"Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you." (Nietzsche, Beyond Good and Evil: Prelude to a Philosophy of the Future, 1886).
“When you spend so long trapped in darkness, you find that the darkness begins to stare back.” (Maas, A Court of Mist and Fury, 2016).
speaking of sjm plagiarism (i didnt even notice those you mentioned but ugh) that one quote where feyre talks about staring into the darkness or whatever is almost exactly like the Nietzsche quote except her says abyss :/
EXACTLY!! I noticed that too

"A Happy Moment" - Anaxagorus x Astrologist! Reader This particular track is characterized by its gentle melodies and harmonious arrangements, which together evoke feelings of tranquility and introspection. It's the kind of piece that might accompany a poignant scene between them and serve as a backdrop for moments of reflection. <3
“The Future will Understand Us”
Summary: The world roared louder when he spoke—wild, defiant, and fierce as dawn breaking through storm clouds. Before the fall of the Grove and the firestorm of accusations, Anaxagoras was a force of nature you couldn’t help but love. Together, you shared stolen nights beneath forbidden knowledge and whispered truths beneath star-studded skies. Through rebellion and broken walls, through grief and quiet moments of unexpected tenderness, your bond became an unshakable anchor. Against the cruel weight of prophecy and the gods’ gaze, you found in each other a fragile refuge. Though he died a thousand deaths before the final one, you carry his memory—defiant, brilliant, and achingly alive—in the silence between the stars.

Warnings: Themes of death and grief, Implied past enslavement and emotional trauma, Religious and academic persecution, Body modification (eyepatch, tattoos from experiments), References to experimentation on the soul, Hints of war, child endangerment (non-graphic), Emotional vulnerability and intimacy, Mild language, Bittersweet ending/prelude to canon character death.

The world was always louder when he spoke.
Even before the war of thoughts, before the tribunal accused him of blasphemy and treason, before the Grove collapsed under the weight of prophecy and ambition — Anaxagoras spoke like the sky breaking open at dawn. Wild. Free. Terrifying. Divine.
And you loved him for it.
You remember a night gilded by starlight, long before the fires. There had been a lecture — not one sanctioned by the Grove, of course. One of his unsanctioned symposiums deep within the library’s forbidden wing. Titan dissections diagrammed in chalk on the stone floor, soul-fusion theories sprawling across parchment.
You had entered unnoticed, your young charge asleep in your arms, until you asked him:
"What if the stars disagree with you?"
He had stopped mid-sentence.
His head tilted, ponytail shifting like silk over his shoulder, and that one visible eye — the one that still shimmered with reckless clarity — locked on yours.
"Then I shall argue with them," he said, grinning like a heretic under moonlight. "They, at least, have the decency to be brilliant in their defiance."
There was a festival once. A celestial convergence — five planets aligned perfectly in the heavens, a sight that would not return for another two centuries.
You had taken him with you, disguised among the crowd.
It was laughable, truly. Anaxagoras — the Demised Scholar, the fallen golden boy of the Grove — hiding beneath a traveler's cloak and wide-brimmed hat. Still, he complained less than expected.
"This is beneath me," he said, brushing crumbs from his lap. "That child just wiped jam on my cloak."
"You're enjoying this," you replied.
He didn’t deny it.
Later, beneath the star-kissed dome of the sky, he held your hand. Not in passion. Not in desperation. Just held it. Like it was his anchor. Like you were.
There were darker nights, too.
When they tricked you — used the child as bait to silence your rage.
You shattered three walls and bled on the temple floor before they forced your surrender.
Anaxagoras found you there, broken but breathing. He said nothing for a long while. Then he knelt and touched your hand. Not your wounds. Your hand. That was when you cried.
"They will pay," he said simply.
You knew then: he would not rest until they did.
In the observatory you built together, tucked in the ruins of a temple abandoned by gods and men, he traced constellations onto your back with ink-stained fingers.
"You’ve always been a galaxy," he murmured, voice quieter now. The bravado dulled, but not extinguished. "And I—an errant comet, foolish enough to fall in love with one."
You laughed. You kissed him.
And in the silence that followed, you allowed yourself to believe the world might allow this. That the gods wouldn’t notice. That prophecy would forget to arrive.
He died a thousand deaths before the final one.
Each theory rejected. Each student lost. Each lie he told himself.
But you—
You remember him beneath the stars. His hands cradling your cheek. His voice soft. His defiance — momentarily— at peace.
"I found truth in you," he whispered.
And for one heartbeat, the war ended.
It was a happy moment.
One you never told anyone else about.

