Elaboration; People have contemplated how to categorize Dinobots in methods such like this, but it has led to debates about what counts as a dinobot. Are fliers under that banner or are they "Pterobots?" Can Dinobots swim or are those Plesiocons? Are Dinobots totally different from Dragonicons or are they a subtype?

Entire forums have collapsed into infighting over this.
