Have you by any chance taken a look at r/dwt2 recently? I'd really like to hear your thoughts on the posts over there about Dream's interactions (or lack thereof) with the fanbse rn and the big content drought. I think you always have realistic outlooks on this stuff and it would definitely help some people on here that I know are trying not to feel too down about it. (100% /nf)
hello dashboard
this is the longest post i have ever written. remember, this is how i personally see things. you don't have to agree with all of it or at all. still, long as fuck. you have been warned
i do not use reddit and i especially don't visit spaces that are a vent melting pot. not something i want to encourage by giving it clicks
however it is a topic i do have thoughts on, of various kinds, so walk with me on this one. i believe the position is in right now is 1 - one he hates, 2 - one he was forced to be in and 3 - one he's too afraid to get out of
you can understand my second point easily, i don't think there's any argument about it. if it was up to him, the current state of his content would not be like this, not talking quality, but in the general lack of it. he had to reorganise his life around october 2022 to the point he considered quitting. that's not an easy thing, logistically an otherwise, and for dream out of all people to have even think about it, it must have been a tremendous feat to get out of that spot mentally. then he could not make usmp happen. dealing with the hate. gumball. releasing the video. these aren't things that he could predict, and did shape the timeline of content release
i don't want to say i feel a bitterness about it from him, because he's not a bitter person. but when he talks about the things that weren't, i do feel that sad yearn, the-one-that-got-away-esque vibe in the conversation. which is completely understandable, because those are his projects he put time thought money and love in. and then he gets the carpet pulled, and now we're here. i feel people forget that a bit you feel sad about all the content, imagine him. we knew about usmp for tops 3 or 4 days, he had been working on it for months. empathise with him a bit and understand this is not a place he wants to be in either
my general "critique" of him regarding the situation is the third point. i say fear, i don't exactly know if that's what it is, and just as above, i understand why it would exist yes, obviously the face reveal and meeting fans and having the parasocialism hit you in the face changes a lot. i understand, say, walking back from his "Stans" video, i understand walking back on the nsfw, i get those things. but we're a bit past that point now, where denouncing that parasocialism is turning into what i see as becoming the cc he has said he doesn't want to be
and i say this as someone that has been around for a WHILE. he has in the past spoken negatively about the path he is taking. the cc that's removed from his audience, the famous guy that has all his accounts managed, the creator with the over scripted, over hyped, removed of all spontaneous dynamic content that ends up either underdelivering, or not delivering at all. ( note here, i don't think dream will ever underdeliver. not in his dna. simply describing that general persona )
he's not there yet, at all, but he's edging close enough where people are starting to feel uneasy about it. some quietly, some in an understanding tone, others demanding and demeaning. and i feel at every step of walking down this figurative path, my first and second points ring very loudly. he doesn't really want this, he never asked for any of this. he has been forced into this position. but now he's on this weird stasis chamber of sorts, not fully in it but also doing nothing to get out ? i see the absolute love he has for music. i see how much he loves minecraft, and his fans, and the weirdness of it all. but he's alienating himself from it and not particularly putting up any sort of fight. not even raising his voice. nothing at all
no snapchats no tweets no likes no replies no streaming no casual popping into a friend's stream. and i am happy for him ! let me make that super clear ! taking time for himself, chilling, doing things in private. i'm glad he has that space now, and he's enjoying a life he very much could not have for years
but the very overwhelming, and genuinely new type of quiet makes that uneasiness i mentioned before grow exponentially. this isn't a quiet we're used to, and i have been through many. i am personally fine with it, i am not the one to demand content, i can simply do something else. but it does worry me he's kind of just taking the punches, and is taking them so much to heart he has removed himself this much from the public, in a seemingly unnecessary fashion. and here's the real issue for me on that third point, and where that worry comes from, and maybe in part curiosity ?
he's sure of what he's doing. at least it appears that way. i don't see all the puzzle pieces, and i am concerned at the picture they paint. is he scared ? is he tired ? is he waiting it out even more ? should i be concerned ? is that maybe too parasocial, or am i just so put off by the change of scenery and the lack of explanation for some of these changes ( like i said, i understand some, but others seem out of left field ) , it that it makes me reasonably worried
still. i get it
i criticize some of it, because yeah, i am selfish, i want the content creator that i have been following for five years to be, at least in part, the one i subscribed to. i want some content, any content, at all
i also understand the road to here was not the one neither of us expected it to be, and it changed him more than it changed me
i am a passive onlooker of his life, and i have no right to make demands to what he gives me access to. i only can complain as much as it is appropriate, which is vocalising my feelings of missing him, because he has given me a piece, and now i don't quite get why it's gone. previously he would have told us why, now it's dead lining
but it's his life. it's his time. it's his piece. and it's his choice. he can do with it as he pleases. i can be unhappy. i can have issues with it, i can worry. i can demand explanations. i am not entitled an answer. the second people understand that last part, they will have a much better time dealing with the quiet
i miss him, i really do. i understand why he's gone. i don't approve of how far he's taking it. but that doesn't fucking matter, because whatever the reasoning is, if he is doing it this way, it's for a reason that's enough to him. and i'd say, we have to trust him with his own life

TIME FOR ANOTHER OC
This is Randgríðr (She/They) a character who has as they say GONE THROUGH IT. She is a Valkyrie, and of course is based on the Valkyrie of the same name from Norse Mythology.
Desperate for a sense of belonging she was rather easily led astray by Loki and became his personal pawn. Though she eventually saw past the deception and her own love-like devotion, she had still done so many terrible things that her own sense of right and wrong was left skewed. It's these mistakes she expects to pay for so long as she lives.
Art by: @tanuki-pyon
She's also the character I've commissioned the most art of, so I'll post more if people liker her :p
Oh yeah she's also the character in my icon

Aya (Saruhiko's second cousin) meets Saruhiko and Misaki again after not seeing them for a long time since she went to highschool. Imagine Saruhiko and Misaki were walking on the streets going somewhere to buy drinks and snacks because they planned to have a drinking party. Suddenly they came across Aya, at first they didn't recognized her because she has changed a lot too, her hairstyle and way of talking was different and she had became a little taller (but maybe still shorter than Misaki, let's say Misaki is around 5cm taller than her).
I really want the trio from lsw to comeback. Please make an interaction between the three of them meeting again with the context above
It would be funny if she was almost as tall as Yata though, Fushimi would never stop teasing him about it XD Imagine this some time post-ROK, Yata and Fushimi are going to have a drinking party and went to grab some snacks. They stop at a convenience store and as it happens there are a bunch of college girls there chatting, Yata of course gets nervous and tries to hide (and Fushimi laughs at him, like what’s wrong Misaki can’t you just walk past them and Yata’s like shut up I’m giving them room). One of the girls separates from the pack to grab a snack and reaches for it at the same time Yata does, Yata immediately jumps back as if he was burned while stuttering an apology. The girl pauses and looks at him intently for a moment, Yata wilts under her gaze all ‘w-what’ and then the girl clicks her tongue and says you haven’t gotten any better with girls have you. Yata’s like what and then he hears an echoing tongue click beside him as Fushimi’s like of course he hasn’t, but who asked you. The girl’s like you haven’t gotten any less rude either Saruhiko and Fushimi irritably mutters didn’t you say I was cool, the girl’s like maybe I did say that. Yata’s brain finally catches up and he’s like wait, Oogai?
Aya crosses her arms and says who else would it be, Fushimi snorts that hasn’t she gotten ruder too, what happened to all that ‘Misaki-pyon.’ Aya shrugs and then gives this small smile as she says she stopped doing that, this way of talking suits her more after all. Yata gets this weird feeling and quickly says isn’t it fine though, he likes the Oogai who talks straightforwardly instead of with all those weird ticks. Yata adds he almost didn’t recognize her, imagine she still has shells in her hair but it’s longer now and styled different, and she’s holding a normal backpack (though it does have a bunny keychain, and a monkey one too). She’s also grown taller and Fushimi snickers all but we can’t say the same for you, she’s almost taller than you are. Yata’s like no she isn’t, holding a hand out over Aya’s head like she’s at least three, no five centimeters smaller, no probably ten, she’s way shorter than him. Fushimi rolls his eyes and Aya finally lets out a laugh, Yata hasn’t changed much at all.
Fushimi says of course Yata hasn’t, he’s as much a loud mouth shorty as always, and Yata looks at him like come on I’m sure I’ve matured a little. Fushimi’s like nope, still virgin shorty Misaki like always. Yata argues with him you know I’ve even grown a few inches since middle school and I’m a trusted adult now, a guy with a kid’s sensibilities like you shouldn’t talk I still have to hide your vegetables in dinner to get you to eat them. Fushimi says that’s different and Yata’s like how is that different. They stand there just having this good-natured back and forth until Aya laughs again, they stop and look at her and Aya says no, it seems like you really are the same, you’re only looking at each other all the time. Yata coughs and asks how Aya’s been doing, he knows she had a rough time in middle school. Aya pauses and says it was hard, but she thinks she’s grown too and things aren’t so bad now. She’s kinda glad though, seeing that Yata and Fushimi are still together. Yata looks away, saying well a lot’s happened to them too. One of the other girls calls Aya’s name and Aya says she has to get going and Yata impulsively says she should meet them for drinks sometime, now that they’re all older. Aya pauses and looks up at Fushimi, who clicks his tongue but says it’s fine, and Aya smiles as she says maybe she will then, one day.
#sarumi#Talking K#then later they do have a drinking party all three of them#imagine Fushimi and Aya get drunk and start complaining about their shitty family#while Yata sits there looking at them all you guys should probably take a break

