Welcome to Apocalypseburg Part 7, 8 and 9! Half way there! In these 3 parts there are 2 new figs, Batman and Fuse! Batman's armour is particularly impressive! These bags are building up up up! Loads of height gained and more structure put in place. Not a huge amount of detail yet but that'll come later I'm sure. Work in Progress

Building in Newcrest is fun! At the moment i’m building several larger houses.  I have built so many houses in the last 2-3 weeks, it’s just crazy. I can hear you think, how do you have so many time to build? Well, i have a lot of spare time because i’m between jobs. I took a few weeks off before starting my new job wich i’m excited to start!  Some i have build in a few hours, others took me a few days (like these on the pictures) I can’t wait to share them all with you!!!

Welcome to Apocalypseburg complete! In the final 2 parts of the set, we have the statue torch and loads of extra finishing parts to complete the detailing on the build. We also have a Green Lantern minifig to complete the fig collection. This has so many amazing details and hidden features, if anyone wants a truly genius build you need to invest in it. Welcome to Apocalypseburg Part 15 and 16! Statue of liberty's head! This section is so clever building it up although there are a few fiddly bits that were challenging and I dropped it a couple of times. That's most likely me being clumsy. We have a new fig, Where Are My Pants Guy, and we're so close to finishing I can smell the completeness! I'm having a break now to get over the trauma of dropping Emmet down the inside of the building where it took ages to fish out. Welcome to Apocalypseburg Part 13 and 14! Only a couple of parts done today because I've had a looooooong day in work! In these parts we have a Lucy minifig looking ready to attack with her crossbow. The buildings up the side of the statue are now complete, finishing the 3 tiers, and the sign for Coffee Unchained is up! Love all of the detail in this part and the hidden features within the little rooms, brings so much more excitement to the build! Welcome to Apocalypseburg Part 10, 11 and 12! After a day away from building here's some more progress. Unfortunately I've come across a dented plate 😭😭😭 so I've had to rip apart another set to keep building. I'll be contacting Lego for a replacement. Anyway, 2 new figs, Harley Quinn and Mo Hawk here, 2 bad ass girls to add to the collection. Then we have some more building up, platform area make from lady liberty's book and complete with hand, and then the start of a building structure that will nicely fill up some space on the huge wall. The second section of the base has now come together with some derelict vehicles and another huge base structure. This side seamlessly connects to the first part and it feels really secure so far. Welcome to Apocalypseburg Part 2 and 3! These 2 parts include Larry The Barista and Scribble Cop minifigs, dressed in apocalyptic outfits. The first part of the base of the building is complete too, with Coffee Un-Chained forming, along with the Super Secret Police and gym area! This is sticker heavy so far, but the good thing about building a dystopian Lego setting is that nothing has to be perfect! Welcome to Apocalypseburg Part 1! I've been looking forward to this set ever since it was announced and the mammoth size of it has got me really excited! There are 18 sections split out in the bags, and it has a huge catalogue with it. The thing I noticed about the instructions is that it has some extra detail at the start about the design project and the team involved, I thought that was a great touch to see what happens in the background at Lego! Part 1 progress builds starts with an Emmet minifig, and is putting together the base structure of the set. Lots of plates and technic parts to make sure this beast doesn't fall apart!
