Literally just saw a post canceling the quote “it’s rotten work/ not to me not if it’s you” because the context is Orestes and Pyladis Greek mythological figures who were homoerotic but also cousins and that means it’s canceled for incest and we can’t support the quote anymore and I’m like
You do realize it’s about PYLADIS AND ORESTES GREEK MYTHOLOGICAL FIGURES WRITTEN IN THE HISTORICAL GREEK TEXT ORESTES WRITTEN BY EURIPEDES IN 408 BCE right? You do realize nearly everyone in Greek mythology was related? Zeus and Hera are siblings? Persephone is the niece of Hades? All of the gods are descended from the sibling marriage or Cronus and Rhea? Most mythologies are full of incest between gods and heroes??
And btw Cousin marriages were COMMON if not ENCOURAGED by many cultures in history up until the modern era. It was NOT considered incest until recently (and yes, it obviously IS incest by scientific standards and modern culture, but we are talking historical culture here). To the Greeks any homoerotic relationship between Orestes and Pyladis would not be considered incest! And these people cared about that we have an entire story written about the horrors of incest with Oedipus! Use your brains and cultural contexts!
But the idea like oh no we gotta cancel mythology now guys! Classical ancient texts are canceled! Oh no the ancients had a different standard in their culture and writings than we modern people we gotta burn the books! Burn the writing don’t ever talk about Greek myths again!
And while we’re at it let’s cancel .... Japanese Shinto mythology (The creator god and goddess Izanagi and Izanami are siblings among others), Egyptian mythology (Isis and Osiris are siblings among others), the Bible because Lot’s daughters had sex with him, and also actual history because half the historical royal figures were married to their cousins at some point. Cleopatra was married to her own brother. The ancient Egyptian royals married their siblings. The entirety of the European royal bloodlines are an incest filled mess.
Like holy fuck guys have some perspective. Mythology, history, religion isn’t clear cut or as clean as the modern world is. Please for the love of god stop trying to “””cancel”””” everything you can’t fucking grasp or that disturbs you just because it doesn’t fit into your modern worldview I’m begging you grow a fucking brain.
#im losing my mind#wander thoughts#dip’s life#history#mythology#im screaming guys im genuinely screaming

Python
Python Programing Language Course
Python’s development is conducted largely through the Python Enhancement Proposal (PEP) process, the primary mechanism for proposing major new features, collecting community input on issues, and documenting Python design decisions. Python coding style is covered in PEP 8. Outstanding PEPs are reviewed and commented on by the Python community and the steering council.
Enhancement of the language corresponds with the development of the CPython reference implementation. The mailing list python-dev is the primary forum for the language’s development. Specific issues are were originally discussed in the Roundup bug tracker hosted at by the foundation. In 2022, all issues and discussions were migrated to GitHub.Development originally took place on a self-hosted source-code repository running Mercurial, until Python moved to GitHub in January 2017.
CPython’s public releases come in three types, distinguished by which part of the version number is incremented:
Backward-incompatible versions, where code is expected to break and needs to be manually ported. The first part of the version number is incremented. These releases happen infrequently—version 3.0 was released 8 years after 2.0. According to Guido van Rossum, a version 4.0 is very unlikely to ever happen.
Major or “feature” releases are largely compatible with the previous version but introduce new features. The second part of the version number is incremented. Starting with Python 3.9, these releases are expected to happen annually. Each major version is supported by bug fixes for several years after its release.
Bugfix releases, which introduce no new features, occur about every 3 months and are made when a sufficient number of bugs have been fixed upstream since the last release. Security vulnerabilities are also patched in these releases. The third and final part of the version number is incremented.
Many alpha, beta, and release-candidates are also released as previews and for testing before final releases. Although there is a rough schedule for each release, they are often delayed if the code is not ready. Python’s development team monitors the state of the code by running the large unit test suite during development.
The major academic conference on Python is PyCon. There are also special Python mentoring programmes, such as Pyladies.
Python 3.10 deprecated (to be removed in Python 3.12; meaning Python extensions need to be modified by then), and added pattern matching to the language.