good idea. what would your ideal a3/ gbf crossover event look like? :3
oh my god.
i actually have a tag for this with a few posts in it already that should help out, with a main post with most of my major headcanons at the time here!
rereading the post though i.
I want Hisoka to meet Troue because i think between the sleepiness and memory loss Troue goes through, Hisoka’s protective bone will tingle and it’ll be a neat plotline.
@ past me i'm so sorry, i'm so sorry this happened to us, i don't even know what to say anymore to replace this HC, this aged like milk.
Troue would be a representation of Hisoka's greatest nightmare: that under all the amnesia there's actually someone who would be willing to hurt everything they thought they cared about.
help.
ANYWAY adding to that list since it's a list i made years ago already, i absolutely NEED, like, NEEED!!!!! Michael to meet Juza.
I've spent the full reading of the Mole Troupe losing my mind because their arc is the SAME THING. Lost in life, unsure what to do because people have always projected a role on them, one that comes with them having to fight, and as a result they come off as scary and have issues showing their true emotions. But deep down, they're gentle souls who get completely shaken by theater, who finally find themselves there, because by acting they can be something different than what was projected on them. And their acting is wooden and they struggle a lot with it at first, but their passions shine through regardless and it touches people enough that you know the more they'll work on it the more they will shine, and the more they'll be able to leave behind the "scary face" they had to carry for a long time.
also Michael's "try out cute bunny bread pyon pyon!!" in the most threatening voice possible is not so unsimilars to Juza, wearing a bear costume, with the most wooden of voices, going "what sound does a bear do again? huh. BEAAAAR"
Michael and Juza being best friends is all that matters to me i want that in an event so bad.
Similarly to the Mole Troupe stuff, Falsch and Tenma need to meet i don't make the rules. Child Actors prodiges with a passion for acting, but with Falsch now being a burnt out adult who lost all of his friends and just keep seeking desperately for connection, it would probably be a good insight for Tenma who is still a teen figuring out his future and navigating how much his troupe means to him versus the expectations that are thrust on him as a a child prodige.
And still Mole Troupe, therefore Guy and Sariel would probably get along on the same ground of, being set all of their lives into being a weapon of sort, so much so they have forfeited connecting with their emotions and don't even know how to acknowledge them anymore, but thanks to getting into theater, they start to understand their feelings a lot more. Guy has made so much progress ahead and i can only wish the same for Sariel on the long term, and i feel like if they met and discussed it, Sariel especially could do a lot of progress in his recovery.
......
COUGHS
that's for some specific character i'm adding to the list of "having to meet each other" but honestly i feel like there would be fun opportunities for any of the granblue charas to meet any of the cast of a3.
In a more general mindset, the problem is that i want all 24 of the a3 cast to be able to interreact with granblue characters, and there's no way a gbf collab could actually explore it the way i want them to unless they run 4 collabs for each troupes :( and it means also giving up on some crosstroupes dynamic and stuff.
the more realistic way for a gbf x a3 event to happen would be to have the a3ders, the leader of each troupes, to be sent to the world of Granblue. And i could imagine that then, like in the love live's collabs, their fate would rest on making a good play, and the a3ders have to band together to really show people their love for theater.
and as such the most ideal characters to bounce of to for them would be the Romeo&Juliet cast, the Mole Troupe cast, Makora, and maybe also Cupitan.
But i'd be so interested into seeing each troupe in focus with their own particular brand of nonsense brought into the gbf world.
I just want everyone to meet up :(
hope it was a nice read for you ;D
Take care!

Male reader bc they are underrated!! (Ofc you can do GN too but i rlly wanna see m reader content-)
- Kani anon
Prologue: You just finished buying baked goods from a local bakery but when you stepped out of the shop a thief stole your bag. You called for help and a familiar blonde boy comes to your rescue. He was about to give you your bag but when he looked up, he saw those e/c eyes that he had truly admired and loved back when he was a child. ☄. *. ⋆:
Nazuna x reader ˗ˏˋ ♡ ˎˊ˗
Male reader 𓆩♡𓆪
Fluff + childhood friends to lovers + confession 𓆩♡𓆪
Requested? by anon ˗ˏˋ ♡ ˎˊ˗
Words: 800 𓆩♡𓆪
Warnings?: 1 cursed word used (I feel so dumb)
Pyon pyon! Koi here. Hello Kani! thank you so much for requesting. I believe that Kani is referring to the Tori post here. Since you want a male reader, of course I would accept it! I'm a trans male and this request made me happy in a way! I apologize if I made Nazuna a bit too ooc since I don't know him very well.. ♡
A/n :WOOOOH! TWO POSTS IN A DAY I'M SO AMAZING!
You joyfully thanked to the shop owner and headed out. It was the same routine for you everyday, wake up and head to the bakery store to get breakfast then go to work. It was weird for some people seeing you everyday in the bakery but in the owner's perspective it really made him happy that a young man adores his baked goods.
That is until you stepped out of the bakery, a thief suddenly snatched your bag. You attempted to seize it back but the man was too strong. Without hesitation, the thief pushed you to the ground. You tried getting up but everything escalated too quickly before your mind can comprehend what's going on.
"Somebody help! a thief stole my bag!" you yelled whilst attempting to get up from the filthy ground. You were about to grab the thief but a young-looking blonde boy popped out of nowhere and pushed the man to the ground. A number of people helped him keep the thief on the ground. He swiftly snatched the bag from the man's hands and gave it to you.
"I believe that this belongs to-" he was about to give you the bag but when he looked up to see your face, his eyes widened in shock. A streak of nostalgia passes into his heart as he proceeds to gaze deep in your eyes. "Those eyes.." he remembered staring at them back when he was younger, his heart would always skip a beat once you caught him staring at your eyes.
"Nazu..na? is that really you?" you asked him as you stared back to his light red-pink eyes. Upon hearing your voice, Nazuna's eyes shine in amusement and his lips curled into a big smile. "(Name)! It's really you!" Nazuna's eyes lit up with joy as he looked at your face with such happiness. "Nazuna! how long has it been?'' You can barely recall the last time you talked to him, talking to him was the best and comfortable thing back when you two were still children.
You two talked to each other for a while, the smile on your face was enough to keep Nazuna smiling. Seeing your smile means so much to Nazuna, it reminded him of the time when you said he was the best and closest best friend you have in your childhood.
However Nazuna looks at you more than a friend, he developed a big and strong crush on you way back then. He loves the way you smile whenever you and him play in the playground, he loves the way your arms are wrapped around his waist when you two are hugging. It made his stomach fill with butterflies, he was like a lovesick puppy when he was in love. Now, you're in front of his eyes, more grown up, more cuter, and more attractive. It was such a mesmerising view to see.
"I forgot to say, the letter you left in the sandbox was cute" you said in a teasing way, the tip of his ears went light red as well as his cheeks. "WHawt? (what) h-how did yu (you) know about that!!?" typical Nazuna, always slurring his words whenever his flustered. It made you giggle making Nazuna's face redder.
Back then..
You two separated when his family was going to move to a new town. It saddened you and it saddened Nazuna more, you were his only friend and his first crush so he made a love letter with his confession in it then buried it in the sandbox you two continuously played with. You two would always play there for hours, acting like pirates burrowing the sand to discover treasures. So when he leaves, he knows that you will go to the sandbox since it's the place where you two would spend time together. As you were digging the sand you found a letter that had Nazuna's full name written on it with a bunny drawing next to it.
Present time..
"And my answer is yes, I would love to be your boyfriend" Nazuna was about to reply to your statement but was cutted off when he heard your phone ring. You immediately took your phone out of the bag and your eyes widened in shock."Shit! It's my boss! I'm late for work!" you quickly put your phone back in your bag then grab a paper.
You push the paper to his chest, that paper has your number written on it. "I'll text you when I'm finished with work! for now I'm late, goodbye!" you were about to leave but you were taken back when Nazuna grabbed your arm pulling you close to him, he then pressed a light kiss on your cheek and whispered thank you to your ear before letting go of your arm…
A/n: After Nazuna kissed you in the cheek, you immediately run away from him whilst stumbling making Nazuna chuckle from your actions. I apologize if there are any typos or grammar errors!
...
The end..... ✩

hello it is i i come to clog ur inbox again hope its no issue... THANK U FOR TELLIN ME ABOUT HANIWA IT WASN'T LENGHTY AT ALL it actually left me wanting to know more !!! could u tell me about the idol series......
HIII WELCOME BACK !! im always happy to talk abt haniwa i vibrate ever time i talk abt it yahay!! LETS GET DOWN TO IT THEN !!
the idol series is a branch of honeyworks' confession executive committee, which as opposed to the large majority of their songs that centered on familiar shoujo manga struggles such as love, crushes, terminal illness, talking flowers, and of course, what happens when your crush moves to USA bc he was too stupid to confess — ANYWAY. idol series deals with the struggles and sufferings of idols in the entertainment industry, as well as the relationships they form in and out of their jobs !
idol series primarily centers on lipxlip ! which if you have ever seen me or spoke to me you must be fully aware im not very normal about them and just Talking abt them is one whole post itself so lets just jump over that. pyon~~!
lipxlip are the introductory characters into idol series, with one of its members, aizo, having a branch in the love series through his brother, ken. this shows that both serie are inherently connected and are simply separated by heteronormativity super silly things!

idol series also includes hiyori, lipxlip's manager and classmate who has since earned her own spot as a main character in love series with her own love story with shiranami nagisa — as well as other idols !!

