(Continuation of Rain's POV) Wish's expression turned to concern as Rain seemed to be floundering to get his words right. He could understand as much. They dont often-.. er.. ever, come across others out here, so this was a shock to all three of them.

As per usual, Reconstruct was awful when it came to any social interactions, and as such, not helpful in this situation what so ever.

'Come on there has to be something…!'

Wish's thoughts were interrupted by an idea that struck him. Reaching into one of his back pockets, he pulled out a small bag- dull in color, with the word "jerky" blurred across the side. Upon opening it, the smell of spiced dried meat came wafting from it. Putting on his best face, trying to look as least intimidating as possible (not that he ever could pull off such a look), he held the bag out to the boy.

"Oh! Are you hungry, maybe? Here! I have plenty of jerky, youre welcome to have some! No need to be shy, please help yourself!" The Eevee nudged the bag in Rain's direction, trying to entice him to take a piece. "Its really good~" he added with a playful tune.

He figured some food might ease the boy's nerves and maybe, just maybe, he'd be able relax around them. After all, who knows how long he'd been out here!

"Great.. youre giving him our food now, too.." Came the gruff voice of Reconstruct as he made himself reluctantly join the conversation. He reached into the offered (not to him) bag, and taking out a piece of jerky.

"…Would you like some too…?" Wish asked dryly, trying very hard to keep the sarcasm out of his tone.

"Well since you offered.." Reconstruct replied unbothered, biting down onto the dried meat, and tearing off a piece as he chewed it over.

Wish closed his eyes momentarily, drawing in a calming breath, giving up on any argument before it had even started.

Anyway..

"So, are you lost?" Wish tried again, then realized that was a silly question. "Oh- well I mean, its just that we dont see people out here very often-"

"Ever." Reconstruct interjected. "No one else should be out here"

"B-but.. you two are out here..?" Rain added, pointing out the hypocrisy.

Reconstruct only spared him a sharp glare. He didnt need this boy's sass. (Even if he did make a point.)

"Oh… well, ah.. its…. complicated.." Wish muttered, looking sheepish as he scratched the back of his head.

"And none of your business-"

"Would you stop that?!" Wish hissed back at his partner. "Youre not helping.."

Reconstruct shrugged indifferently.

Wish glanced back at Rain in the same concerned face as before, then back to Reconstruct. He kept his voice low, even tho there was little point as Rain was standing right in front of him, so any secrecy wasnt going to be very secret. "We should help him.. But where do we even start..?"

Finishing off his piece of jerky, and helping himself to another, Reconstruct didnt appear to share the same concern.

"I tell you what.." he started, "Since youre the one that found him, you can be the one to deal with him." He added a less than playful slap on Wish's back, the force causing the Eevee hybrid to stumble forward, thankfully catching himself before he fell over.

"W-well- Wait- What are you going to be doing, then??" Wish asked, confused.

"Hm? Oh im not dealing with whatever this is. You let me know when you figure it out." With that the Silvally hybrid washed his hands of the situation, excusing himself from the conversation. He walked a few feet away and found himself a spot on the desolate rock, making himself quite comfy on the ground; laying on his side, back turned to the other boys, and continuing eating the piece of jerky.

Wish's ears and tail wilted in defeat. He looked back to Rain who was looking even more confused now. He really wanted to put his mind at ease. After all, how else could they help, if he was too wary to speak to them? Putting on smile, he shuffled himself to be a bit closer (but not too close).

"Dont worry about him. He's a little rough around the edges but he's actually really nice once you get to know him."

There was a loud huff of disagreement.

Wish smirked in his small victory, even if it was only temporary. Now to get back to the matter at hand.

"So.. Uh.. How about we start this over, hm?" Wish cleared his throat, straightening up. "Hi! My name is Wish. You seem to be lost. Perhaps we can help you get home?"

(And then stuff happens here : D Wish is probably going to babble on like he knows what he's talking about and help get his new found friend home!.. Pretty sure anyway.)

Consider: Chronically fatigued Trafalgar Law

Like obv his fruit has a particularly heavy stamina burden on its user, as per cannon, and the ramifications of that could look somewhat similar to CFS for the average ope ope fruit user -you'd have to be very careful managing your energy levels in a way we don't really see from any other fruit (so far). However from what I can see running out of capacity to use a devil fruit doesn't necessarily mean that a user is also physically fatigued -when we see it in the show there's also some physical trauma going on: for example post the initial Doffy fight in Dressrosa Law was shot ect. (and all the psychological trauma of Doffy) so it's hard to tell what the physical effects of running out capacity for his fruit is. He also recovers uses of his powers reasonably quickly without having any of his physical condition fixed (arguably it was worsened between being lugged around like a sack of potatoes and the sea-stone). We do see Luffy (in ennies lobby) physically incapacitated after over-extending his fruit, but again he also took a lot of damage in the fight.

BUT! If one of the long term effects of amber lead was CFS, there'd just be this extra layer of having to manage energy levels in order to be functional, and a certain degree of unpredictability in how much Law would be capable of in a day. It'd prolly be reasonably mild and well managed, but even mild and well manged CFS can have significant effects on a person.

