.☘︎ ݁˖— “Taller than you?! Oh my, that's really big. I don't think I could handle a pet bigger than me!” She looks back down at the cat, quite surprised as her hands find their way back in between all that fluff. She wasn't very tall by any means, unsure if she would be growing anymore as she was still trying to study her own biology. 

She crosses her legs as she listens to Harmony's amusement and suggestions, lightly kicking up with her legs as she couldn't help but let out a sigh. She had tried just about anything and it was frustrating to not be able to do the same as her peers in class, but she tried her best on figuring things out on her own.

.☘︎ ݁˖— “I've tried ankle weights before, but it's not something they would let me use in competitions—plus it throws off my balance, so I can't really do my fancy tricks. Trust me, I have tried sooooo many things. I have tried to build muscle through strength training, I can lift quite a bit but I guess it doesn't work the same with my body.” She lifts her arm, trying to flex but it was just as skinny and soft as the rest of her. “I've tried putting on weight, too! But I don't seem to be able to gain any, which is… weird. So at the moment I'm just trying to do research on my race… it hasn't really taken me anywhere.”

“Yeh. I found him on our porch when he was only a baby and we bottle fed him. He’s socialized cuz everybody at the Inn used t’ spoil him.” A pause to point at the way Blossom’s hands were currently resting in the purring cat’s fur. “Just like that. He’s a Maine Coon and his breed can get taller than me when full grown. He ain’t quite there yet but he also mighta been the runt.”

All in all, the feline didn’t care at all about what the girls were talking about. Just that one of them continued to pet him while they sat by the fireplace. Despite his intimidating size, to some, he was as sweet as could be. The only time one would see why he got the name he did, was when someone tried something they shouldn’t.

Harmony’s gaze went to the shoes, eyes wide as the skates appeared. “Whoa! That’s so cool!”

But then came the conundrum. The teen placed a bent finger to her lip with a hum, brows furrowing in thought. A moment passed, with a headbutt to the side of her head from Fafo before she had an idea. “Have ya thought about tryin’ ankle weights? I use ‘em when I’m trainin’ with my teammates and they help me a lot with controllin’ my strength.”

⋆⭒˚☾⋆.˚—That red eye, once pinned on the hedgehog, now slowly drifts down to the floor as he goes on about her question. He did have a point. What else could she even expect? Why did she keep seeking Shadows when they were so hateful towards her species?

“...No, I don't expect anything from hybrids like you.” She spits, though that tone was too subdued to feel angry. “You deny the side that gives you power, our blood, when you bring your friends and family up. That old man is as much my father as he is yours.. as much as I hate him, too.”

 ⋆⭒˚☾⋆.˚— She stays sitting down on the ground, though she doesn't press on her own head anymore. It hurt quite a bit after a little while. “Can I ask you one more question...? What does the word monster mean to you?”

Seemed he had proved a point, chuckling to himself with a smug smirk. He'd accomplished what he'd sought to do, so there was no longer a reason to keep up the vicious act. She'd backed down from her mocking words, so he would, too. Her seeming to hold her head down to her shoulders gave him a great sense of morbid satisfaction.

"My problem?" He reiterated, brows raised with a mock surprise. The question was laughable. "Oh, darling. You'd asked me something intending to elicit a reaction, and you received just that. What else did you expect: me to drop to my knees and apologize? To say I'm sorry for protecting my home and family from a megalomaniac intent on conquering our world and using its inhabitants as a meal for his mindless drones? You'd be sorely mistaken."

He'd pointedly ignored the comment about larva; he thought all of those creatures were hideous. A hedgehog as handsome as he was could have never spawned from an insignificant little grub that revolting!