mona is an angel-themed idol who is also the sister of sena narumi, a love series character and partner of midori takamine AND an in-universe media personality !

minami started as a collaboration character with y!mobile where he was introduced as the love interest of nakuru in bae love, and they have since canonized their relationship in ren'ai thru kareshi no shikaku !

another pair of idols are asuka kaido and kanata ichigoya, otherwise known as ASCANA! theyre part of the virtual johnny's project and asuka was a temporary potential love interest for hiyori up until his rejection of her in heroine ikusei keikaku (heroine development plan) . unfortunately, ascana has probably been discontinued bc their seiyuus are part of a much bigger musical group !

last and very expansive idol group (ish) in idol series is full throttle4 ! sometimes abbreviated as ft4, their members go by stage names in english characters. unlike the others, theyre not actually idols ! theyre a music and dance group with their manager as their DJ and leader, IV! rio and yui serve as the vocals while megu and dai are dancers!
note abt ft4 is that their songs tend to deal with heavy subject matter and their theme in itself is much darker than mona's angels or lipxlip's princes, but they have some incredibly interesting stories ^_^

idol series has various other characters from different media and stories: an example is chizuru nakamura or chuutan, the infamous main character of kawaikute gomen and a diehard lipxlip fan ! there's also asuna, mona's rival idol who has done some... cruel things to mona in the watashi idol sengen manga. additionally, various characters voiced by amatsuki often play the role of mona fans, like kobayashi from getsuyoubi no yuutsu! there are more and more but at this point this ask is. Too long already. IM SORRY
i hope this helps!! its 2 am and i needed this out of my system so im answering a bit fast i hope u dont mind 😭

Everything I've compiled into my brain so far (Not properly arranged & I might have missed a lot)
All the other au's are connected and there is a space where you can see the different aus with little decorations/knick knacks that matches the world
CH au has a loop
CB's world is basically a self-aware au gone wrong
Noir flowers bloom from noir hearts of hundreds of faes and is a very potent poison to light faes
Purified noir flowers can grant you a wish and the wish doesn't expire a.k.a if you can't think of a wish at the moment you can use it in the future
Normal people/fae cannot enter the forest. The only exceptions are if you have a pure heart or part of both dark and light fae
If you enter a noir will crystalize and the forest will eat you alive and turn you into fertilizer for the flowers
MC and Wataru are very long longgg distanced cousins
MC only exists rn because of the wish of the old faes and it is said that the core fae is the solution to surviving the "catastrophe"
MC's parents didn't want their child to be used as a tool and want to save MC, MC is then put to sleep in a forest(The forest full of noir flowers) made to protect them until the time comes for MC to wake up. (Aira is the one who woke MC up)
When Aira woke MC up MDD Aira was in control/possessed CH Aira
Even though asleep, MC can somewhat interact with the world. MC is the invisible audience that leaves daises or letters for Wataru a.k.a Wataru's first fan is MC
When MC/the invisible audience suddenly disappeared Wataru decided to search for them and found Aira coming out of the forbidden forest with MC
It was here that Wataru decided to "adopt" MC and made MC his cousin
1st and 2nd core fae had a ability of time and space. MC the third core fae has both
Before Kohaku and MC even met, he had a dream of saving someone from falling. We see this happening when MC got sent to the human world and Kohaku catches MC
Wayyy before MC was sent to the human world to collect crystal hearts MC made a ton of candies/sweets for Aira which caused Aira to ask his online friends if they want it. There was so much in fact that his friends started thinking he was selling drugs from how often he asked
Aira then delivered most the candies to Kohaku since Kohaku likes/loves sweets. Over time Kohaku started falling for this mysterious friend(MC) his friend(Aira) had.
Since this is getting too long and all imma cut it off after a few more numbers
The oracles the old fae got is from a dream
In Distorted Party, we see two guys arrive in certain location, admiring an old city, an ancient place. The two guys are Aira and Kohaku and I'm guessing the old city is where the old fae used to live/stay
We see a line "We still have to enter some old fools dreamy-dream". Old fools = Old fae. And the enter some old fools dreamy dream..Could that mean that they'll enter the old faes dream quite literally? Or they could mean the "oracle" since the old faes got the oracle from a dream
If we were to go back near the start (I think chapter 6?) we'll see a static/glitched out post. There are 3 in total and the one talking is most likely Aira
Aira has different nicknames. Ai-Ai for normal Aira and Air-pyon for MDD Aira since MDD Aira would sometimes astral dream(?) into CH au
In Distorted Party Picture/banner there's an alt text. I'm guessing the "Self destruction Left nothing but pain Wish upon a flower Nothing is gain" Is referring to MC trying/wanting to self destruct to save everyone. "Left nothing but pain" might be referring to MC wanting to self destruct again orrr the result of CB's destruction. CB left nothing but pain in his wake. "Wish upon a flower" is referring to when MC made Aira a flower crown made out of purified noir flowers which allows you to make a wish. "nothing is gain" im not that sure about this one
"Shall we form this distorted party and change what is written" Does that mean that they want to rewrite fate? To change the future that has been set for them?
#I swear I forgot to put add something here..I can't remember/recall though..#crystal hearts au#ensemble stars#enstars

there’s only two more things i’d mention aside from your super well made points about the current state of drontent, one about dnf/fan content and the other about stans.
i understand that parasocialism hit him hard after the face reveal and physically experiencing it is wildly different to experiencing it online but i think part of what he perceived as parasocialism was just the fandom coping.
for a long time there was little to no dream content (for good reason and i don’t blame him for it at all of course) and dnf artists and writers stepped up to fill that gap. not to discredit other ship artists and writers but there just weren’t as many as for dnf and they never got the same attention. this meant that the thing fuelling the fandom and therefore the thing most wildly discussed was fan content and as such was dnf.
this is relevant to the current state of things because by putting his dnf assertion in the truth video- the most serious video he has ever and will ever have to make- alongside some big boundary shifts and other insanely serious stuff he’s inadvertently cut down fan content at the knees.
there’s nowhere near as much ship or non ship fanfic, fanart, or just general fan creations as there was even a week before the truth dropped because nobody has the motivation and everyone is worried about what too far is, in the past he might have clarified/expanded on twitter or on a minecraft chatting stream but now we don’t have that association with him anymore basically at all.
so now we have no dream content and no fan content and people are using this assertion that he is innocent to make peace with the fandom and leave because there’s really not enough to keep people interested, it’s experiencing the post-october content drought without the weight on everyone’s shoulders that provided a tether to each other in a way.
on stans, i understand his new perspective but i think his u turn being completely unprecedented kind of blindsided people. dream fans and dream stans, especially in recent years, have been very self-regulating and very cognisant of dreams explicit wishes. if he was uncomfortable with the way stans were acting there’s a sense that he could have mentioned it to the fandom first before he accidentally provided people who hate his fandom with ammunition against them.
overall i just wish the handling of his expectations and wishes for his fanbase weren’t put on blast in such a way because it’s not done anything to ease the hostile perception of dream fans. sorry for essaying in your askbox btw and please don’t perceive this as me being a r/dwt2 level crazy it’s just that i miss dream, and moreso i miss the more comfortable days in the fandom when- even with the crazies and the infighting- there was some sense of unity and contentment and dream wasn’t afraid to come to us as just another person and offer guidance/engage with us casually.
oh this wasn't crazy at all anon. i totally get this for sure ! i agree, very well put

Crackhead The Owl House and Little Witch Academia theory time
Thank you so much @tanuki-pyon for contributing and helping this shit-post theory come to life
Okay so what if the Day of Unity happens, and it pushes back the advancement of human technology and society to what it may have been like six or seven hundred years ago. But the world's are still actually merged. And humans and witches over time have kids and basically become a single race.
Witch eventually just becomes a term to refer to practitioners of magic. Ears are now rounded because that's the dominant trait. While bile sacs are still a thing they can't fill bile ambiently, so Witches now have to depend on external sources to radiate the magic power for the bile sacs to pick up. Luckily it was found that the on long dead bodies of powerful witches the bile sacs had crystallized and could still draw ambient magic and radiate it. These crystals end up being called Philosopher Stones. Even with this solution though, the magic cannot be stored for long in a Witch's body so they begin depending more on wands to act as a secondary container for the magic bile. This caused a falloff of Palisman use which eventually caused them to fade into obscurity, any remaining Palisman live independent lives to any Witches, however, Palistrom Wood remains a powerful resource eventually being used to create the Clamioh Solais.
Eventually, the leftover ambient magic in the air from the Day of Unity begins to run out from being used up too fast so a majority of it gets sealed and as time passes society catches up to where it was before, not quite sure of how it all became this way.
But because humans lived alongside magic for so long its presence was no longer weird, this resulted in the creation of magic schools and certain aspects of life having magic present in it. After all this of is where Little Witch Academia starts, as the aftermath of The Owl House. Eventually some of Belos' old journals were found by Croix who used and adapted the shown designs into a new generation of magitech, eventually she used a more focused version of Belos' magic stealing technologies to create Dream Fuel Spirit which disrupts a Witch's ability to correctly channel magic, though the side-effect can be overcome eventually with enough hard work.
Also something something, the Cavendish family is descended from one of the Blight siblings and that's why Diana has green hair naturally.

