I'm really getting annoyed with the "Oh you expected a pure cinnamon roll in a Souls game like an idiot and your headcanon was wrong and that's why you’re mad and also why your opinion about Shadow of the Erdtree's story is invalid" discourse.

I love the tragedy of Miquella losing everything he is in his attempt to attain godhood and save his sister/the world/etc

But the execution of that was absolute dogshit and came off like Fromsoft doing fanservice badly imo

There are things about the DLC's story that are done very well. Miquella’s arc was not one of them and I don't just think that because my headcanon was wrong.

THE POLYCULE: 

i. Khaos's tattered cape and one of Phainon's shirts, or sometimes just Phainon's cape without the shoulderguard: Kaeya is a serial thief of clothes, and both these poor souls living together have experienced it multiple occasions. Kaeya will often be found asleep curled wearing one and holding onto the other, if left to his devices for long. 

ii. I imagine that, for specific reasons, Khaos has very few chances to go out and take a stroll with the ease Phainon and Kaeya can. For this injustice, these two have come up with the idea of bringing them a little trinket to make them feel more involved. They don't decide which one based on a solid decision and a discussion among themselves- they see an object at the market, or in a forgery, periwinkle meets cerulean with their shared braincell connecting, and there's a very known sparkle in their pupils that means we get to torment them a little and a grin traded between them. The trinket is almost always something ridiculous both Phainon and Kaeya take great pride in presenting Khaos with!!!

iii. As we were discussing yesterday? Kaeya's chat with Phainon: cute memes, sending eachother cats or dogs or animals cuddling with Kaeya quoting them with ''us <3'', extremely cheesy texts. Kaeya's chats with Khaos: him being a menace to them, Khaos's brand of wonderfully dry humor that essentially makes their conversations pure meme, Kaeya threatening to bonk them for saying something mean and memes of cats biting eachother or their owners with ''us <3 I'm the one biting you. General GrumpTastic''. Somehow both chats give the IMMEDIATE vibes that they're all together.

KHAOS:

iv. The intensity and passion of what Kaeya experiences with Khaos is something incredibly new to him. While Khaos is a fragment of Phainon, their way of being, of loving Kaeya, is distinct to each of them- only Khaos, of easy nips and bites and smug teases, can draw pleas and dirty little things out of Kaeya's mouth and certaint reactions out of him with extraordinary ease. It leaves him feeling deeply sated, knowing he's so wanted that hands can't be kept off him for long. He also considers this passion a fact that Khaos has still retained their humanity- how can someone wanting Kaeya so deeply be inhuman, cold? He finds Khaos wonderfully warm, so wonderfully teasing and proud of it in a way that's remarkably human-esque........

v. (Fanning myself after the first spicy headcanon) We already talked about this but it's so funny: as Khaos's Significant Annoyance, it's Kaeya's special priviledge to pinch their cheeks and either squish those together or pull to make them do a funny face. ZERO survival instinct, 100% living to lovingly annoying them knowing he'll get away with it <3

PHAINON:

vi. So much physical contact... god, those two are starved for it, and for emotional closeness. Starved, I say. If Phainon is always finding ways to touch Kaeya, Kaeya is always finding ways to press against them, to hold their hand, around their arm, to melt in their arms. This is the best (and first, in their verse) and most loving relationship Kaeya ever had,,,,,, touches as means to preserve some of their sanity,,,,,,,,

vii. If Phainon ever gave Kaeya flowers, at least one of those has survived in a cocoon of Ice Kaeya surrounded it with and that's unexplicably with him all the time. His first flowers.......... if he thinks about it, he still blushes.........

viii. AGGRESSIVELY against Phainon wearing shirts of any sorts. Banned. Forbidden. He actively whines at Phainon if they try to wear a shirt around him. Titties in the air and relaxed at their home, or he'll rip that shirt off them himself.
