Post-Quest Look - Frodo in Valinor

I decided I'd take a stab at what Frodo might wear in Valinor, or rather how his clothing would appear. I have this idea that reality is a little different there. Residents of the Undying Lands don't "wear clothes" as much their being manifests there along with the appearance of clothing.

Frodo's waistcoats are made of warm light, ethereal with floral decoration.

I tried like hell to find a waistcoat similar to the one he wore at the Grey Havens. It was clearly specifically chosen by the costumer to enhance the blue in Elijah's eyes, and represent Frodo's transition into another life in a kind of spiritual plane. It's a beautiful silvery, ethereal, grey-blue.

This is the best swatch I could find that had a similar effect.

I like this so much because it combines that beautiful, misty blue with the warm, creamy gold.