HONESTLY I am really endeared to leviathan being the more incomprehensible brother AND am very interested to know what makes him particularly difficult to translate (both in text and when he’s speaking)... you’ve mentioned he uses a particular dialect and a lot of slang and I am so intrigued to hear the details 👀
Oh I will take ANY excuse to gush about language; I’m more than happy to dissect some of the more frustrating lines I’ve translated from Levi.
There are lots of times where Levi uses slang, either general colloquialisms or gaming terms, but because it’d take too long to find them all I gathered the ones I specifically complained about in the posts. I’ll sacrifice myself and re-translate them, breaking it down lol. With luck I’ll be able to get across why it was so frustrating.
First, I’ll break down a simple comment, to give an idea of what straightforward Japanese looks like.
俺もやってみたいな (ore mo yatte mitai na)
(Simeon’s comment from Create Your Own Avatar?) 俺: I も: also やって: From やる (to do), more colloquial than する み: From みる, in this case “to try” たい: Want な: A little bit of emphasis So together, it’s “I want to try it too.”
Japanese takes some getting used to, because the word order is very different, it loves postpositions, and you have to figure out what parts to group to get the right meaning, but it’s nothing that you can’t handle with a little practice and base knowledge.
As for Levi, well... that’s below the cut for length purposes.
神企画キター!! (kami-kikaku kitaa)
(From Idol Mammon) 神: Before a noun, 神 means “top notch.” It’s a productive prefix, so you can add it to a lot of things to suggest that it’s good quality. In the gaming world “godlike” is the general meaning. 企画: Planning, design キター: きた comes from くる (to come), and if it doesn’t make sense in the sentence literally, it probably means “here it is.” So together, it’s “Godlike planning!!”
By the way, in linguistics “productive” means that it’s still being used to make new words today. For example, -s to make a plural is productive, but -en (like in oxen) is unproductive.
これぞ真のリア充! (korezo shin no riajuu)
(From Chronicles of an Otaku) これぞ: This, but like. More powerful. It’s like “THIS,” emphasis on the this. 真の: Real, genuine リア充: Normie I think I translated it as “This is the true ultimate normie!”, where “ultimate” came from the strength of これぞ.
ぴょんブームだったんだよね (pyon buumu dattanda yo ne)
(From Mammon the Bunny) ぴょん: Boing, or jumping like a rabbit would ブーム: A boom, as in a fad だった: The past form of です (to be) ん: Kind of implies an explanation だよね: Either “isn’t it?” or “yep,” depending on the context. Since everything from だった on basically means “it was,” all we have left is “boing” and “fad.” So… “That was a bouncy boom”
そのままやないかーいwww (sono mama yanai kaai)
(From Where Did the Rabbit Go?) そのまま: The way things are, without anything changing やない: This is the kansai-ben part. The kansai dialect is (obviously) spoken in the kansai region, and is mainly characterized by the language of Osaka. やない replaces じゃない to mean “isn’t.” かーい: Also common in kansai-ben, but it’s basically an elongated か, which is a softer, more masculine question mark. やないかーい means “it is, isn’t it?” *Previously I said that it was specifically kansai-ben, but I don’t think it’s actually exclusive to that area. www: lolol It basically means “Nothing’s changed has it?” but with the obvious colloquialism I stylized it to be “Business as usual, huh?”
I don’t think Levi uses kansai-ben consistently, so I’m not entirely sure why he threw it in here. Maybe he’s just borrowing it because it sounds cool to him.
レッツサバヘルゲー! (rettsu sabaheru gee)
(From I’ll Protect You) This one is either pretty interesting, or kind of annoying. Survival game is サバイバルゲーム (sabaibaru geemu) or サバゲ (sabage). ゲー and ゲーム are the same, so there’s no problem there. But Levi says サバヘル (sabaheru), which has two options:
It’s a play on words, because ヘル means hell. Which is cool
Levi doesn’t pronounce things ever. Which would be really cool if Japanese wasn’t my third language and I wasn’t trying to understand it
I don’t remember if I talked about that in the post, but I was very tired when I made that post specifically, so. If it’s the wordplay option, unfortunately I couldn’t think of any way to give the same idea in English at the time (maybe survivhell itself would work?). The meaning is just “Let’s (play a) survival game!”
--
In terms of speaking, he’s mainly frustrating because the way words would be pronounced in textbook Japanese aren’t always how he pronounces them because... well, in the real world people don’t pronounce things the textbook way.
For example, if you listen to him say Leviathan (pronounced reviatan in Japanese) when entering battle, I kept hearing “rebiadang.” Phonologically, here’s probably why:
bi (ビ) is the more natural way to pronounce vi (ヴィ) in Japanese. Vi is pronounceable, but not natural.
da (ダ) instead of ta (タ) is a common case of voicing a voiceless consonant when it’s between two vowels.
In Japanese, /ng/ and /n/ are both ン, as in they don’t differentiate between those two sounds, and it went to the velar /ng/ because the next sound is /k/, also velar. Although you could argue that he does say /n/.
Looking back, it probably should have been obvious that “rebiadang” was “Leviathan,” but when you’re stressing to figure out what it is, the answer isn’t as clear.
I’m not going to try to explain how he pronounced ざまみろ because he kind of just... doesn’t say that. It sounded more like wario than mamiro to me.
If I had to explain what makes transcribing him hard, I’d say that he often cuts corners and sacrifices enunciation for speed. Lucifer also has a few consonants that get blended, usually with /k/ and /g/.
Honestly though, after the frustration in the moment, it’s great that Levi doesn’t sound like he’s right out of the Genki II textbook. It forces me to exercise my language muscles, and shows off how unique everyone can make their own manners of speaking! Keep being you, Levi, and I’ll keep figuring out what you mean by that.
#thank you for asking!! I love language :)#obey me#obey me leviathan#obey me translation#神企画キター is kind of a tongue twister lol

