i made some quick edits to pre-void rob's design (but if he asks, tell him i love him just the way he is)

i removed unnecessary wrinkles and lines, made his hands connect with his arms better, removed the weird flair at the bottom of his shirt, and made his bookbag straps go over his shoulders so they would make sense

#PONIFIED ROB ATTACK!!!!!!!!!#the amazing world of gumball #tawog rob #mlp #my little pony #character desing #my art #OoOok so #As I said in other posts before I had this crossover in my mind for a looong time #I already had somethings in mind like Rob being an earth pony (since he's “boring”)#Gumball would also be an earth pony qnd he would complain not being an unicorn or a pegasus because they have magic and can fly #BUT THIS IS ABOUT ROB DON'T GET DISTRACTED YUR #*ahem* so back on earth #I was struggling I tiny bit (a lot) with his head in different angles (that's something every Rob has in every Au. His head is complicated)#I was having a hard time too deciding how I wanted the static to look like #I wanted to make it the way I draw static normally (black lines that change depending on the emotional state of Rob)#but it looked off compared to the rest of the drawing #I also thought of a png but I wanted to suffer a little bit so I made it myself #For once I went with harsh shadows with very strong colors (like shadowing with red for yellow or fuccia for red)#and I really really really like it :3 i'm so proud of myself!!#i'm still unsure about the lore but I tgink it would be just Tawog but every character is a pony or a species from Mlp #like for example Penny being a Changeling and discover her true form thanks to Gumball #amd because she's a Changeling some things would change compared to the original series so it matches up with this universe #but i'm talking too much now lol #I may or not also make pre-void Rob #ixbsosbdiwbfisbabdbjd

if i told you about a character who should have been a normal kid going to school but the universe decided he was a mistake and should never have been made and transported him to a liminal in-between pocket of hellish nothingness where all the world's mistakes were consigned, and living things there should have been frozen but he was awake and conscious, and when the heroes came to rescue another "mistake" they didn't even realize he was there and left him to rot, but he clung to their vehicle on the way out of the pocket hell dimension and was disfigured and permanently changed and robbed of his memories because of it until he was reminded by the heroes who then abandoned him and left him to become a villain out of necessity.................... no way you aren't DYING to know what incredible piece of fiction you've somehow missed out on, where can you find it, you want to be emotionally and psychically destroyed by this character. and i would have to tell you that he's a minor character named rob from cartoon network's cartoon the amazing world of gumball.

#who somehow has a degree despite spending most of his time pre-void in highschool?#doesnt matter time doesn't exist here #anyway sometimes i think about the Concept of rob theamazingworldofgumball and feel a little insane #like. why did they burn that character concept on. a cartoon for ten year olds.#dont get me wrong i think tawog is brilliant and one of a kind #but rob belongs in a doorstopper fantasy series where all this fridge horror can be properly explored

I got the hand of drawing pre void rob he's got that bright twinkle in his eye and a cool hair texture tbh; I found that drawing the part makes it look less goofy!! wow. His season 1 design looks like a Skylander nice and soulless just like any well rounded middle schooler.

In my epic dreamscape I dreamt of a murder mystery EP. of adventure time where tiny manticore and Timmy are just playing before panning over to a dead body very wholesome. They where very cute together. I think tiny deserves to act like a straight up cat sometimes

How would you feel if rob went back to his orginial design after the void plotline being resolved.

ooh 🤔

well i could see it being possible in-universe with banana barbara's ability to paint anything. even if rob doesn't remember what he looked like, she probably does because she's weird like that lol

but is it likely to happen out-of-universe? as in, should the writers make that happen? pre-void rob wasn't made to be a prominent character. he was designed to look Okay and to blend into the background when he wasn't the focus.

i don't hate pre-void rob but i think it would be a downgrade for him to revert back to normal given his new status as an important anti-hero. his current design is more visually interesting and appealing

it would also kind of send the wrong message that he needs to be "fixed" instead of learning to love himself for how he looks /nm
