secrecy.

The skirt portion splits at the sides for easier movement.

The reason why I put her in a Temple Guards uniform is so that she could hide her identity from the Empire. And also because, I highly doubt that being Anakin Skywalker’s padawan didn’t make her recognizable on some degree. (also her face was plastered everywhere across Coruscant at a point).

Another point for her hiding her identity is that if the Empire discovered that Skywalker’s padawan survived, she would be hunted down mercilessly.

I did keep her Togruta cultural pieces, since she is easily identifiable as a Togruta and I don’t think you could figure out who she is based off of that.

The head piece is based off of one of Padme’s concept designs. Although I forget from which movie I’m afraid.

Now for the lightsabers, I had the idea that Ahsoka would try to find other Jedi survivors during this time. But all she finds are discarded lightsabers, if she’s lucky.

The white lightsaber in the middle is, Plo Koon’s.

The two on the left are, Katooni’s and Zatt’s.

The two on the left are Aayla Secura’s and Ki-Adi Mundi’s.

She uses a different saber every time she encounters an a Inquisitor, while also trying to use different saber forms as a way to shield her identity.

🌈 OBI-WAN KENOBI You present it to him like, “Master Kenobi, I made you something.” He smiles politely. “How thoughtful.” He opens it and freezes. It’s pale blue, copper, and gold—very tasteful—and the beads spell “KENOBI-WAN KENOBI.” He exhales slowly. “You… added the hyphen.” You nod, very proud. He stares at it for a full minute and finally says, “Well, I suppose that’s—charming.” Wears it under his glove. Touches it when he’s stressed. If anyone asks, he just goes: “It was… a diplomatic gift.”

🌈 ANAKIN SKYWALKER He is SO SUSPICIOUS. “Is it cursed? Does it track me? Is it laced with humility??” You just hand him a black, gold, and red bracelet that says “ANNIE” with a heart. He short-circuits. “Who told you that nickname??” You shrug. “The Force.” He’s flustered, loudly says he’ll never wear it… But Obi-Wan later catches him putting it on in the mirror and whispering: “Annie’s got style.” Starts making bracelets back. They’re terrible. They say “BADASS” and “HOT JEDI.”

🌈 AHSOKA TANO She cries. Fully. No warning. “Wait—this is for me??” You hand her a bracelet that’s orange, white, and blue, and has little star and leaf charms. It says “SNIPS 💫” in glitter letters. She gasps, tackles you into a hug, and immediately makes you three bracelets back. Later: “I made one for Rex too. And one for R7. And one for that cool loth-cat I saw once.”

🌈 PLO KOON “Padawan. This is a… delight.” You made him one in burnt orange and cream, with a bead that looks like his goggles. It says “SPACE DAD.” He holds it very delicately like it’s an ancient artifact. He will not wear it—he suspends it from the dash of his starfighter like an air freshener. Every youngling in the Temple wants to make him one now. He has a whole tree of bracelets hanging from his quarters.

🌈 YODA You were scared to give it to him, but did it anyway. It’s forest green and says “LIL GUY 🐸.” He takes it. Stares. Nods solemnly. “Great power this holds. Mm.” You’re not sure if he understood or if he’s just trolling. He’s wearing it in full public view the next day like it’s a medal. Younglings follow him like he’s a friendship bracelet deity now.

🌈 MACE WINDU You expected to get Force yeeted. You made him one in purple and black with bold blocky letters: “BAD MF.” He looks at it. Then looks at you. Then puts it in his pocket and goes: “No one sees this.” A week later you catch him meditating with it wrapped around his saber hilt. If you say anything, he will deny it to his grave.

🌈 BARRISS OFFEE You give her a calming indigo and silver one with a tiny crystal bead and “BALANCE” spelled in runes. She nods respectfully. “I will meditate with this.” You later find her in the library just holding it. Has deep thoughts about friendship. Also probably journals about you like “this being is unironically healing.”

🌈 LUMINARA UNDULI You give her one with earthy greens and a bead shaped like a tree. It says “SPACE MOM.” She chuckles. “You’re incorrigible.” Wears it tucked neatly into her robes, only letting it peek out when she’s with other Jedi who also got one. Forms a secret Jedi Bracelet Society. Initiation requires a craft night.