Sesskag week Day 7: hurt/comfort
Summery: Decades have passed since the Bone Eater’s well closed. Kagome discovers an injured Sesshoumaru within the shrine grounds one day, having fallen through time into her era. Until the well opens again, he is stuck within modern times, but finds an unlikely bond with the unaging, isolated miko. Oneshot. For Sesskag Week Day 7 - free day.
Rated T
7,700 words
AN: For the last Sesskag week prompt it was a free day, so I chose Hurt/comfort, with a side order of angst bc that's what I'm about lol sorry for the late entry.
Warning: some grief
(all prompts posted on Ao3, fanfic.net and Dokuga)
Together Alone
The sun blazed brilliant hues of orange as it ascended the horizon, slowly inching further into a tangerine sky. A figure stepped outside, feeling a slight breeze tease at the ends of her hair. Not for the first time, Kagome gave thanks to whoever had decided to build their home on a hill, blessing them with the ability to see the vast spread of Tokyo city. Flinching as she stepped out of the shade, blue eyes focused, and she blinked, adjusting to the light.
Walking further into the courtyard of the silent Higurashi shrine, she noted an abundance of leaves scattered around the place. Great piles of flame-filled colours had accumulated, spread out like her own personal confetti. Kagome smiled ruefully.
Autumn had arrived.
Having overslept, she took up a broom as an excuse to move stiff muscles. As she swept the stray leaves up, amusement touched her face. The image of a redhead fox leaping into the firey leaves played through her mind. She didn't stop to acknowledge the nostalgic thought.
As she brushed a few leaves with a little too much force into a waiting, bigger pile, Kagome noticed a tuft of something white sticking out of it. At first, she assumed it to be feathers of some sort and poked the broom over the pile slightly. Yet the more leaves she uncovered, the more white she found, until a particularly long strand of it made her pause.
Hair.
Her miko powers flickered like a forgotten lightbulb that had long since fizzled out, briefly awakening. Sensing a presence under the leaves, Kagome's face became unreadable as she crouched down. Beginning to pluck them off, some of the fine silky strands clung to her hands, and her fingers twitched in response. It felt so soft. The thick volume of hair eventually gave way to pale skin. Kagome's eyes widened. A pointed ear lay under the pad of her thumb. Hastily sweeping the remaining locks aside to reveal a demon's delicate features, the priestess stilled, breath catching.
To say he was beautiful was an understatement. Ethereal perhaps. She couldn't suppress the quiver in her fingers, spying magenta markings adorning his cheeks. Her heart thundered, and she swallowed thickly.
"Sesshoumaru."
Viciously suppressing the ache in her chest, she held out hope that he wasn't lying dead on her doorstep.
Shaking his shoulder, she noted the muscle beneath her palm that his slim figure belied. He was dressed exactly as she remembered, albeit a bit more rumpled, armour broken.
"Hey-" she cleared her throat. "Wake up sleeping beauty."
Feeling for a pulse, a steady thrum fluttered under her fingers.
Kagome gave a huge sigh of relief even as his eyes remained closed.
Reaching through the pile and awkwardly sliding her hands under his arms, Kagome was heedless of the falling leaves scattering around them as she started dragging him. Hoping the Daiyoukai wouldn't kill her for touching him without permission, she heaved, returning back inside with her unexpected guest.
----
Stirring a few hours later, a bright cosmos of golden fire burned alive within demonic irises as his eyes snapped open, blinking up at the ceiling.
"Where...?"
Kagome sat in an armchair near the couch he lay upon, reading. She turned when hearing his voice, rising. "You're in my home."
The moment his gaze swung to her, Sesshoumaru jolted upright. He stared in disbelief, raking his attention down her body. "Impossible."
"I didn't die all those years ago, so I'd say it's pretty probable that I can stand here in front of you," she smiled a little, offering him a glass of water that had been waiting on the table.
Sesshoumaru's eyes widened, shifting fractured attention around the room, returning it to her and observing the contours of her face. "Why have you not aged?" he carefully inquired. "Many years have passed. 20, if memory serves."
Kagome's lips thinned and she set the glass down again. "I dunno, something happened with the jewel or the well. I couldn't figure out which, so-" she smiled wryly, spreading her arms out and turning in a circle. "I'm pretty much physically stuck at age 16. Even though I'm actually around 36. I don't know if I'm just not aging or if I'm immortal. It sucks."
He blinked, scenting the air. "...This one is not picking up the smell of death lingering around you as it does with all humans. Immortality can be assumed then."
A complicated expression crossed her face. "O-oh," she murmured, falling quiet.
Raising a brow, the demon ghosted long claws over his face, something slowly occurring to him. "How did this one come to be here?"
Kagome shook herself and scrambled to retain her bravado. "I should be asking you that. Sleeping in a pile of leaves isn't what I expected from the mighty Lord Sesshoumaru. Then again, you always were quite in touch with nature. Going on long walks and stuff," she smiled a little.
"Hn," Sesshoumaru shifted his feet over the edge of the couch, brushing long hair back and stopping to remove a few leaves. "I should be going," he said primly.
"Uh- sorry for interfering but do you even know where you are?"
"Of course I do," he tutted, before hissing and stilling. Pressing a hand to his side, he felt the rough scrape of bandages under his clothing. They were wrapped around his ribs. His face skittered with an unnamed expression, pinning her with a dark look.
Kagome had the grace to seem mildly guilty before her gaze turned flat. "I put your clothes back on after binding your wounds. You're welcome."
"I did not ask for your assistance." His lip lifted, exposing a fang while pressing his palm against his side protectively. Yet he felt no serious wounds, and that the miko had assisted him while he'd been vulnerable was something he had no choice but to acknowledge.
Kagome's hand raised in a placating gesture. "You're on the defensive, I understand that. But don't get crabby," she drew closer. "We were allies in our fight against Naraku. You can still trust me, even if it has been a while."
The passionate, cold glow in his eyes lessened slightly, and Sesshoumaru exhaled. "...This one recalls fighting near the Bone Eater's Well. An enemy struck- and I…" a steel edge threaded his calm voice, obviously frustrated.
Kagome's brows drew together, "you fell down the well," she finished softly, face drawn. "I wonder why it opened to let you through. It's always been closed for me, ever since that day a long time ago."
"Perhaps it is still open?"
The miko looked sceptical and jaded, breathing out and pushing some hair behind her ear.
"I must see-" he stood, eyes widening as his knees buckled. Kagome quickly caught him about the shoulders, pressing against the hard line of his body in order to steady him. Sesshoumaru's nose briefly dipped into soft, dark hair. She smelled of warm home comforts and the stifled tease of holy power brimming under her skin.
It dazed him enough not to realise she'd gently guided him back down to sit. "Stay here, mister. I can't be lugging you about again if you collapse," blue eyes danced. "I'll go take a look. Be back in a flash," Kagome released him and walked from the room.
Sesshoumaru stared, before turning his attention to the structure he found himself in. The house lay near-silent, but he could detect the faint, gravely sound of breathing in another room. A human. Older, weak.
It smiled faintly of feline too, and his keen gaze sought out the thin, discarded hairs of a shedding house-cat littered on the arm of a chair. His nose wrinkled.
Kagome's home also held the strange, buzzing feeling of energy running through its walls like a nervous system. He followed the hum of power down the side of a wall, trailing his eyes over bizarre, thin black rope connecting to a square box in the corner of the room.
"No dice."
He jolted, bristling at being caught unawares. Kagome smiled gently from the threshold, a faint sheen over her eyes.
Sesshoumaru blinked, not picking up the trace of tears. She'd held them back.
"Explain."
"The well is closed again, so looks like you're stuck for the time being," Kagome hummed, tapping her chin. Noticing the alarm flashing in his eyes, she changed her tone to an assuring one. "If it opened once to let you through, I'm confident it'll do it again. You can take the time to heal here in the meantime, no one will harm you. I think I mentioned this to you before but there's no fighting or killing in Tokyo like in your era, so be on your best behaviour during your stay. There's a garden out back, and a small amount of trees bordering it if you want peace and quiet. I don't think it's a good idea for you to leave the shrine though."
"...Very well," he muttered quietly.
Thinking for a moment, the demon decided it bothered him enough to inquire; "who is the aged human in this house? I hear them."
Surprise skittered over her face, soon gentling. "That's my Grandpa. I live here with him alone- ah- aside from Pyon."
Sesshoumaru sneered. "The feline."
Kagome blinked and burst into a delicate laugh- and had it always been so dusty and gentle? For some reason he recalled it being more full of life and childish.
"You'll have to grin and bear it, for the time being at least," she winked. "Want something to eat?"
"I do not consume human food."
Kagome pursed her mouth, and Sesshoumaru fought the incredibly random urge to take her bottom lip between his teeth, quickly shaking himself. "I've got some fresh meats from the market. No seasoning or anything. Will those do?"
"Hn."
---
Due to his demonic blood, Sesshoumaru merely needed to lounge on the couch for a few more hours before feeling his wound tentatively heal.
He listened, hearing shuffling upstairs and Kagome's gentle voice. Sesshoumaru looked over the back of the couch to observe an incredibly aged human move stiffly into view at the top of the stairs. Kagome helped him onto a chair- which then began to slowly descend the steps via a mechanism attached to the wall.
Sesshoumaru stared.
He had never seen such an old man. Usually, mortals died before managing to reach such an age, vulnerable to disease and such. Kagome followed and helped him to the armchair in the living beside Sesshoumaru, smiling at the demon.
"Grandpa, this is-"
"Demon," the old man rasped in an accusing voice, not looking in his direction.
Sesshoumaru arched a brow.
Kagome beamed. "Yes, Grandpa! But his name is Sesshoumaru. Mind your manners."
"Inuyasha can like it or lump it," Grandpa huffed, pressing a small device. The square box suddenly flared to life, making the demon jolt.
Loud noises assaulted his ears, tiny mortals behind the screen doing bizzare things, dressed in costume and talking very animatedly about a- Sesshoumaru squinted- energy drink?
Gentle fingers smoothed over mokomoko. Golden eyes snapped to her touch, noticing the bristling fur she was trying to calm.
"It's just television. This is what people watch for entertainment or if they're bored."
Sesshoumaru made a non-committal noise. He didn't like it.
Kagome smiled at him sympathetically and offered a hand- which the Daiyoukai reluctantly took, pride stinging. He grit sharp teeth while they made their journey through the house, disliking her soothing closeness and the fact that he found her scent appealing.
Eventually, they made it outside, stepping into the lush, rich sunlight and walking through the courtyard that stretched wide. Sesshoumaru glanced around. "The smell of smoke and other fumes are distinct here."
"It's because of the city," Kagome murmured, arm around his waist to hold him steady. He suspected it was a habit she'd gained from looking after Grandpa. The demon did not need her assistance but also neglected to push her away. "That's Tokyo- see. It's what Kaede's village will become."
Golden eyes followed the point of her finger, gazing out at the large, bustling city beyond the shrine. It looked nothing like he'd ever seen before. Their buildings were tall and imposing. He knew the miko to be from the future, but Sesshoumaru hadn't taken much time to envision what it would be like.
"Why do I not sense any demons?" he muttered.
Kagome winced, avoiding his gaze. "I don't know. I haven't sensed them in the city."
"They are likely cloaking themselves from detection then," Sesshoumaru confidently assumed. Anything else was unthinkable.
The miko didn't reply, watching him glance around.
"Hn, this one was going to sleep out here. However, I do not think it would be a peaceful rest."
"If the garden isn't to your liking then I'm not sure what else to recommend. I do have several plants inside my room, they can make the air feel more clear, right? You can sleep there if you want."
"Very well," he uttered, moving to brush past her. A hiss escapes clenched teeth when his ribs blazed to life with pain and he found herself resting against her side for a moment. Kagome's warm hand felt steady on his waist. She didn't breathe a word, assisting him back inside.
---
It was a painstaking process to try and usher the proud demon up the stairs. Kagome had almost suggested taking Grandpa's stairlift before Sesshoumaru's narrowed gaze had swung to her, stifling the words on her tongue.
"Is this is your room?" he asked once they reached it.
"My childhood bedroom to be exact. I sleep in Mama's old room now," Kagome arched a brow, expecting his sharp tongue. "Is it to your liking, my Lord?" she teased.
"It is very… pink."
A smile quirked her lips. "Hopefully the bed is big enough for you. There's a bathroom in the hallway if you want to be experimental and take a shower. There's always a bath too. Do you need anything else?"
"No."
"Alrighty then, goodnight."
Kagome's heel drew back and she turned, moving away. She was rewarded with the soft cadence of his voice.
"...Thank you."
She blinked, wondering why those words made warmth fan into her hollow feeling chest. Glancing over her shoulder, the miko watched with fascination as he settled onto her much too small bed, silver hair tumbling down to the floor. Leaving soon after, a buzzing took flight in her ears that thrummed through her bloodstream.
Tears pricked blue eyes, and Kagome leaned heavily against a wall once she'd reached the privacy of her own bedroom, pressing a hand to her mouth. Unmitigated relief choked fire up her throat, battling with resentment.
She'd worked hard. She'd worked so damn hard to keep the memories of her friends in the feudal era hidden away in a box. To continue living every day in the cold, repetitive present time.
Cramming her feelings away into that neat and tidy box again, Kagome pushed away from the wall to go check on Grandpa for the umpteenth time.
---
Mama had died at the much too early age of 57.
It had been so long since the well had closed. Now at 36, Kagome supposed she should've probably shared her secret with more people, to keep her in a friendship circle of some sort. Souta had moved out, married and had kids. He still visited sometimes but it didn't feel like nearly enough. She supposed her isolation made her needy, though Kagome never voiced it.
Sesshoumaru had gotten antsy waiting around. He'd consumed almost all the reading material in her house already during his stay, soaking in information like a sponge. "I wish to see the city," he uttered, shooting the cat a glare as Pyon brushed against her leg, purring. "Despite the foul smells, if this one is to remain here for a little while longer, I should like to know my surroundings."
Kagome hadn't refused but had given a few conditions. One was that he couldn't go off on his own (lest he be angered and melt a car) and two, that he looked and dressed the part.
Dying her own hair the colour of chestnut in the bathroom, Kagome had offered a bottle of black hair dye for the demon lord. Sesshoumaru, while holding his nose, had flatly refused.
To her surprise then, he'd swept claw-tipped hands through snowy silver locks, the colour bleeding dark black.
"H-how did you do that?" she'd asked, rinsing her hair over the tub.
"It is a simple enough thing to modify one's appearance when you are a strong enough youkai," he'd sniffed.
When she'd finally finished up and wandered downstairs, he flicked his attention over her appearance just as she drank him in. The magenta stripes and crescent moon were missing, claws retracted but nails still sharp. He couldn't hide the pointed ears, so had swept dark hair into a low ponytail so that the thick volume of strands covered them.
Kagome's hair had been cut shorter, now above her shoulders and appearing brunette.
"Would it not be easier for you to wear a wig?" he asked, uncertain why she needed a disguise too.
She blinked as though roused from a dream, cheeks colouring. "Maybe, but it feels easier to step into a different persona like this. Besides, it's been so long since I last wandered around outside the shrine. We tend to get all our stuff delivered here."
Sesshoumaru arched a brow. "How long has it been?"
"I think 5 months?"
He stared but didn't say another word. In accordance with her conditions, Kagome uncovered father's old clothes from the depths of the attic. Mother had kept them in mint condition for years, so she'd refrained from discarding them. Sesshoumaru dressed in the old white shirt, business shoes and suit jacket, finding the latter a little too small.
"Can't you just enlarge your body into it if 'it's simple enough to modify one's appearance?" Kagome teased.
He tossed her a dry look. "Outward appearance. Some things cannot be changed. If I could adjust myself so easily, I'd have re-grown my severed limb much quicker."
She giggled, trying not to eye him in the navy suit. Noticing his struggle with the black-tie, she sighed and drew closer, reaching up and fixing it.
Golden eyes snapped to her face, body stilling as though waiting for something. Kagome flashed a small smile, gently tapping the area beneath his eye. "You'll have to do something about these as well," she murmured.
Pale lashes lowered slightly, animalistic pupils rounding. Gold dulled into earthy brown tones. "Humans are so plain in appearance."
Kagome pinched his side. "Rude," drawing away and grabbing some contacts, she slid brown over her naturally blue eyes.
Sesshoumaru frowned, wandering outside into the stuffy, clogging city air. Perhaps to humans, it didn't smell so intense, but he was Daiyoukai. Superior senses were hard to mute.
Hearing the creak of wheels, he glanced over one shoulder, watching Kagome help Grandpa outside, pushing his wheelchair. "You are bringing him?" he uttered flatly.
Some of her old temper sparked across her face. "I can't leave him alone, and besides, Grandpa could use the fresh air."
"Are the sakura blossoms in bloom yet?" the old man asked listlessly.
She smiled, tucking the blanket over his legs a little neater. "No, Grandpa. We're in September, so it's a little late."
He grumbled in discontentment, becoming quiet as Kagome wheeled him towards the back of the shrine. Beyond the trees was a road that zig-zagged down to houses.
"What are you doing?"
Kagome glanced back at Sesshoumaru, who stood within the courtyard near the stone stairs she'd used to take for walking to school. "I can't wheel Grandpa down those steps. Well- I can, but it'll take a lot longer and I'm- AHH!" she yelped, feeling an arm wrap around her waist and yank so that both feet left the ground. Sesshoumaru then reached down and lifted Granpa's chair above his head with one hand- the old man barely reacting to the elevation.
Sesshoumaru lept into the air, sailing down the shrine steps in a fast descent, dark hair fanning out behind him. Kagome screamed, clutching his side as the demon carried them down like they were nothing more than pizza boxes he needed to deliver.
Touching down at the bottom of the stairs and releasing her, Sesshoumaru set Grandpa down, who hummed.
"Thank ye, Inuyasha."
"I am not Inuyasha."
Panting, Kagome clutched at the floor, whipping her head up to glare at him. "What the hell?! Don't do that without warning! Someone could've seen- Grandpa could've fallen!"
Sesshoumaru snorted. "You act as though this one could make such an error."
Growling, she straightened and started wheeling the old man down the street. Trying to ignore the thrilling flush of her cheeks or the memory of flying through the air on Kirara or Inuyasha's back, she shook herself. Her heart hadn't thundered so fast in years. "Behave yourself or we go home."
Cutting his eyes to the sky, Sesshoumaru followed at a languid pace.
---
Tokyo proved to be ridiculously large. Sesshoumaru had assumed he'd be able to traverse the city on his own if the two mortals slowed him down, but as it was, he feared getting lost within the bowels of technology, noisy arcades and large buildings.
Walking around made him more aware of the ill-fitting suit jacket, though he did not protest. Oddly enough the miko took him to a store and bought a sleek black jacket that was more his size. He'd glanced at the price tag and noticed the card she used to pay, wondering how she supported herself.
