Bio

He had always been part of a set. A twin was never alone and there was something he thrived on in it. He never had to be the clear head. He never had to put forth the effort that his twin might have. He was free to be whatever he wanted no matter what because Fabian was part of him. His twin could never leave him and after all wasn’t that what everyone feared when it came down to it? Being left on their own? It could never be for him and he had taken the fact and run with it. School was a breeze that left him in a whirlwind of partying with his fellow purebloods and sneaking off to get academic help from some of the less popular Ravenclaws.

Quidditch had been a passion for him since he was old enough to know what it was. He had always wanted to play but had never been any good. Clumsiness was who he was. He had tried so many times to make it onto the team in school and when he knew that his dreams would never pan out he decided to became a healer for the teams instead. His grades weren’t the best in school but finding his passion had helped him to step up his game and achieve the career that would get him as close to his idols as he could be without being on the teams himself.

Leaving school he found himself thrown out into the adult world with little to no preparedness. He was a rather terrible cook and his flat looked exactly how a young mans flat would look if the young man didn’t know how to clean. His mother would send house elves whirling through periodically cleaning the dust away and stocking things in an always empty kitchen. He put no thought into it. He just knew every so often things would show up where they should be and he had no reason to stress about it. It left him both spoiled and unprepared to live life as an adult should. He spends most of his nights partying with the other young purebloods. His sole focus on having a good time, drinking, and dragging the prettiest thing he can find into his bed for the night. Whether it’s a man or a woman as long as they’re pretty he’s happy with it.

With the rumors of an upcoming battle and sides to be taken he feels torn. He spends his time with the purebloods for the most part and his streak of cruelness is well known but does that discount the core of him? He feels that he can’t take a stand for either side. He feels that he could see the points from both sides and if he could just manage to stay neutral in the war surely he could keep his hands clean from all the carnage that is surely about to take place. His friendships fall on either side of the line and he could see himself falling in naturally either way, perhaps it would be best to simply wait for Fabian to make his mind up for him.

Emmeline Vance has always been described as ‘capable’. From a young age she was solving puzzles in creative ways and forging a path for herself early in life. Her parents offered Emmeline a safe and happy childhood, although they both worked long, exhausting hours at the ministry meaning that child-care was left to her grandfather who owned Honeydukes sweet shop. As a small child, there was nothing that Emme loved more than suggesting new sweets her grandpa to try and make to try and then helping him make the ideas from her imagination into a reality. When she was six years old, her grandpa gave her her own little apron and nametag for when she was at the store.

Helping out at the store truly shaped Emme as she grew up. All sorts of people stopped by the store in their trips to Hogsmeade - all shapes, all sizes, all races, all blood statuses. Emme naturally became kind and compassionate, willing to help whoever might need it no matter what their background. Her first signs of magic showed in the store - she had to carry 3 tubs of jelly slugs from the cellar to the top of the store, and managed to levitate one in front of her like grandpa did with a degree of concentration after huffing about the fact she couldn’t carry three with her little hands. Certainly, her grandfather was more of a parent than her own parents ever were.

The issue of parenting came to a head just before her ninth birthday, when her parents decided that they were going to move to France to start life afresh. Emme’s father had been offered a job at the French Ministry and they had taken it easily, jumping at the opportunity to start life again in the beauty of France. But Emme’s little heart broke at the idea of not only being taken away from Britain and the promise of Hogwarts, but from the most important person in her young life. A few roaring arguments between her father and grandfather while Emme was supposed to be sleeping (but was really hovering at the top of the stairs trying to listen to what the adults were saying) and the three adults called her downstairs asking her a simple question.

“Would you rather live in Britain with grandpa or move to France with Mummy and Daddy?”

Emme never answered verbally, but instead ran over and clung to her grandpa’s leg, who had been more of a father to her than her own father had. It wasn’t their fault, of course, that they worked long hours and hardly ever saw their daughter - but Emme’s decision was easy. And so it was that within the next few months Emme’s parents prepared to move away and prepared to leave their daughter behind (promising visits, of course). In January, her parents were gone leaving her to live with grandpa and grandma in their small flat above the store. Life passed by peacefully until her eleventh birthday arrived and with it, a letter inviting her to Hogwarts.

On her first day at Hogwarts, Emme learned that not everyone was as kind as her. Her grandfather had pulled her aside at Hogsmeade station before she ran to join the arriving students and said ‘be brave enough to stand up for those who cannot stand up for themselves’. Those pearls of wisdom stuck a chord deep within Emme, who had always considered herself kind but hadn’t had to put herself in any level of discomfort to be kind so far. She had lived a reasonably sheltered upbringing, after all. Cruel thoughts had not been present in either her home or the sweet store (after all, who can find it in their hearts to be cruel when surrounded by that much sugar). With that wisdom fresh in her mind, Emme made her way towards Hogwarts where the sorting hat confidently placed her in Ravenclaw. 

From there, Emme excelled at school. She had always loved reading as a child, and she made a name for herself quickly as one who always placed near to the top of her class. She engaged in lots of extra-curriculars including Charms club and Dueling club, and spent most of her evenings buried in magical practice and theory. In fifth year Emme became a prefect. 