While I appreciate and admire Haytham Kenway as a character, his actions have caused long-term, irreparable damage to the perception of the Assassins within the community, tainting their intentions, goals, and the overall messaging of their eternal war with the Templars.
(And I certainly intend to eventually break down how the Colonial Rite in AC3 is NOT what it appears to be...)
But back to Haytham:
It's crucial to highlight that a majority of Haytham's arguments are fundamentally fatalistic at best and utterly cynical at worst. Unlike the other paranoid and obsessive members of his order, Haytham represents another reason the Templars have endured for so long.

Just as George Washington, Sam Adams, and the rest of the Founding Fathers symbolized a prelude to America's two-faced nature in both domestic and (eventually) global affairs, Haytham and his rite also served as a precursor to a lot of the tactics and machinations that future power-seeking populists in the nation would use to prey on people's misfortunes and desires for profit or manipulation. ['Public Execution' Transcript]

Thomas Hickey: "How should I know? The Templars. Lee. The big man, Haytham. They 'as the money. They 'as the power. That's the reason I threw in with 'em. That's the ONLY reason. Sure, they 'ave some sort of vision, for the future too. I didn't give a damn about any of that. They can sing their songs about mankind and its troubles. They can make their plans and spring their traps, don't bother me none. They paid me so I said yes. Didn't bother to ask who or how or why. Didn't care." What is more: He is a complete hypocrite. Within the same rooftop scene, Haytham notably criticizes the Founding Fathers for using evasive rhetoric and "pretty words," yet are the Templars also not guilty of the same, only more effectively? He proclaims to not "feign affection," but does exactly that in a fruitless final attempt to sway Connor with the reveal of Washington burning his village.
(And that's not even getting into his other morally reprehensive acts.)

It is evidently clear that the narrative subtly indicates that Haytham is in the wrong, but due to his portrayal being that of a slightly charming figure, his authoritarian nature and fascist tendencies are swept under the surface with him being often falsely perceived as a sort of moral paragon or righteous figure in the eyes of many.

And It concerns me how people unironically fall for this rhetoric. For a brief moment, we see Haytham's "mask" slip completely when he nearly chokes Connor to death while monologuing revealing his most veritable self as this utterly sadistic and unhinged Templar like we've seen in the series up until that point. At the core: Haytham is less of a representative of Templar righteousness as he completely embodies the sheer allure and convincing nature of the Templar philosophy, highlighting its appeal to many despite its fundamental flaws.
#assassin's creed#assassin’s creed 3#haytham kenway#connor kenway#ratonhnhaké:ton#templar#templar assassin#been meaning to dissect Haytham for awhile now#I do like Haytham#But a lot of the arguments surrounding him are tiring and concerning

Hello! I’m interested in checking out your work, but all I can find is the prelude to After the Hero. Is anything else publicly available?
I don't have much published fiction, sadly! I'm a slow-cooker kind of artist. Besides the Prelude to After The Hero, I have two other published fictional works at present, both of which are under the umbrella of my fantasy series The Curious Tale:
The Great Galavar is, like the Prelude, one of the "Interludes" or satellite-works to the main After The Hero story. This work tells the story of Galavar, one of the main characters in After The Hero. It is presently unfinished and on hiatus. I was publishing it as a weekly serial back in the mid-2010s and I stopped due to life hardships, and haven't yet gotten back to it in favor of working on the main novel instead. (I do, however, plan to finish it in the future.)
The other fictional work is Empire on Ice, which is a sketch comedy series that uses the same cast as After The Hero but in an alternate reality where After The Hero is a movie that they are all making together. It was published in the form of written screenplays. Empire on Ice was another weekly feature back in the mid-2010s that got put on hiatus when life went haywire for me. Since it isn't an overarching story, it wouldn't make sense to call it "finished" or "unfinished," but I will say that I do not consider the project "concluded," i.e., it would be nice to get back to it at some point if I can.
(Note: My website is pretty outdated and doesn't have one of those security certificates that are standard on the web these days, i.e. is http rather than https, so your browser might give you a security warning if you click on any of these links, but, for whatever the word of a Tumblr stranger is worth to you, my site is totally harmless—except of course for my world-bending ideas and philosophy, lol.)
So, that's the bad news: There's not much fiction to read so far. Though, if you like worldbuilding commentary, I also had a weekly series called Curious Tale Saturdays where I talked about the fictional world of Relance in great detail. This series also went on hiatus when disaster struck for me back in the 2010s, though it lives on in a reduced form over at my Patreon, where I sometimes write worldbuilding essays—most of which become free for anyone to read after a 3-day exclusive period for patrons. And I also write worldbuilding essays here on Tumblr sometimes. You can follow the tags on this post to see more.
The good news, meanwhile, is that I have not one but two novels officially in the works: Chapter 1 of After The Hero: A Curious Tale, and the first novel in a science fiction series called Galaxy Federal. I don't have ETAs on either of these books yet, except that they won't be done in the short-term future.
I also have other projects I am working on.
If you stick around, I hope to be able to make some relevant announcements later this year. (In fact there will be a non-fiction announcement in the next week or two!)

