I’ve been fixing and re-posting The World’s Translated Thus for a couple of months now, so now that I’ve got about 100K of the fic already up, s anyone who missed my fevered StarOp fic (before I got swallowed into the maw of traditional publishing) is welcome to jump on board.

I’m not one for huge warnings, but this is sitting around the “Carolina Reaper” on the Scoville Heat Scale and it’s really meant to hurt A LOT before you get that sweet sweet comfort.

Also I recently added another HFN chapter for Politics of Experience, the fic I could never quite abandon, if the 4 of you who still remember it are keen on getting some resolution after 8 years!

I just got this Dark of the Moon Starscream toy and he is so freakishly horrifying it's adorable! I have so far found these terrifying semi-alt modes, and...well...I had to draw them...

Bumblebee has a Starscream body pillow.

Bulkhead WANTS one but can't find/afford any that large.

Ratchet once woke up on a jet at a rager back in his med school days so he doesn't know why you would want a pillow of one.

Wheeljack slept on Starscream once so he's good.

Arcee, Smokescreen, and Ulta Magnus don't own any body pillows.

Optimus canonically has a jet's wing in his berth room. He also never sleeps so he doesn't have any body pillows.

My PTSD stems from a toxic TFP group and while the media is no longer a trigger, I still try to avoid it. You and the wonderful KO-mun are literally the only two TFP RPers I feel comfortable talking to, and I only made the effort because of how spot-on you two are. As much as I love to hate on what TFP became, the Starscream you write is the one the show's writers [1 cont.]

He is The Magnificent Bastard, of TVTropes, and you display his 'cowardice' as the believable outcome of not just a brutal War that decimated his city, his PEOPLE, but of countless years of abuse from Megatron and just the general Decepticon modus operandi. ((AAAAAAHHHH thank you! This means so much to me! Any time I can do Starscream justice and show what he’s capable of (as we see in the actual show) while still acknowledging what a mess he is because of what he’s been through, it makes me happy.

I feel like all the pieces of a perfect TFP Starscream were just scattered through the Aligned stories, between the books and the show, and some of the comics even, and one of my favorite things to do is to fit them all back together and explore who he is, how he’s changed over the eons, and where he’s going now. One of the challenging things is to acknowledge and keep the canon stuff that happened in Season 3 of TFP (as badly written as it was and as tempting as it is to just toss a bunch of it) and write it as a severe breakdown from which he’s started to recover. I’m glad it’s working XD))

Ahhhh sorry I was mainly talking about the G1 series and tf prime! I've never understood the love for him especially in prime (I haven't read much of the comics since they can be pretty expensive)

Oh no need to be sorry! G1 Starscream is terrible but G1 is a (very amusing) mess in general. As far as Prime goes TFP Megatron is pretty awful to him so I think a lot of people sympathise with primescream for that reason. shrug. As far as the comics go you should see if that humble bundle’s still going. If not there are places to read them for free online that you can find with google. Obviously you should pay for them if you can, but if you couldn’t pay for them anyways it’s not like IDW’s really losing anything.
