#devilman #myscans #i'm aware this is not really very interesting but I was just trying to see how to get the most out of magazine print pages with my scanner #and i saw tiny ps1 ryo and i was like yeah i'll practice with this..#anyways this is so interesting what an obscure game. it's like a survival horror game with tank controls and everything its like #a devilman themed RE game lol? preeettty cool i reccomend checking out some gameplay #also i found a few sources saying it was released for windows 98 as well as the ps1 and after entirely too much research i'd like to call #that claim dubious at best. couldn't find any evidence of that ever existing. and the few sources I could find claiming this were all in en #my theory is we are dealing with the very real possibility that someone confused this game for devilman evil mahjong #i know i said this is not very interesting but i meant the actual magazine page. the game is fascinating

One thing we don’t talk enough about Metal Gear is how good it is with its ambient music

#inspired by the overwhelming urge to replay solid 1 after listening to the Warhead Storage music…..#- that track is just peak mgs1 to me #good ambient music in games to me is if you can listen to it and immediately imagine gameplay going on in your head #like sure makes sense for the mgs2 ones I’ve played that several on several times #but even for 1 and 3 (have replayed significant less times) its still stands #I suppose being backing music for the codec calls helps a lot too #alls this to say is that I really want to replay mgs1 right now but I have EXAMS and I don’t have the ps1 with me #was telling myself I should bring it down but just. didnt ;T_T;#mgs #metal gear

I like that mgs games look the way they do because kojimas a cinephile

#the synergy achieved with mgs1 is unmatched though #snake eater remains my favorite because the story and gameplay is unmatched but visually it will always be 1 #incredible visual effects and I like the camera work it manages with the engine like they really pushed what they could do with a ps1 #they pushed a lot with the ps2 with sons of liberty but that was mainly gameplay imo I might be overlooking some things with it visually #I think the reason I'm already such a hater on the mgs3 remaster is that I just find it deeply ugly LMAO #I'm yappin

watching playthroughs of a couple new indie horror games people are raving about rn and just sitting there after like oh thats it ?

nearly 30 hours into p2is and it's giving me a brain aneurysm