Kagome took him to more shops and bought more casual wear for the house, including a grey oversized hoodie that he resolved to burn the second they got back.
Finally sitting down at a table outside a cafe, Sesshoumaru took a few breaths. Smells from many different types of foods flooded his nostrils, along with the deafening sounds of thousands of people moving around in huge clusters. He'd been trying to ignore it for hours. His head spun with the onslaught of new sensations and scents. Too much.
"Hey-" Kagome touched his shoulder. "Are you alright?"
Sesshoumaru eyed her, nostrils flaring. Unfortunately, her usual pleasant scent radiating from her hair had been tarnished by the dye. His attention slid to the material wrapped around her neck.
"Give me your scarf."
"Hm?" She blinked but readily relinquished it, handing it over. "Cold?"
"No," he scoffed, wrapping it around his neck and ducking his nose into the material, inhaling. The scent of gentle citrus and warm home comforts filled his senses, soothing them like a gentle caress.
Kagome's cheeks reddened and she glanced away, helping Grandpa eat his soup.
"Izumi?"
Jolting, she looked up in time with Sesshoumaru, who eyed the young male standing near their table with immediate annoyance. He looked happy and star-struck, no doubt harbouring a crush on the miko.
Kagome forced a smile and stood. "Ryota, hey. How are things?"
"They're good! I'm so happy to see you out and about," he burst. "You should've called me- you know you're welcome to come around any time. Dad wouldn't mind!"
"I'm sure he wouldn't," she smiled delicately, not protesting as Ryota took her hand and squeezed it.
Sesshoumaru bristled and busied himself with sipping his tea.
"Ah um- Ryota, this is my friend, Nao," Kagome introduced Sesshoumaru, who inclined his head. Ryota bowed slightly, eyes darting between them questioningly and finding his attention caught on the pink scarf wrapped snugly around the demon's neck. While Kagome chatted some more, Sesshoumaru dipped his head and inhaled the material again, maintaining eye contact with the male. Ryota looked mildly creeped out, which only made Sesshoumaru preen, thinking he'd successfully intimidated him.
"Kagome, did you get me some green tea?" Grandpa spoke up.
Instead of being suspicious, Ryota merely looked sympathetic as she nudged the tea into his hand and carefully helped him take a sip, arthritis having made his fingers stiff.
"I see your Grandpa hasn't improved," the young man whispered to her, before raising his voice to an obnoxiously loud, patronising level. Or at least Sesshoumaru thought of it that way. "Hello, sir! HOW… ARE… YOU… TODAY?" Ryota patted Grandpa on the shoulder.
He grumbled sourly in response, sipping his tea. It didn't detour the teen, who smiled at Kagome.
"Well, the offer is always open, Izumi. It must be so lonely up in that shrine by yourself."
"I'm really alright. I have Grandpa for company," Kagome gently dismissed.
"Give me a text any time. I gotta get back to class but I'll see you later," he said amiably, hurrying into the passing crowd while checking his watch.
Waving him away, Kagome retook her seat with a sigh, "whew. He's sweet but I feel like saying 'buddy, I'm actually old enough to be your mom'," she giggled, pausing and noticing Sesshoumaru's stare. "What?"
"Nothing."
Feeling the need to explain, she sighed. "I was friends with his father in school. I can't hang around him too much or there's a chance Hojo might show up and likely recognise me. I faked my death years ago because I stopped ageing and have been posing as Souta's daughter ever since. We've arranged it so that I look like I'm homeschooled. This way… I can keep living at the shrine and looking after Grandpa."
"That explains why you do not leave the grounds much," he uttered, reading the menu and flicking his gaze up to her. "You are afraid."
"Wouldn't you be?" Kagome snorted. "People might perform science experiments on me if they knew I wasn't ageing!"
"I do not think that is the reason behind your fear."
She bristled and glanced away, telling him he'd hit the nail on the head. "Who knew you were the type to psychoanalyse," forcing a smile, she giggled and stood. "Drink your tea. I'll go pay for our things," she wandered off.
Sesshoumaru watched her go, halting Grandpa's chair without looking as the old man unknowingly tried to wheel backwards into traffic.
"You should take better care of her, Inuyasha," the old man huffed.
"Hn," his eyes remained on the miko.
---
Several hours later, after they'd seen the sights of the city some more and experienced a train ride, the small group had wandered home and immediately headed to bed. Sesshoumaru appeared within her bedroom not long after.
A dark halo of ebony hair spread out on her pillows, the locks curled in disarray. He noted that she slept very quietly, knees tucked up and hands drawn close to her chest. She looked every bit as beautiful and innocent as he'd figured a young priestess could be, but the shapely line of her legs and outline of certain curves made him certain she'd kept up her physical training long after the need for bows and arrows had died out. A pity her powers had been malnourished.
The bed dipped with his weight as he sat beside her, large claw-tipped hand reaching out- thumb ghosting over her parted lips, hovering over the pulse at her neck.
Kinship with a human felt odd. Yet he couldn't deny the telltale flickers of relatability he'd witnessed. He too, remained the same as others around him grew old. That was the price of keeping company with mortals. She was like him, and yet not. Instead of becoming integrated with humans as he had, she'd shut herself away within the shrine; afraid of the pain of loss. Kagome wore loneliness like a cloak, draping it around her protectively. She was now more like a demon than a human in lifespan, but her heart was not befitting of one. Now she almost resembled a half-demon.
And she needed a pack.
Some sickening, cloying emotion dried up his throat, leaving it parched and scratched. It hurt to swallow. His claws quivered, merely inches from delicate skin, before his fingers clenched and drew away.
Kagome did not stir as he moved off the bed, leaving as silently as he'd appeared.
Unbeknownst to the demon, deep blue eyes slowly drew open.
---
"You have not asked about them," he pointed out a few days later.
Kagome paused in her cleaning, before resuming scrubbing a pot with distracted motions. "I guess not."
Memories rose to the surface like a scuffed knee threatening to bleed but Kagome shook them away. "I'm not ready to know what happened to them yet," she amended, softer. "What about you though, how's your uh… stronghold?"
Sesshoumaru blinked languidly. "What?"
"Your palace?" she tried again, seeing another equally blank look. "Estate?" Groaning when he said nothing, Kagome waved her hands in frustration. "Aren't you a Lord or something?"
"Ah," he finally responded, glancing away dismissively. "You heed Jaken too much. I have no official home."
It was Kagome's turn to stare. "H-hah?"
Sesshoumaru arched a delicate brow as though she were the foolish one for daring to assume a regal demon clad in expensive silks had a shiny castle to return to. "My father was a General, and he claimed territory over the Western Lands, but he did not rule it like a Lord. My mother is more high born than he. She dwells within a castle and has noble blood-"
Kagome's eyes lit up.
"But I have no lands to inherit."
She deflated. "So you're a vagabond."
He brushed some hair over one shoulder. "I prefer to think of it as; no one may house me. I may go where I please."
Kagome eyed him dryly. "You're single, aren't you?"
He bristled. "What does that have to do with anything?"
"Figures," Kagome huffed and lifted the pot, walking to the cupboard as she dried it. "You sound like some sort of playboy bachelor with that 'no one can house me' stuff. Honestly, now that I'm paying attention, you really do sound as young as you look. Like you're 19-" she stopped herself from bumping into his chest as he suddenly stood close.
"... I do not take many lovers," he muttered. "But when I do, it is not for 'play.' I assure you I can be quite serious in a relationship." He loomed closer, breath fanning over her cheek. "Do you wish for a sample?" He asked in a silky voice.
Kagome flushed and huffed, elbowing him out of the way to put the pot within a cupboard. What a joker.
----
Wandering downstairs that night, Kagome stopped, noticing something and doing a double-take. Sesshoumaru lay sprawled on the couch, silver hair tumbling down onto the floor as he slept soundlessly. Pyon was curled up on his stomach-and even stranger was the fact that Sesshoumaru's arm curled beneath him, supporting the feline from falling off.
Kagome crept closer, looking at them from over the back of the couch.
She examined his face in the dim light. It was ridiculously, absurdly handsome, closed long lashes hiding golden eyes that could pierce through her shell and pry into her essence. Cheekbones you could cut diamonds with, framed by neatly parted, snowy bangs.
All the magic from Kagome's experiences in the feudal era was now contained in this one man. A demon that most feared and cowered before. She wondered if she wanted him close simply because of nostalgia, or because he brought her joy in his quiet sarcasm and stable presence.
But he'd leave her too, one day.
Kagome's smile bent into a painful curl of her lips.
Sesshoumaru's nostrils flared and he inhaled- before golden eyes slid open. She stiffened and tried to smooth her forlorn expression into something more amiable. "S-sorry, I'm not watching you sleep, I swear!" she babbled. "Was just wondering if you'd checked the Bone Eater's Well for any changes tonight."
"No."
"Ah, gotcha," Kagome floundered. "At least when it does open, your injuries have all healed so you're fine to go."
"Is that what you want?"
She stopped, feeling like she'd been denied an expected step on the stairs and felt her foot plummet through the ground. Reeling, her heart picked up speed. "Of course it is," Kagome said quickly, turning away. "The Fuedal Era is where you belong, silly. You've been a lovely guest. Really, I've enjoyed it. For a vagabond, you fold your clothes neatly and don't make a mess. You read a lot, so it's still pretty quiet, but you also..." her voice became brittle, "you also- play shoji with Grandpa and make great tea. When I do things, I know you're not too far away. It's been nice. I mean that."
Making to walk away, she was halted by a firm hand catching her wrist. Sesshoumaru had sat up now, disturbing the cat and staring at her with unblinking eyes.
"You should come with me."
Her stomach twisted and she shook her head, looking at him with tired eyes. "I can't."
"Nonsense."
"I have Grandpa to look after."
"Your brother could easily-"
"No, he couldn't," Kagome cut in. "Souta has a wife and a big family to support. He gives us money- weren't you wondering how we're kept afloat? I try to help by doing online work but Grandpa isn't someone you can just expect to look after so easily on top of everything else. I couldn't ask or expect Souta to take over just for me to run off and play in the Feudal Era again, abandoning a life I've known for decades now."
White teeth flashed, exposing a sneer in the dim light, his eyes narrow. "Your Grandfather will be dead soon."
Sesshoumaru never regretted anything. He was too strong, too proud, too confident to make a misstep. And yet at that moment, he regretted the words immediately after they were out.
If she were younger, still the spirited girl of 15 he'd known and the person she outwardly resembled- Sesshoumaru wagered she'd have slapped him. Instead, the miko gave him something that felt altogether much worse; a look of disappointment.
As a demon, he never felt like a young pup except within the presence of his mother and ancient elders, but he experienced it again, watching as she slowly padded to the threshold of the doorway.
"Yeah, he will be. And after Grandpa and Souta go, I'm never going to get attached to anyone again. It's too painful. But I'm making the most of the time with him I have left. Besides," Kagome glanced at him tiredly. "From where we sit, won't everyone eventually be dead soon?"
Sesshoumaru's eyes flickered as she left. The image of Rin with her husband and children, all eventually greying and leaving him alone passed through his mind.
It was true, the miko could theoretically return with him to the past. However, what awaited her would be the same. Time's cruelty working it's will on her friends and everyone she'd used to know in the village.
Drawing himself up and absentmindedly grabbing Bakusaiga, Sesshoumaru wandered to the Well House. He stood within its damp structure for a while in silence, not particularly waiting for a response any more, rather trying to gather his scattered thoughts.
The scent of nameless magic stirred in the breeze. He stiffened, lifting his head and scenting the cool air. Silver bangs lifted to sway, silks rustling. With a small hop, he stood on the mouth of the well, gazing into its dark depths.
With just one jump he'd be home.
Sesshoumaru's muscles coiled, heart thundering. Pushing off from the edge, he took the plunge.
----
Stifling the sound of tears in the bathroom by keeping the faucet running and muffling sobs into her hand, Kagome cried. She hadn't done so in a long time. The action felt childish, but a welcome sensation. Pent up stress, loneliness and frustration burst like a dam. She'd felt the whisper of magic. The call back to the Bone Eater's Well. It had been fleeting, gone now, along with any happy feelings that had been elicited because of Sesshoumaru's surprise presence into her life.
"Stupid," she mumbled, splashing her face with water while bending over the sink. "Stupid, stupid- he was always going to leave."
I shouldn't have gotten attached.
But Kagome was a people person at heart. She'd been afraid. So deathly afraid of getting close to someone and having them leave again. Why had she slipped? Because he would live a long time, just like her?
"That doesn't make him beholden to me- stupid, stupid-"
"Enough."
A jolt shuddered through her system, making Kagome whip her head up to blink at the mirror. Sesshoumaru's reflection lingered in the open doorway behind her, crossing the distance between them as she turned. Lithe fingers ceased her chin. "It is admirable, how hard you have tried to appear unruffled and happy, miko," he muttered lowly. "But you cannot fool my superior senses. I have felt you crying out for pack all this time."
Her expression shuddered, crumbling before his very eyes. "Y-you stayed?" she croaked.
"Naturally," a sharp claw brushed over her jaw gently, collecting the evidence of forgotten tears. "Something I have come to understand over the years is that; One does not abandon pack."
Kagome's breathing hitched, feeling the keen press of a great weight sinking into her chest and rendering her exhausted. Relief. Wilting like a flower, she leaned into his strong frame, burying her face in the warmth of his shoulder. The demon lowered his head slightly, both soaking in the presence and stability of the other for a moment. Her thin shoulders shook, small noises escaping her.
He growled into her hair. "Your idea of remaining unattached does not suit you. Look at yourself, miko. You grew attached to me of all beings," he smirked slightly. "I do not think you can handle remaining separate from people. You love humans too much. And… besides that… I believe it should be you telling me to make the most of the time spent with others, not the other way around. To make bonds, and keep them."
Lifting her head, Kagome brushed the hot trace of tears away and sniffed. "But it hurts," she said in a wobbling tone. "Aren't you scared of outliving Rin and everyone else in the village?"
"I am not afraid. She and her husband have shared many years together, and I will watch over their offspring for generations," he paused, considering. "Though I am...uncertain how I shall process the grief once it comes."
"You're still going back, aren't you?" Kagome murmured.
"Indeed, and you are coming with me."
She sighed, rubbing her forehead. "Grandpa-"
"We will stay for as long as he lives. After that, you should return home, miko."
Kagome threw him a weary smirk. "And if I refuse?"
"Then, I suppose this one is staying in the Modern Era."
Blue eyes flew wide, fingers curling in his clothes and tightening. She rested her cheek against his shoulder again, letting out a long exhale and calming when his chin rested against the crown of her head.
---
Sesshoumaru did not regret his decision. It was to be just three months before Grandpa passed away in the night. He imagined what would've happened to the miko if he'd left her alone; how she stood together with the other humans at the wake and yet apart. It was the most amount of human's he'd witnessed within the shrine at the same time. Detached via some thin veil, Kagome moved around them like vapour. Cordial and polite, yes, but surface level and unattached. Everyone referred to her as Izumi. No one inquired about her grief.
Souta hugged his sister after the funeral ceremony, and she clung to him. After a little while, however, she lifted her head smiled, letting him go check on his five children.
Sesshoumaru drew close to her side, sweeping his gaze down her black kimono. The colour only brought out the pallor of her skin. He did not speak, but she seemed to read his unspoken question.
"It wasn't as hard as Mama's funeral," she murmured, rubbing her eyes. "I think I'd like to get away from all this for a while though. Wanna come for a drive with me?"
He arched an elegant brow. "You know how to?"
"I got my licence when I was still Kagome Higurashi," she stuck out her tongue. "Souta will let me borrow his car. Come on."
After grabbing the keys, they walked through the graveyard where the remains of cremations had been buried. Passing by a Hinako Higurashi whom Sesshoumaru assumed to be the miko's mother, he stopped upon seeing a certain grave.
'Kagome Higurashi'
He stared, unable to identify what he felt looking at the grave.
"Are you coming?" Kagome called from ahead.
Shaking himself, the demon left it alone, but carried those feelings with him even as he walked away.
---
Driving through the city that night, Kagome tightened her hands on the steering wheel. Despite having lived with Grandpa longer than anyone at the funeral, she just couldn't mourn with the family. Instead of talking about it, she glanced at Sesshoumaru and smiled gently.
"I'm ready to hear about them now."
And he told her, detailing how Inuyasha had fallen in love with a woman who passed through the village one day, about four years after the well had closed. She'd been looking for someone to escort her through dangerous territory. She was not miko nor demon Slayer but a competent hunter who seemed to bear a chip on her shoulder. Inuyasha had gravitated to her like a moth to a flame. Upon their return, they'd announced themselves as a couple and married soon after, two sons following.
Kagome listened, expression wistful. The street lights played over her face as they passed by buildings, her eyes a deep blue, mournful yet pleased at the same time. Sesshoumaru went on to talk about Rin's marriage to Kohaku, Shippo's growth and proficiency in magic, Kaede's passing and Miroku and Sango's fourth child.
They sounded happy, and her heart swelled for them.
Pulling the car over to take a detour down a path on the outskirts of the city, she followed the trail up to a hill that overlooked a harbour. Sitting on the hood together and gazing at the stars, her hand found his.
Ageless attention slid to the miko, who kept her doleful gaze on the heavens. "...Life expectancy isn't very high in the feudal era," she murmured quietly.
He knew her unspoken fears. Going back only to lose her mortal friends within a few years of her return no doubt felt daunting.
Long, deadly fingers shifted to close around hers, holding firmly.
"This one will stay with you," he uttered.
Kagome looked at him, hope starting to coax itself alive in her eyes. "R-really?"
"Hn," the demon rumbled, a vow in his voice. "I will be your constant."
Quelling under the seriousness conveyed in his expression, Kagome exhaled. She touched his shoulder, curling her hand there and smiling shyly, daring to believe him. "Even you'll die one day, Killing Perfection."
A velvety, confident chuckle rumbled out of him. "Not for another 2,000 years or so. Perhaps more. Is that sufficient?"
"I guess it'll have to be," Kagome teased, curling into his side and sighing as his large hand splayed over her back. "When you get close to the end..." she said softly, words a whispered, fragile thing. A vow, just as he'd promised for her. "I'll stop there. When you go, I'll go."
Sesshoumaru glanced down at her, tightening his arm and curling a hand into dark, wild hair. The two continued to bask in one another's energies, faint youki and reiki playing across their skin and weaving in a playful, familiar skitter of auras, finally lacing together firmly like clasped fingers.
Months later, Higurashi Shrine would open to the public again, sold by Souta and allowing the structure to be placed under a new family name.
There was no Izumi Higurashi or mysterious 'Nao' walking around the grounds any more. Tree branches swayed, leaves rustling and falling loose to dance around the forgotten well house, which had been boarded up due to disrepair.
The magic within had finally run completely dry; spent on transporting an immortal miko and prideful demon back home.

