my wife has spent years unable to play minecraft for more than 30 minutes at a time without getting motion sickness, and this weekend she bought some dramamine and has been able to binge for 3+ hours and I am so unbelievably proud of her practical problem solving skills.

nobody has ever deserved a 3+ hour minecraft binge as much as my wife.

Ok I’m starting to get concerned now, I’m psyched about how Shironeki perpetuates the cycle of violence and how it’s kinda canon he enjoys it, my head is filled with his laughter and heavy breaths and shouting and quiet tangents and I don’t hate it and it was like this before things got bad again, I’m feeling tempted to choose him over everything again and THE YEAR JUST STARTED, how can I stop this before it devolves

a couple of youtubers i subscribe to have been playing minecraft recently, either in a "ive never played mc but ill give it a shot" or a "i havent played minecraft since horses were added" way, and watching them has really made me realize how much ive just been min-maxing minecraft lately. like ive been doing some fun stuff, but its mostly extremely large projects that take hours of farming that isnt really fun for me. watching other people just play the game slowly and have fun inspired me to try and go back to experiencing the game that way, and it is so much more fun than what i've been doing.

does anyone else play minecraft in a 'i maximized my space for efficiency and then blanked on what else to do' style or am i just playing the game wrong