🌈 KIT FISTO “COOL!!” You hand it over—sea green, black, with lil sparkly beads that say “BIG SMILE ENERGY.” He fist bumps you, then immediately makes you a necklace of shells. Everyone’s like “Kit, is that regulation?” Kit: “Regulation of good vibes, young one.” Doesn’t take it off even during battles. Claims it makes his lightsaber stronger (??)

🌈 SHAAK TI You approach carefully, unsure if this elegant, powerful Togruta would be into little string crafts. You: “So I… uh. Made you something.” She tilts her head. You offer a crimson, silver, and white bracelet with spiraled beads and one that looks like a lil tiara. It says “✨SOVEREIGN VIBES✨” She chuckles, low and warm. “I will treasure this.” Wears it proudly on her upper arm like a royal armband. Will absolutely deflect blaster bolts with the power of love and embroidery floss. Whispers “Thank you, little one,” like you gifted her a kyber crystal.

🌈 AAYLA SECURA You hand her a bracelet in azure and bronze, with tiny flower beads and the words “💙 COOLER THAN U 💙.” She smirks, turns it over in her hand, and says: “You get me.” Wears it immediately. Flashes it at Anakin like “see, I have friends.” 100% joins Kit Fisto’s chaotic arts and crafts night. Makes you a matching one that says “CHAOTIC PADAWAN ENERGY.” Teaches you secret Twi’lek bead symbolism. You now speak bracelet code. You’re bonded forever.

🌈 DEPPA BILLABA You go soft on this one. It’s calm green and light yellow, with little pearl accents. It just says “HOPE.” She holds it gently, like it’s made of light. “Thank you. This means more than you know.” Caleb Dume sees it and immediately asks you for one too. You make him a tiny baby-sized one that says “NOT A MENACE” (he is a menace). Depa wears hers on tough missions and says it gives her strength. Caleb chews on his. This is fine.

🌈 JOCOSTA NU You nervously approach. “Master Nu, I uh—made you a bracelet. Don’t ban me from the Archives.” It’s aged gold and dusty blue, with tiny book charms and a single bead that says “SHHH.” She raises an eyebrow… then laughs softly. “You are ridiculous. Thank you.” Immediately reorganizes the banned Holocron section with it on her wrist. Also makes you a Library ID with “CRAFT MASTER” as your Jedi title.

🌈 LUMINARA UNDULI (part 2 because she deserves it and I love her) You give her a new one. Forest green, matte black, and a golden sun bead in the center. It just says “💚💀💚” She raises a brow. “What… does this mean?” You: “Balance. Inner peace. Also you’re cool as hell.” She hums and nods. “Acceptable.” Meditates with it daily. Accidentally starts a new Temple aesthetic called “morbid peace.” Younglings love it.

🌈 TERA SINUBE You hand him a soft pastel blue and silver bracelet that says “COOL OLD GUY.” He beams. “It’s been a long time since someone made me something like this.” Tells every youngling who’ll listen. Wears it on his cane. Claims it improves his balance. (It does not. But he believes it and that's what matters, besties.)

🌈 BONUS ROUND – YOUNGLINGS You hand out mini bracelets like Oprah and they LOSE THEIR MINDS. One says “TINY CHAOS.” Another “FUTURE MENACE.” One simply reads: “💥💥💥” They trade them like Pokémon cards. You walk into the Temple like: “My impact is felt. My glitter reign is eternal.”

Conclusion: You have personally created a new Jedi Order custom: Bracelet Offering Ceremonies. The High Council is confused but too emotionally stunted to stop you. Yoda’s got ten. Ahsoka’s wrist is full. Obi-Wan pretends not to care but has them in chronological display order. The Temple is glittery now. Kit Fisto hosts craft night. Mace Windu has a friendship charm on his saber. The galaxy is healing 💖

You have won. The Force is strong with your rainbow chaos 💫

For the first time in weeks, you get to feel the sun kiss your skin once again. It’s been so long since you’d gotten to bask in any sort of sunlight. And now, since you have a few days of rest, you’ve gone trekking through the woods until you’re met with an endless blue on blue. A cloudless blue sky and an ocean so turquoise, you could cry. What a gorgeous sight. 