SB69 Comiket 97 limited Illustration book: Ambivalence Black
Hello! I know I’m very late to post this because Comiket 97 happened in December 2019 but since now I have a blog dedicated to SB69, I want to share the limited goods I got my hands on~
Every twice a year(Comiket is a biannual event) SB69 will have a booth at Comiket! Though, because of the COVID-19 situation this 2020, Comiket 98 and 99 was cancelled...
Anyways! SB69 started selling these comiket limited illustration books since Comiket 93. Cyan, Titan, Ailane and Crow were the covers for 93 and it was Rosia and Shu Zo for 94. I didn’t manage to get them tho..TwT
For some reason they didn’t produce any for Comiket 95 and 96 but then...! The limited illustration book is back for Comiket 97, with Darudayu and Aion as the covers! The illustrations are named Ambivalence Black this time~
I actually got a friend (non-SB69er..) to help me get the goods because they were in Japan for Comiket 97 so I can’t say anything about the booth itself...but I’m so thankful for them to help me get these limited goods!!
From the Twitter, I read that the book comes with a bromide (Crow, Cyan, Titan, Shu Zo, Rosia or Darudayu) and a keychain of either Darudayu or Aion. I didn’t really mind who I got for the keychain but I really wanted Titan or Cyan for the bromide. However, apparently everything were like pre-packed according to my friend.
Here’s an image of the goods! I got Darudayu for the bromide and Aion for the keychain~

