You know what I find the most irritating about the entire Sussex thing?

It's that I am 100% sure that if Harry we're to file for divorce and go back with his tail between his legs and "oh it was all her, she got in my head", he would be back into the fold right that second.

And you know what would be even worse? That people (regular citizens, not the royals) would celebrate and be so happy that "hero Harry" is back, the rota would be even worse drooling for the return of the prodigal son.

Obviously I mean while Charles is King, so if Harry wants the comforts of royal life back, I wouldn't wait too long.

The public will welcome Harry back but I don’t think they’d do it that willingly or that easily. It depends on William. If William supports Harry coming back, then the public will support it too. If William doesn’t support it, then the public won’t.

And Charles and Harry both know that, because Harry is back on “big mean Willy is keeping me from my destiny” PR. They’re trying to get the public to turn against William so they’ll support Harry coming back.

The small segment of the public that supports Charles will support Harry coming back, as will some Diana supporters, but those numbers are dwarfed by how much support William has and how many people get their cues for the BRF from William (and Kate).

Okay no I'm imagining like. Obvs 1-A would have their own show and the teachers would have their separate show with occasional getting dragged into other shit(at least until 1-A are grown adults in their own right and the boundries of what is 'appropriate' get changed but that's a bit off).

So ya know how in CC I established that friendship with Midnight and Snipe? So now I'm imagining them with their own little show of shenanigans like the ones I mentioned in the last post. And they're the default but they bring in other Pro Heroes to be involved.

Present Mic is a pretty regular guest when he's not busy with his own radio show, but they've had a lot of Heroes and most of UA's staff on. Aizawa has been on the show and every time it looks like they're holding him hostage(they might be tbh)

AND YEAH JUST NOW ALL MIGHT AND THE MOREO

They. They didn't /intend/ for that to happen. It was supposed to be a normal 'let's test taste all the Oreo flavors!'.

Then they decided to take the Oreos apart and make the big stack ones. And they're like 'okay contest to see how fast we can eat this bitch!'.

Midnight and Snipe to the sane thing of just taking large bites and then All Might just Does That™ and the whole show grinds to a fucking halt while Midnight and Snipe are in the background like

and then yeah when the episode gets uploaded.

None of the students at UA can make eye contact with All Might for a week.

Several fanfic authors are validated and inspired, ao3 is flooded with new content within half an hour of the video being posted.

Halfway across the world, David Shield watches that and is never going to fucking recover.

Harry’s Birthday Weekend PR

Don’t mind me, I’m just making a list here…

Before we get into it, the Emmys are tomorrow so any exclusive attention Harry or Meghan might get will be quickly pushed out of the news cycle by the red carpet. (If you're not familiar, the Emmys are the E in EGOT and recognize accomplishment in television. This year's ceremony is hosted by Eugene and Dan Levy and will mark the 25th anniversary of one of my favorite shows of all-time, The West Wing.)

I wholeheartedly endorse people getting to know each other, maybe even falling in love, and living happily ever after, but there is absolutely something about the way Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner have handled their budding romance that truly gives me the ick, as the kids say.

I think you nailed it, Anon.

But here’s where we might disagree (prepare yourself):

I’m not really seeing those dead eyes. He looks to be enjoying himself imho. His movements appear natural and his demeanor seems relaxed and comfortable around her.

FWIW, we may see this scenario from different vantage points, because we are different people, and that’s ok. It’s no secret to anyone familiar with my blog that I leave room for skepticism when seeking the truth about something, so kindly please indulge me my point of view, in light of the evidence that I see in front of me.

Whether or not he’s simply leveled up his PR romance game or he really enjoys Ms. Jenner’s company remains to be seen and haters, I totally understand that this is clearly none of my business and has no material effect on my real-world life whatsoever.

But what we do see clearly is that they are both so obvious about really “selling” it, true love or not. Pitching the romance is the point, not the romance itself.

It’s just business, baby. Even if it isn’t, they seem to be making the effort to make it look like that.

And that’s what’s so icky to me.

Authentic relationships forged by simple mutual admiration and affection don’t generally need press releases and repetitive articles reminding everyone every two weeks for months on end that they’re just “casual” and getting to know each other and have no time to be seen together, but are seen together nonetheless, but only in cryptozoological aerial drone film footage, or in driveway games conveniently snapped by paparazzi, and up until yesterday, from only Ms. Jenner’s point of view, these two people who attract the whole world’s attention wherever they go, in order to grow and thrive.

Maybe I’m just being cynical, Anon, but I get less than sincere vibes from all the ludicrous cloak-and-dagger PR shenanigans surrounding this burgeoning alliance seemingly designed specifically to grab the public’s attention.

Couldn’t they have just lived their lives, neither hiding from the press nor pandering to it, to let love blossom in a less contrived way? Being spotted out at dinner, hanging out with friends, or a multitude of other more ordinary things couples do, even famous ones, when getting to know each other would’ve negated the need for all that artificially-enhanced press coverage that no one ever asked for.

I think they would have more support from the public had they not so ham-handedly manipulated the situation in the hopes of guaranteeing this specific sort of attention. It is indeed hilarious and kind of sad tbh that these two grown adults seem to think that no one will notice that they’re playing these games.

It’s almost like they want us to know it’s all a game. 🤔🤔🤔