During her careers meeting, Emme looked at the pamphlets before her and knew there was only one real option for her. She had half considered the aurors programme, but reading and writing had always been her passion. Emmeline applied for a job with the Daily Prophet as a junior journalist. Working hard at her N.E.W.Ts, Emme left Hogwarts with an Outstanding in all subjects and a well-earned place at the Daily Prophet.

Since starting work at the Daily Prophet eight years ago, Emmeline has carved a name for herself as a well-respected journalist. She always works for the truth no matter how uncomfortable or unsettling it might be, and is determined to bring the truth to the public. This has, on occasion, led to Howlers being sent through the post but Emme is not deterred.

Emme is a notorious coffee drinker and can almost always be found with a flask in hand. She also loves to bake, frequently bringing in home made snacks to share around the office - Merlin only knows that their office needs a sprinkling of happy on a semi-regular basis. BACKGROUND

Lily’s childhood was a happy one. Mr. and Mrs. Evans adored both of their girls, different as they were, and although they weren’t drowning in money, they made enough to get by. Growing up in Cokeworth in the midlands of England, Lily was a bright and outgoing child, always known to be the first to introduce herself and show around a new student or to help others with their homework. Her most treasured memories include day trips with her parents and sister to the beach, where she and Petunia would spend hours searching for seashells, heedless of the freezing water or their aching feet.

Lily can’t actually remember the first time she did any magic. After she got her Hogwarts letter, her parents would tell her stories about flowers blooming in the middle of winter, cookies flying out of the jar before dinner, and snow falling indoors, but for a long time, her family just accepted that strange things happened around Lily. She does remember turning Louise Ellington’s hair green for picking on her older sister Petunia and being so scared afterward that she cried. As she grew older, these ‘odd little happenings’ as her mother used to call them that occurred around Lily began to scare her more and more. That was why her first meeting with Severus Snape impacted her so greatly.

Severus explained to her that there was nothing really wrong with her at all, that she wasn’t strange or abnormal, but a witch, one among thousands in Great Britain alone. Severus took away her fear about herself, and from that day on they became the best of friends. Lily didn’t care that he lived in Spinner’s End, the poorest part of town, or that they could never go to his house to play because his father wouldn’t allow it. She was simply content to have found someone like her, someone who understood.

As she and Severus grew closer, her relationship with Petunia became more and more distant. Petunia felt left out and overlooked, and when the time came for Lily to attend Hogwarts, and Petunia received a letter from Dumbledore explaining that she would not be allowed to go with, the sisters’ relationship had deteriorated beyond repair. Petunia told anyone who would listen that Lily was a freak and that she wanted nothing to do with her. Lily was heartbroken, but she soon consoled herself with the wonder of Hogwarts and all the magic that it had to offer.

Lily was fascinated by every aspect of magic, even the ones that others seemed to consider boring, like History of Magic. She quickly rose to the top of her class and became known for being one of the school’s best tutors, always taking time to help out the younger years and anyone else who needed her help. She also became known for her kindness, being the first to offer a warm smile in the corridor or to help another pick up dropped books. Furthermore, she was known for her fiery temper when crossed, especially when she caught others being bullied or harassed.

Her relationship with Severus grew strained as the years went on and he became more and more interested in the Dark Arts and started hanging around with the blood purists who despised her. Tensions came to a head by the end of their Fifth Year, when Severus called her a mudblood in front of everyone by the Black Lake. That was the final straw, and their friendship ended.

Lily's last two years at Hogwarts were...surprising, to say the least. She found herself drawn more and more to the boys that made up the Marauders, and James Potter in particular. As their friendship and affection grew for one another, she slowly began to develop romantic feelings for him, and by seventh year, they were officially a couple.

The intensity of Lily's feelings for James caught her by surprise. She'd always considered herself a rather practical, if passionate girl, but hardly a hopeless romantic. But the way she loved James was passionate and strong and intense and sturdy, and she knew quite sooner than she expected to that he was the one for her. He's her best friend, no doubt about it. 

The incident with Mary MacDonald was the first time Lily started to fear for her own safety and the safety of her loved ones, but it was hardly the last. She's been watching the Prophet closely, and has connections in the aurors' offices, so she knows that something sinister is going on. She doesn't quite know what she's going to do about it yet, but she knows she has to do something. If the Ministry won't act, she believes that soon matters will have to be taken into the hands of those who care and have the most to lose, and she knows she'll be the first to volunteer when the time comes. 

She currently works as a healer at St. Mungo's, fulfilling a dream she had even before finding out she was a witch.

the choleric-sanguine combination is driven by two temperament needs. the primary need is to get results. the secondary need is to be accepted socially. either need may dominate their behavior depending on the requirements of the situation. the choleric and sanguine natural tendencies combine to produce a result-oriented person who needs to be around people socially some of the time. this combination naturally likes being the leader and is often an executive. the choleric-sanguine has a natural drive to quickly get results. they are goal and bottom-line oriented, and can be very persuasive in promoting their ideas and goals. they are easily annoyed when others do not comply with their instructions or direction but it passes quickly; quickly aroused, easily calmed. they are not angry, although others may at times think they are furious. they are impatient and will push others to obtain results and be productive. they take a win/lose approach to life, so when results are not coming quickly enough they become bored and will move easily to another project. they have boundless energy so they need lots of activity. they require little sleep (4 to 6 hours is common). they dislike details or doing tedious work, however, they see the importance of details, and can easily delegate that to others. the choleric-sanguine is not a frequently found combination.