Honda Revives the Prelude: A Hybrid Hypercar for a New Era
"Honda Fans praises the New Sleek hybrid sport coupe"

First introduced in 1978, the Prelude carved out a distinct identity for itself in Honda’s lineup. With innovations like four-wheel steering and a focus on driver engagement, it stood as a bold expression of performance and style. Though discontinued in 2001, its legacy lingered—until now.
Once a symbol of sporty sophistication in the '80s and '90s, the Honda Prelude captured hearts with its sleek design, nimble handling, and forward-thinking technology. Now, nearly five decades after its debut, Honda has reignited that spirit with the rebirth of the Prelude—this time as a modern hybrid coupe.
The 2026 Prelude features a dual-motor hybrid system powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine acting as a generator, supplying energy to the electric motors and battery. This setup delivers approximately 200 horsepower and 232 lb-ft of torque, offering spirited acceleration and responsive handling. Honda's innovative "S+ Shift" technology simulates gear changes, providing drivers with an engaging experience reminiscent of traditional automatic transmissions.
Design-wise, the new Prelude draws inspiration from Honda's 2023 Tokyo concept car, showcasing a sleek, low-slung profile with athletic lines. Inside, the cabin merges elements from the Civic and Acura Integra, featuring a tablet-style infotainment screen and a driver-focused layout that emphasizes clarity and functionality.
This modern iteration of the Prelude embodies Honda's vision of combining excitement with sustainability, offering a driving experience that honors its legacy while embracing the future of Driving.
The new Honda Prelude isn't technically a hypercar by traditional standards, but it is a hybrid sports coupe with advanced features that echo hypercar innovations. Here's what gives it that elevated status in the hybrid performance world:

1. Hybrid Powertrain Efficiency
It uses a dual-motor hybrid system: a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine acts mainly as a generator while electric motors drive the wheels. This is similar to the series hybrid layout seen in high-end performance cars focused on maximizing both efficiency and response.
2. Instant Electric Torque
Electric motors deliver immediate torque, giving the Prelude sharp acceleration and responsiveness—traits found in many modern hypercars like the Ferrari SF90 or McLaren Artura, which also use hybrid-electric systems.
3. "S+ Shift" Transmission Simulation
This system mimics the feel of a traditional automatic gearbox, giving drivers a more engaging, performance-focused experience—important for enthusiasts who want driving feel without sacrificing modern tech.
4. Design & Aerodynamics
It features a low-slung, sleek body reminiscent of concept cars, with attention to aerodynamic styling that improves performance and efficiency—hallmarks of hypercar engineering.
5. Technological Innovation
It’s built on the same philosophy that drives hypercars: blend sustainability with high performance. While not delivering 1000+ horsepower, the Prelude showcases how cutting-edge hybrid systems can redefine performance for a new generation.
In short, the Prelude earns its “hybrid hypercar” nickname not through raw specs alone, but by combining sporty performance, future-forward design, and hybrid innovation in a way that’s accessible and thrilling—a step toward democratizing the hypercar ethos.
Real Talk – "What Drivers Are Saying" Prelude to the Future – Voices from the Street & the Strip
“A New Classic”
Alex M. – Car Enthusiast, 34 – San Diego, CA
"I grew up watching my older brother cruise in a '92 Prelude, so when I saw Honda was bringing it back, I had to check it out. The hybrid system blew me away—instant torque, smooth acceleration, and it still feels like a true driver’s car. This isn’t just a reboot; it’s evolution done right, and The return of a Legend indeed."
“My First Hybrid, and I’m Hooked”
Tina L. – First-Time Hybrid Buyer, 29 – Portland, OR
"I didn’t think hybrids could be fun until now. The new Prelude has serious style, feels great on the road, and the tech inside makes it feel like the future. It’s sporty but responsible—and that’s exactly what I wanted."
“Legacy Meets Innovation”
Marcus R. – Collector, 47 – Houston, TX
"As someone who owns an '88 Prelude Si, I was skeptical—but the new model won me over fast. It’s not just a tribute—it’s a spiritual successor with brains and brawn. I preordered mine within a week."
“Track-Ready Tech”
Jayden K. – Tuner & Track Day Regular, 25 – Atlanta, GA
"The handling’s tight, and the hybrid setup delivers real performance. That S+ Shift system adds so much fun. This Prelude has tuner potential all over it—Honda really gave us something to build with."