Closing your eyes and reaching out into the force around you, you make sure that you’re safe and there are no threats, but nothing makes itself known. As you drop your pack, you pull out a blanket and set it down on the warm sand, kicking off your boots first, smiling at the feel of it trickling between your toes. Then, you take off your robes, and your under clothes until you’re in just your undergarments. As you start walking toward the ocean, you feel a familiar presence and you stop, turning toward him.  

“Commander?” Wolffe stands in front of you, eyeing your nearly naked form. 

You cross your arms, slightly self conscious. “Oh, Commander Wolffe. You found me.” 

He notices the change in your body language and looks away. 

“Is everything okay? Am I needed back at base?” You ask, prepared to throw your robes back on. 

“No, ma’am. I just… wanted to make sure you were safe.” He stands awkwardly with his arms at his side, but his hands fidget slightly, like he’s not sure what to do. 

“Oh. That’s nice of you. There’s nothing threatening on this beach.” You smile, teasingly. “Except perhaps yourself.”

You don’t miss the slight huff of a laugh that he’d never let anyone other than his brothers and Master Plo Koon hear. It’s a nice sound and you like his smirk. 

“Did Plo send you?” You start to wiggle your toes in the sand again. 

“No, he didn’t. I came on my own.” He looks at you again and you can’t help but grin.

“If I didn’t know any better, I’d say you might care about me, Wolf- Commander.” You tease, sitting down on the blanket and pat the spot next to you.

He looks back toward the treeline, perhaps to make sure no one else was coming, and then starts to unclick his plastoid armor. Slightly entranced, you can’t seem to look away. And when you look up at his face, you find his eyes never leaving your face. A heat that’s hotter than the sun creeps through your veins at the realization. 

Your mouth goes dry the moment he strips down to just his briefs, causing you to quickly look away toward the horizon as he sits next to you on the blanket. You’d never seen a clone without clothes before, but you know you’re never gonna forget how toned Wolffe is. How his tanned skin practically gleams in the bright sun. 

There’s always been a sort of trust between you and Wolffe. He didn’t find you incompetent like a lot of the Jedi. He’d never say as much, but he didn’t trust many of them. Perhaps just you, Master Plo Koon, and Master Kenobi. But you always felt there was possibly something more than trust between the two of you. It could just be in your head, though. 

“I wish I could see this every day.” You murmur, crossing your legs. 

“I hate the ocean.” Wolffe tells you, honestly.

“Why’s that?” You ask, looking at him.

His eyes, one brown, one cybernetic, are focused on yours. 

“Reminds me of Kamino.” He shrugs.

You suppose that’s understandable. You’d only heard rumors of the extensiveness that the higher rank clones had to go through. 

“So, swimming with me is off the table?” You ask, smiling. 

His face is serious as ever as he looks out at the calm waves. “Not safe.” 

“Can you see that with that eye of yours?” You tease. 

He smirks, amused. “Sure.” 

You let out a disappointed huff and fall back on the blanket, letting the warm sun wash over you. When you open your eyes, landing on Wolffe, you notice him staring at your bare stomach. Immediately self conscious, you cross your arms over your stomach but his hands stop you. 

“Don’t.” He murmurs, softly. 

“What?” Your mouth goes dry again.

“Don’t cover up…” He whispers, placing your wrist to your side. “You don’t need to do that. Not with me.”

“O-okay.” You can’t look away from him now. 

You sense desire roll over him and if you weren’t already laying down, you’re pretty sure the full force of his desire would be enough to knock you over. Does he know that you can sense these things? Surely with Plo Koon as his general, he does. 

“Wolffe?” You whisper, softly. 

He’s looking at your lips now and the absolute fire that was coursing through your veins only moments ago makes its way much, much lower. With parted lips, you reach up for Wolffe, ghosting your fingers down his muscular bicep. He stops your hand with his own and holds it there. 