Best python ide for gui

#BEST PYTHON IDE FOR GUI CODE#
PyQt applications run much better in practice from a user perspective than something like Electron. OTOH, with something like Electron, you are going through a browsery DOM with a bunch more layers of abstraction between you and the meat of what's actually happening.
#BEST PYTHON IDE FOR GUI CODE#
If you are doing normal GUI development, you are only using Python to orchestrate objects that are implemented in C++, so the actual implementation of the widgets is all native code that runs great. (But both are terrible languages for that.) If you are doing hard core number crunching or the like, Javascript is much faster than pure Python. > I bet you money electron is faster than python. I have used that combination on several commercial ventures in the past. Generally speaking, a cross-platform toolkit and a cross-platform language can get you into most places, and both Qt and Python fit that bill. What do you mean by "fast and efficient"? Python and Qt can handle user interactions in real-time, even with hundreds of controls. So it depends on what you want to use it for. Android and iOS each have their own standard languages and frameworks. If you are having to learn a toolkit either way, it's worth considering.ĭepending on your experience and intended platforms, you may prefer other language/framework combinations. I don't know as much about it, but I do know that it's quite capable. Not quite as fancy, but quite capable.Ī more recent toolkit is kivy. There's also wxWidgets, which is fine too. PySide provides convenient, reliable interfaces to Qt within Python.Qt is very powerful with basically everything you could ever think of in a toolkit (and a bunch more stuff you'll never use).My employer uses Qt through PySide and it's great. Python Full Stack Developer Course
A python full stack developer course offers a variety of practical and theoretical learning opportunities, and is an excellent option for students who want to expand their skills and learn a new language. The course covers various programming languages, frameworks, and techniques. Students can find information on course fees by visiting the website. To get the best value for your money, consider enrolling in a full stack developer course.
Udemy: This course teaches full-stack Python web development using the Flask framework. It requires a background in Python and the basics of web development. The course also teaches you how to use Django and Python front-end technologies, as well as how to combine these tools to create a slick, user-friendly application.
Full-Stack developers should have experience in front-end and back-end development. This language is great for prototyping, machine learning apps, OS development, and game development. It also offers ease-of-use and allows for development on both the server and client sides. It also supports a variety of frameworks, including Flask.
A full-stack developer can build web applications, mobile apps, and enterprise solutions. Full-stack developers make between 1.8 to 15.0 lakhs per year. Learning to use full-stack programming languages takes six to eight weeks. If you want to get a great job, python is worth your time.
Full-stack engineers are highly versatile and can work on projects from design to deployment. However, they must have a basic understanding of each discipline they work in. In addition to learning new concepts, full-stack engineers should set short and attainable goals. As they become more experienced, they can develop their understanding of each area in more depth. They can also specialize in different aspects of the same discipline.
A full-stack developer uses a programming language known as Python to write front-end and back-end code. They also need to have hands-on experience with each component of the technology stack. They are also trained to interact with code written in other languages. These developers can help businesses make the most of their website.
Java is another language that can be used in the same way as Python. It is widely used and has an active user base around the world. A variety of users in different countries organize PyLadies to support the language. In addition, Java is much faster than Python and offers a better salary.
Python also has a large library of open-source software that developers can use to create complex applications. These libraries are used to manipulate data, design the interface, and store user input. Using these libraries, a full-stack developer is able to build a full-featured website using the language.

HOW PYTHON HELPS YOU IN YOUR FUTURE GROWTH?
Python's development is conducted largely through the Python Enhancement Proposal (PEP) process, the primary mechanism for proposing major new features, collecting community input on issues, and documenting Python design decisions.[160] Python coding style is covered in PEP 8.[161] Outstanding PEPs are reviewed and commented on by the Python community and the steering council.[160]
Enhancement of the language corresponds with the development of the CPython reference implementation. The mailing list python-dev is the primary forum for the language's development. Specific issues are discussed in the Roundup bug tracker hosted at bugs.python.org.[162] Development originally took place on a self-hosted source-code repository running Mercurial, until Python moved to GitHub in January 2017.[163]
CPython's public releases come in three types, distinguished by which part of the version number is incremented:

Major or "feature" releases are largely compatible with the previous version but introduce new features. The second part of the version number is incremented. Starting with Python 3.9, these releases are expected to happen annually.[165][166] Each major version is supported by bug fixes for several years after its release.[167]
Bugfix releases,[168] which introduce no new features, occur about every 3 months and are made when a sufficient number of bugs have been fixed upstream since the last release.
