HIII just wanted to share i did in fact write the last 7 sentences i needed to round the count out to 100 (i wrote 93 sentences for this ask game!) :]

7 sentences, from mikejakes phone call:

If he were Charlie, or Briggs, or maybe even Johnny, he’d probably wind up fuckin’ babysitting him, or as close as he’d let him get to it. But he wasn’t Charlie, nor Briggs, and he sure as hell wasn’t Johnny—he was Dale Jakes, and he had a call/a deal to arrange in fifteen minutes. [...] With that, he headed downstairs to lock himself back in his prison cell. [...] Dale walked/strolled past the kitchen island/through the kitchen, and the kettle he’d left out from breakfast caught his eye. He did have fifteen minutes, just enough time to run some peppermint tea up to him and be back downstairs in time. Wouldn’t do any harm, right? He put water on to boil, and pulled two black mugs from the cabinet.

Okay this is something I just got my nephews (they like to 'help,' cook (they're 3)) so would the triplets like the specialty waffle makers that come out around Halloween/Christmas/Easter that put a pumpkin/ornament/egg on one side of the waffle? Even if it's just when they're young? Or would that be more of Reed's thing when he exists in the Reed AU?

In the Human Misty Reed AU, does Reed ever witness Tigerstar do something horrible?

stonefur does most of the cooking (at least when the triplets are younger, because their schedule is probably 7-7 which means dinner has to be at like, 5, and mistyfoot's work schedule is between 9-5 and 8-6, so that's not gonna work), and he'd be down for it too.

like c'mon what kid wouldn't love that?

(admittedly i haven't written much from beyond "their breakfast is cheerios and some fruit" age, so y'know. but yeah no they would like this.)

they don't usually help out with dinner, because that's (generally) feathertail's most active time, so like, playing with mom!!, but they're toddlers and toddlers generally like investigating these kinds of things. sometimes feathertail chills in the kitchen and then they all vibe and stonefur tries to find little things for them to do. y'know, crack an egg, tear up the basil, what have you.

that's pretty rare though feathertail isn't really a fan of being in the kitchen while stonefur is cooking for...is this one obvious? have i established that? i know i made one comment about rice but that was actually for a different reason. anyway no yeah she's not a fan so like. there's a bit of Exposure therapy in it (stonefur is good and safe and pleasant conversation), but like. "being comfortable around people cooking" is exceptionally low on feathertail's therapy goals.

(what's highest on the list? Separation Anxiety. well that's first on the list, but when the toddlers are 2-3, it's a Lot better. so highest on the list is probably Medical Phobia and Dealing With Conflict. i'm not sure, i'd have to write more therapy sessions for her to figure it out.)

that said if feathertail is having a bad day stonefur usually tries to let them do something bc they can be like "look mama! we made dinner!" and she can be proud of them and it's cute and a good distraction.

reed would naturally love it but i stand by: what kid wouldn't love it?

as for the second part, as mentioned, all of mistyfoot's kids are dead pre-really-bad-cult-stuff. (reed is never born but that's not really signficant here.) i really need to make a timeline for events leading up to tigerstar, because i have a few ideas, but it makes it hard to answer a specific question of when does primrosepaw die? and how old is she relative to feather and storm?

but i'll do that later.

"that's my mom" / "that's my dad" crew. uh they'd prob not b friends though.

anyway yeah! i mentioned offhand that, had prim lived, she prob wouldn't've been treated as badly as mistyfoot and featherpaw; that's because mistyfoot and featherpaw are being punished mostly for their brothers' escape/fears of Bad Influence over half-clan stuff, and while prim could be involved in this, there's actually an emphasis in limiting the parent child relationship that would mean tigerstar would probably try to turn her on mistyfoot.

(said limitations are why mosspelt isn't invovled. well, mosspelt also nopes out when things start getting bad -- that might be incongruous with some older stuff, especially the hair brushing scene, but i worked out some dawnpaw matters -- but part of why is because she fears tigerstar separating her from dawn the same way he did with feather and storm.)

but uh. okay i won't like. "does reed" vs "what does reed" are two different questions so i will say "yes" and answer "what does/would reed" if that is a question people are interested in.