Law seems to be fatigued/tired/low energy a lot of the time, and he's a lot more aware of conserving energy (both physical and mental) than the other characters in Dressrosa. It makes sense that Law would think about that more (particularly compared to Luffy) between the cannon effects of the ope ope fruit, Law's tendency towards strategy, and knowing what Doffy is capable of. However, the way he factors his stamina limits into his actions and clearly works out how to best distribute his energy supplies feels very second nature in a way that is comparable to the calculations people with CFS/similar conditions have to make in their day-to-day lives.

As far as Dressrosa goes, I think it'd align with his actions there- he'd likely be more impacted by CFS than usual. Leading up to Punk Hazard, hes presumably not been taking a lot of breaks and been on alert for however long he's been there, since he's in enemy territory, and he hasn't had his crew with him or anyone else to help conserve his energy (like cooking/similar chores). He's also been dealing with the psychological effects of grief and childhood trauma as well as he gears up to face Doffy (again without his crew or any sort of emotional support). Presumably he hasn't been sleeping well (those eye-bags!!), possibly because of the trauma, possibly because he's on his own in enemy territory. And then the day before reaching Dressrosa he throws his power around quite dramatically (the fight with the marines where he lifts a whole marine ship, and the body swapping, and the dismemberment, ect.). All of this would make the effects of CFS worse. So when he reaches Dressrosa, he's more fatigued than usual off the bat, and also very aware that he's on a timer and going up against Doffy. He seems to wear out quicker in the initial fight with Doffy than previously in PH, while also appearing to be a lot less comfortable doing some of the more dramatic abilities we see in PH. It makes sense that he'd be concerned about overextending his fruit without CFS, but it would also be in line for CFS and the fluctuating energy levels that he'd have less stamina than we've seen previously and also be more aware and careful about his limits (especially as he knows he can't just take time off to rest given he'll only get one shot).

As a side note: it'd be interesting how CFS would play off Law's fruit. This leans more head-cannon than a possible interpretation of the source material; but - I think Law is a particularly strong/creative user of the ope ope fruit (esp given how the narrative/other characters think he could be capable of awakening it), and with CFS he'd tire out very quickly, even with comparison to other ope ope fruit users. A heavy hitter, but he'd need to get fights finished as quickly as possible since he'd be incredibly vulnerable in a drawn out fight, particularly since we don't really see him fight alongside anyone to compensate for his limits (the heavy hitter/tired quickly is cannon, but it'd be interesting to see how that'd play off the day-to-day life of Law if he also had CFS).

You don't know how much this blog is affecting my obsession with Sengen.

Like, you made me realize so many things on why Sengen is so cool, amazing and things (I literally cannot put my feelings into words wtf)

Like, they are so similar and different at the same time, they both hide their feelings behind a marks carefully crafted by them and how they both would immediately see behind eachothers mask.

I'm literally not okay that ending/sequel is so Senkaku coded, I mean cool ship but I really don't see chemistry behind them, but ignore that.

And, and, I don't see enough people taking about it but only Senku and Gen (and Byakuya) have dual coloured hair.

I think they are soulmates but because it's a Shounen jump they were afraid of the gays.

Anyways, thank you for your blog and for feeding my Sengen delusion, I love you and continue being cool.

i understand not being able to put feelings into words because same i have so many thoughts on sengen in my drafts but it's so hard to make it all... proper-y

and one of the things is the dual coloured hair thingy!! i've noticed that and it's just sitting in my notes here like:

they are complete opposites and yet so similar. they match each other's freak so badly it gets on my nerves and everyone else's. like there's so many little things about sengen that one can elaborate about, which makes me think inagaki-sensei put a lot of thought into their dynamic?

for example, shoes. gen goes from barefoot (representing tsukasa's side, as tsukasa is also barefoot. minami, tsukasa's #1 fan is also barefoot) to wearing matching shoes with senku for winter (as far as i'm aware, only taiju and yuzuriha, senku's best friends, share the same shoe style, so it can be inferred that senku made the shoes for gen. although, nikki's is similar but slightly different too) to going barefoot again after winter, then finally officially wearing the senku shoes post treasure island arc. shoes/outfits/designs really say A LOT about the characters in dr stone imo and we need to talk about it more (boichi clearly puts a lot of story details into the design!) like the villagers wearing the same shoes/colour etc... oh i could go on and on.

so yeah definitely– senku, byakuya and gen being the only characters with dual coloured hair is something to discuss! i feel like gen is highly involved in the top best byakuya story lore moments honestly but that might just be me and my sengen goggles on idk lol

as for the extra chapters, i honestly just kinda ignore the senhaku in it?? LMAO like they made it easy to ignore since the scenes were just a few pages and not really continual. that being said, i don't mind senhaku and i think it's a decent ship which would be fun if explored romantically, but yeah i personally see them as like... cousins or something. not only senku and kohaku tbh, but senku and all the villagers are in some sort of relative-y relationship in my eyes because it's hard to remember that senku and byakuya are not biologically related when they look like carbon copies of each other lbr

Applied as a volunteer web (re)designer and consultant for a foundation which commits to alleviating the situation of child patients with cancer (for 1 day) by fulfilling their dying wishes.

For a longer time I wanted to do a volunteer project to strenghten my portfolio prior to starting work in fall, but felt selective about it. But this is a great enough cause, no need to explain further.

Stoked on this project and help them gain more publicity + connect to their target audience more seamlessly 🙏
