Some makeup empties, and there aren't very many because makeup seems to take longer to finish. Except for glosses... those finish rather quickly. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The Charlotte Tilbury HappiKiss lipgloss is the one from my selfie yesterday and I started using it in the summer. This was my car lipgloss for a while. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Dior Lip Glow, which I've finished a few of this year, and I always love. This one lived on my desk and now it's done. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Did I finish a Nars Satin Matte lippie, or did the crayon fall out and get crushed by the lid? Ugh. I wouldn't say I like a lippie that I have to sharpen because you waste so much product every time you sharpen it, but the colours and formula are among my favourite. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Nars Sarah Moon eyeliner in dark brown from a million years ago. This was the perfect dark brown liner in a formula that wasn't too smudgy, and I may have been gate-keeping ti because I know that it's discontinued and you can't find it anymore. I'll be looking for another dark brown but not black eyeliner. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Finally - the BareMinerals translucent pressed powder. This just blurred all imperfections and was so easy to use. 1.) L’Oréal Paris ElVive Total Repair 5 17% Repair Concentrate with Protein + Almond Oil

“YouTube made me buy it,” as the kids say.

Especially compared to the little $1 Hask hair mask packets, this didn’t feel like it was accomplishing anything productive. It basically only serves as shaving balm now 🪒

2.) Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask: Berries

Nonononono, bad bad bad scent, dumb & ugly & fabricated strawberry approximation, like the milf mlm manager hawking mystery health powders with grainy, pixelated images of a strawberry on the label

Feels pretty thick, could look cute? Sort of does work immediately, but this is almost as bad as the Grand-mère floral powder bathroom scents, but she’s trying so hard for that crown 😑

3.) St. Ives Lip Scrub Made With 100% Natural Sugar: Juicy Watermelon

This did not convince me to like lip scrubs. It only made me miss the exfoliating body scrub and also the firming lotion.

Warm-neutral OR cool-neutral, or even, get this, TRUE neutral (idek, I get pink-ruddy some days, I could be peach-pinky some other days; seems like blue veins, could be blue; I am cooking on the one arm during sunny afternoon commutes, but I don’t burn bright pinky-red after those :30)

Black-brown brunette

Dark brown eyes

Preference FOR cooler neutrals like grays, I am throat-stomped by these wearable stone shades from C*l*urP*p 🖤🤍

Mostly mainstream makeup; some indie brands with luck & energy

Honestly what else could I slam onto the wall to see what sticks…? Some empties! People love the empties, and I’ve been slacking on posting them, so here we are. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I finished My favourite Murad sunscreen. It’s mineral but doesn’t leave a white cast on my skin. I’m happy to say that there are quite a few mineral sunscreens at Sephora that are sheer and look normal on brown skin. Yay. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Boscia Purifying Cleansing Gel. I love this cleanser, it’s foaming and smells like a spa. I wish it came in a huge size. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Belif Aqua Bomb Cleansing Balm. Loved this. It melts into an oil, and then melts your makeup. This was a mini sample size, but it was enough to use for a week and I’d give it 10/10. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Chanv hemp ointment. Used it all over. Greasy but my hands loved it. Also smells so good, there’s so much lavender in here and I’m digging it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Alya vitamin C serum. A pass for me. I didn’t feel like it was strong enough as a vitamin C and I really just used it for hydration. #empties recently. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The MooGoo Protein Shot Hair Cream that I love. It leaves my hair so soft and I’m definitely going to restock. It felt conditioning too. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Cleanser. Didn’t foam so was legitimately gentle on skin. I used this more in the morning because it wasn’t heavy enough for night time on its own. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Belif Aqua Bomb hydrating toner. Omg this smelled SO nice - refreshingly herbal. I really enjoyed it, but this little size gave me just a few uses. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Ellie Pumpkin Enzyme Peel. I got this in the fall and I used it just once in a while. My skin was always a little tingly when I used it so the acids were working. The nice thing about a peel mask is you can customize the effect by how long you keep it on your skin. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Nars Lip Gloss in Coeur Sucre. I’m running low on lip balm. This was a pretty candy pink that was semi-sheer and I loved it. I find these to be slightly sticky but really moisturizing so I do like them. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Old Gosh Forever Lip Shine. This is from ages ago, and I found it an old purse. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Givenchy Lip Glow. One of those glosses that changed colour on your lips. It killed me to throw away this Lux packaging. The lip balm costs $45 and comes in many colours. I just saw it at Sephora. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Skin Proud Recharge Serum. This has 1.5% retinol in it and also was more of an oil serum. It was one of the more moisturizing serums I’ve tried. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Murad Eye Masks. It was good, but more because I felt refreshed not because I felt that I looked different. I’m still on the eye mask train though. Didn't love the essence gloss. Too sticky. It also fades and rubs off in a way that leaves random glitter on the lips which looks really bad. No rebuy