A) Kalergi Plan; The Extinction Of The White Race
Topics Politics, Europe
Item Size 420.8M
"The man of the future will be race-mixed."
—Richard Coudenhove-Kalergi
The Kalergi Plan consists of the genocide of white people through miscegenation and mass immigration of non-whites to Europe. This plan, drawn up in 1923 by Count Richard Kalergi, is inspired by human mastery over farm animals. It seeks to generate a passive, tame, predictable and manipulable mixed race, of inferior character and intelligence, over which the Jewish aristocratic elite could eternally rule, since this inferior mind would prevent them from organizing to rebel, and even realize that they are dominated.
The term Eurasian-Negroid race can be found in Kalergi's books. That is what the Suprematist Zionists are desperately trying to achieve. The extinction of all cultures and races, particularly the European. Kalergi shared the opinion of Joseph Arthur de Gobineau on the high performance of the white race, especially the Nordic sub-race, but did not aspire to the promotion, conservation and strengthening of it, but its destruction.
Hitler was aware of Kalergi's plan and did everything in his power to prevent it. Like Gobineau, Hitler considered the Aryan race to be the noblest, the best armed for the struggle for existence, the most beautiful, the most energetic, and the one with the greatest amount of creative genius. What this race lost by mixing it was not compensated by what the others gained by ennoblement. " It has always happened that the decline of civilizations has occurred because they contaminated their blood. This is the inexorable Law.
For National Socialism, the cultural integrity of European peoples can only be achieved through Rassenseele's idea, "religion in the blood." The idea of race unifies people spiritually and supreme values such as heroism and honor can be achieved. Through the instrument of Marxism, Zionism wants to destroy EVERYTHING; race, nation, religion, property, family, culture, art… you name it. It is clear that they hope to achieve an internal collapse in Western society, giving the "chosen people" universal triumph. The ultimate achievement is an inferior human class, easily governable and without any cultural ties, identity or character.
“Prussia was conceived as a state where the national guiding principle was honor, where the family was organized around the authoritarian and exemplary figure of the father. It was a full-blooded society grounded in deeply ingrained notions of duty, thrift, and stricter military discipline. And along with the art of war, philosophy, literature, music were cultivated. But none of this revolution happened by chance: the Einherjar Order fostered it, awaiting the arrival of the Great Leader of the White Race.
The presence of the Order is not unrelated to the subsequent emergence of the House of Branderburg (a collateral lineage of the Hohenzollern). Prussia was the prelude to the New Order that the Führer, in his next coming, would apply to all of Germany and to the world. That is why Hitler never concealed his debt to Prussia and made public his sympathy for Frederick II of Prussia and Bismarck, the Iron Chancellor."
Secret history of the Thule-Gesellschaft
This sounds like America. The Republicans have certain Americans under the above spell, while the Democrats have the same effect on their voters.
Then Christianity and Islam produce the same effect.
Not speaking negatively of the above institutions, its the way the institutions are used to control the thoughts and actions of the American people.

Rooted in Sikh philosophy, the mantra "Sachee Dharam Karan Keejaai" invites us to perform actions with integrity and righteousness. This exploration delves into the profound spiritual significance of Kirat Karni and its universal relevance, resonating with the hearts and minds of LinkedIn's readership.
Kirat Karni: Beyond Financial Transactions:
At its core, Kirat Karni extends far beyond the realm of financial transactions. It embodies the ethos of performing one's duties with honesty, sincerity, and a commitment to righteousness. The mantra "Sachee Dharam Karan Keejaai" underscores the importance of engaging in actions that not only contribute to personal well-being but also uphold the principles of justice, fairness, and ethical conduct.
Sachee Dharam Karan Keejaai: The Call to Righteous Action:

Kirat Karni emphasizes the importance of aligning one's professional and personal pursuits with a higher moral compass. By choosing a path of integrity, individuals embark on a journey of self-discovery and contribute positively to the greater good.