You’re not sure how long you stare at each other like that. Can he sense the desire radiating from you? Does he know you well enough by now? You hope so.

A beeping comes from both your comms, indicating you’re needed back at base. With a breathless, yet annoyed, huff, Wolffe lets go of your hand and pressing the button on both of your comms to let them know you both got the message. 

He stands up and hands you your clothing, turning around to give you a moment of privacy while he also dresses and clicks his armor into place. The intimate moment between you is long gone as you realize you have to go back to reality. 

As you pack the blanket back up, grabbing your pack, you look back out at the ocean for another moment and when you turn around, you find Wolffe staring at you again. 

“Wha-” You start but he cuts you off by running his hand around your lower back to pull you against himself. 

You look up into his eyes and realize he’s waiting for you to tell him to stop, but you want this just as bad, if not more. 

“Please…” You whisper, glancing at his lips.

That’s all the confirmation he needed as he gently brushes his lips over yours. It’s not exactly what you were expecting. You were expecting quick roughness. Like his fighting style. This is… leisurely soft. Like he has all the time in the world to do this. You wish you did. Finding yourself kissing him back, you drop your pack back into the sand and wrap your arms around his neck, clinging to him. To this moment. 

“I’ve… wanted to do that for some time now… Commander.” He smiles ever so slightly. 

“I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t been thinking about it as well.” You smile up at him, cupping his cheek, softly. 

He rests his head against yours for just a moment and then lets go of you. “We should head back.” 

You nod in agreement and pick your pack up as he picks his helmet up out of the sand, dusting it off and tucking it under his arm as you start your trekk back through the woods. 

Then, Wolffe surprises you again. He offers his free arm and you can’t help the little flip in your stomach as you hide your smile and take it, wrapping your hands around the cool plastoid. How is it so cool after being in the sunlight? 

You want to ask him so many things. But you know he’s a man of few words, and you definitely don’t want to annoy him. 

“Can I ask you something?” He surprises you again and asks. 

“Oh. Of course.” You nod. 

“Did you know?” He asks, looking down at you.

“Know what?” You give him a confused look.

“About my feelings for you?” He stops to stand in front of you. 

“I um… had my suspicions… in a way.” You smile up at him, taking his hand. 

He nods. “I’m not used to this…” 

“I know. It’s okay. I wouldn’t change a thing about you, Wolffe.” You start walking back toward the base, seeing it just through the treeline. 

He falls in step next to you again. “Maybe… we could continue our moment later tonight?” 

“I’d like that very much.” You can’t seem to stop smiling.

When you return to base, you’re needed immediately in the briefing tent and yet… your mind can’t help but linger on that moment with Wolffe on the beach and what tonight could hold for the two of you.

Shipwrecked and stranded on a remote agricultural planet, Barriss Offee doesn't dare reveal her identity as a Jedi for fear of drawing unwanted attention that might endanger the younglings in her care. Enter the charming, compassionate young spacer Ashla, who drops everything to take the group under her protection and asks nothing in return, as Barriss grows more and more unhappy with the necessity of lying to a young woman who's been nothing but honest with them. Meanwhile, Ahsoka Tano and her master are on an undercover mission. She really wishes she could tell the scared young mother she's taken in that she's a Jedi, but, well. The mission has to come first.

A hyperdrive malfunction strands Ahsoka in a nearly-abandoned trading settlement in the Outer Rim. That's not the problem. While she works off her community service sentence, she ends up in the unofficial custody of a weirdly hostile Mirialan who won't stop giving her these long, searching looks and talking about the failures of the Jedi Order like she knows something Ahsoka doesn't. That's not the problem either. The problem is...Ahsoka's starting to wonder if she really wants to go back.

Jedi Master Plo Koon was sent to Shili to retrieve a Force-sensitive youngling...and arrived just a few hours too late. Years later, a Jedi padawan and an indentured bounty hunter find themselves in the same spaceport. They shouldn't be friends, not really, but...they're more alike than they are different, straining under the weight of roles they can't escape. That bond is stronger than the galaxy's expectations. Until it isn't.
