I wanted to draw teen Sidon and Bazz hanging out in Sidon's room, so it was a good moment to finally plan out said room study (that is just a part of his quarters).
It's actually Dorephan’s old quarters, repurposed after he outgrew them. He's responsible for like, half of the clutter, the rest is all Sidon.

In the late 1930s, Frank Lloyd Wright designed what would be the largest prairie-style home of his career. "Wingspread" was the name chosen for the sprawling complex built near Lake Michigan for the president of the , who also hired Wright to design his company's headquarters. A young John Lautner supervised the construction of this stunning structure which has been beautifully maintained and now functions as a conference center.

I painted an OC piece in the art style of Studio Ghibli a couple years ago, before the generator became a thing.
I'm still happy I was able to construct such a detailed background from scratch, so here's the process video on it.

I'm working on something for our dojo.🙃 This project has been postpone for years, and I'm finally starting (had a convo with Devon about Drifter taking Quincy to travel across the planets away from the bs in 1999, etc. It would be nice if they ever had a date on a ship. )
Hints: A very underrated movie from Disney in 2002.

expanding on my tags here a lil bit, I do think ml Scala is meant to take inspiration from multiple different european places but it really is very very italian to me. Like there’s the battle theme and architecture and potential symbolism yeah, but…hmm. Maybe I’m partly pulling from personal experience. I’ve visited Rome before so when I look at some of the shots in ml, mostly the nighttime ones, I just remember walking around the streets the first night I was there and how soft and warm the lighting was. It just feels the same to me somehow, which, if anything, is a testament to the amount of care and attention that was put into developing this version of Scala (from the devs themselves and in-universe ;) )

It's so weird to just walk around the town centre. And like "wait a second, why this building is locked up. It looks new". And having immediate understanding what it's exact building that collapsed inward after the renovation. Its insides crushed into rubble in one night.
It looks perfectly fine from the side, but it has no floors anymore.

Idk if any of you read the house on the cerulean sea but I used to think it was kinda tacky (even for a children's book) how the moral coldness of the city was portrayed as it being literally always raining and gray. Until I took the train to Milan
