apropos of nothing, it'd be funny to imagine that the two (or perhaps 3) main jumping off points for G-Witch's Ad Stella timeline versus the Universal Century timeline after watching Gundam Unicorn is that:

Spacenoid/Spacian rights were ratified at the start of the new calendar

Which leads to expansion to space and all major capital moving there (which leads to spacian domination due to ownership of excess resources and the current status quo of corporate feudalism)

"Permet" as it's known in Ad Stella is actually Universal Century's "Psychoframe" tech discovered and implemented earlier; with the logical conclusion of no natural Newtypes present at that point of time leading to the creation of the GUND-Format and the Enhanced Humans (aka Cyber-Newtypes) to take advantage of it; Eri is very likely the first Actual Newtype of Ad Stella (circa G-Witch plot), but her young age and the harshness of space would prove too much for her

all that to say is:

Should G-Witch and Universal Century have a crossover, all the Permet abilities will more or less still work against Psychoframe tech and might even advance to the even more esoteric stuff related to Psychoframes given enough time

The UC tech pre-psychoframe stuff would be "museum pieces" like the NTDS used in the last few episodes, since they would lack Permet/Psychoframes to operate and subsume

So if i understand correctly, "Gundam ALC Encounter" is about Lalah Sune reincarnating into a lesbian tiktoker who can control replicas of the Sazabi and Nu Gundam with a psychoframe, while Amuro and Char beat each other up in a shopping mall (as they should).

Finally took some nice pictures of my RG Hi-Nu Gundam :)

This kit is special to me because it's the last gunpla I finished before my kiddo was born. I actually wrapped it up over a year ago but I haven't had the time/energy/drive to take DSLR pictures of it til now.

The paintjob is based on an old Moon Gundam commission I did back in 2020 and the Unicorn Gundam. The pink/red accents are meant to invoke the Unicorn's psychoframe :) I used grey in place of blue on this because I wanted to use the polygonal decals that the RG line uses but since some of those decals are white I had to make my color choices based on that.

Overall very happy with this little guy. The kit itself is wonderful and this paintjob is really striking, if'n you ask me. I have the HMBL for this too and that parts are all prepped, they just need to be painted. Dunno when I'll get around to that but it'll probably be before the year is out.

I was thinking that the armor/reflector bits on the Psycho Gundam had bits that looked an awful lot like Psychoframe - but then when I thought about it, it makes a lot more sense than I thought! In U.C. proper, Wireless Mobile Suit-Scale psycho-machines did not exist until 0087, with the AMX-004 Qubeley. Psycho-Frame would first be seen in 0093.

In the GQuuuuuuX timeline, such psycommu systems would appear eight years earlier during the One Year War - which, assuming that psycommu tech advances at the same rate, slots the development of Psycho-Frame in nicely at 0085 - the same year that GQuuuuuuX takes place. It becomes even more plausible when you factor in Moon Gundam having Psycho-frame appear in 0091 - which would place the GQuuuuuuX development in 0083 - incidentally the same year as Stardust Memory.

We must remember that, in the end, Gundam shows are about the power of a pilot in a mobile suit, not the power of political maneuvering. These are stories where a single individual can possess a world-changing amount of power. A standard mobile suit is a weapon on par with a high-powered fighter/bomber plane equipped with nukes; at the upper end of the scale you get Newtype-powered psychoframe bullshit that can rewrite reality with a wave of the hand. A princess screaming "stop!" cannot outsmart bullet; why should we expect her to outsmart whateverthefuck this is?

We see a similar tendency in video games: Commander Shepard is a highly autonomous cyborg detective / space captain / space marine, going from planet to planet shooting hundreds of people in order to save the world.

However, rather than an over-emphasis of agency, in real life all institutional structures and production outcomes depend on the constant exercise of small amounts of agency by large numbers of people, and the nature of limits to information processing and transmission result in the natural emergence of hierarchy which concentrates agency in the leader of an organization. If the leadership of an organization have insufficient will or ability to practice agency, then they may fail to harmonize the behavior of the formation, and the resulting force incoherence will cause the organization to fail to achieve its function.

In a fictional setting, it's difficult to express this nature, especially as a fictional setting has to compress its emotional and information payload into its runtime. In real life, the stakes gain value through their weight and substance (e.g. for a normal person, saving the life of someone who was bleeding out after a convenience store shooting may be the most important thing they do in their life), while in fiction, the stakes are symbolic.

Thus, in terms of messaging over a limited human lifespan, I think that the use of mobile suits, and the way they emphasize agency, is quite valuable, even though they are obviously highly unrealistic. The concept is genius, really.

MG RX-93 νGundam (Version 1.0)

I built the original version because I don't like the opening Psychoframe gimmick on the Ver Ka. It's not the Unicorn, it's the Nu! It only has Psychoframe around the cockpit! I also prefer the proportions and design on the older version.

As usual, I painted this one by hand, but I used a different method. I was also able to hand paint the primer and matte top coat, so now I'm finally free 100% from aerosolized paints and should be able to paint more models going forward.

Finished my fifth Gunpla kit - MG RX-9 Narrative Gundam C-Packs Ver. Ka

This kit is simply marvellous. Had lots of fun assembling and decorating it. Really liked making scratched silver deactivated psychoframe and armor weathering.

i'm pretty stoked about it, i've been a fan of the Narrative for awhile. gimmicks look neat, esp. the core fighter and psychoframe.

as far as color go idk yet, but I have some mild kitbashing in mind. it's all very dependent on having the kit in my hands though, plus i like to keep some things a surprise.

Title: Gundam BEYOND - Murumo and Pocoyo

The year from April 7th, 1979 to this same date of 2019, and now 2024 (as 45th year). It's the celebration of our beloved and one of the most iconic mecha robots in the anime universe! Yes! I bet you know some of you G-Fanatics that "Mobile Suit Gundam" becomes 'BEYOND' 40th Anniversary! 🤖😁

So in order to do so, I would like to make 4 artworks based on the 'Gundam Beyond' wallpapers from the "Gundam info" website. You can go check it out to see all four wallpapers, it's awesome: [CLICK ME!]

Now with being said and like-wised, I made this artwork inspired from the 1st photo I saw; When Amuro on the RX-78-2 Gundam and Banagher on the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam finally met in the same Universal Century. (Yeah rumor / official say that Amuro died in the events of Char's Counterattack, but let's not argue or split hairs...) And like I said, I drew RX-78-2 Murumo 🥁⭐ and Unicorn Pocoyo 🔵👶 with the T-Shaped Psychoframe 🟢✨ in the middle and glowing light green lines and sparkles around them.

Well that's much about it, I'll make 3 more inspiring artworks from the 'Gundam Beyond' this month of April before it ends.

BTW: I haven't drew Murumo (my favorite character in Mirmo!) in a while since.

wow i'm terrible at dream supers and hypers but in my defense 4 frames sounds like a big window until you remember that the game runs at 60 frames per second so its like a .06 of a second window which is much less than the average human reaction time and i'm just an average human i'm not a newtype my switch pro controller doesn't have any psychoframe as far as i know. it's hard :(

i missed a secret and the 5th berry but idc enough to find them sorry