Here’s the illustration of Aion for the front cover! Meccha cool...

And Darudayu for the back cover! SHE’S SO PRETTY...

Of course, now, the contents! It’s an illustration book so yea, the book contains full illustrations of bromides from the previous SB69 game (not Fes a Live, Shobafes wasn’t even announced yet when Comiket 97 happened lolol). Not all the bromides are included though. But a lot of my favorite bromides were included ehehe. They did try to include bromides from every band from the previous SB69 game though!!
I can’t possibly share every page in the book because that will be like.. a lot. I’ll include some of my favorite bromide illustrations in this post though! Enjoy~
This Cyan LR! I actually got her in the 39 melon LR confirmed pull in the previous game~ Thinking back, this bromide was probably a hint at SB69′s next stage

Rix and Mix!! Rapezziauto/YKMM was my jam <3 I can literally hear this illustration saying “pyon pyon” ..ah the memories

AILANE!!! This LR was a really huge contrast to our little queen of darkness

Peipain’s LR! Never figured out how she could play with all those armor on lol...

These two cuties !!! TwT Look at Retoree’s sweet sweet smile

RIKAO <3 Why is he so handsome...

Daddy Maple was also included~

I also took some full images to use as my mobile wallpaper. I’ll share them here too~
Here’s Rikao!

And my favorite bromide of my best boy, Titan TwT

After all the bromide illustrations, there were some omakes(extras)!
First up is a manga called “Show By Rock!! Detective -Crimson Coloured Stars and Skyscraper Apocalypse-”
The manga features the boys of Shingancrimsonz, Trichronika and ARCAREAFACT. It’s basically about Shingancrimsonz and ARCAREAFACT who are detectives competing/working together to catch the phantom thief who is Shu Zo.
Look at this man, he’s way too sparkly to be a phantom thief

I’ll translate and post this manga someday but honestly even though the storyline sounds rather cool, the manga is actually a big joke. I especially found the last page extremely funny...
The song does not exist (it will be even funnier if it existed) but in the manga, Titan worked with Crow and they wrote a song and I bring your attention to this line of lyrics: “ お前の身長は177cmオレは165cm Long Distance〜 “
It translates to “Your height is 177cm, I’m 165cm Long Distance~” If you ever paid close attention, 177cm is Titan’s height and 165cm is Crow’s height and you know how Crow is well, rather short. Plus the fact the song also something to do about milk...that’s not the only hilarious part in the manga :”D
Despite the cool ikemen art style, the manga is a joke

The second omake is a short 3 page manga introducing Mashumairesh!! and their anime! I’ll also be translating and posting it someday~
Howan is so sparkly and adorable...

And lastly, they also included 2 4-komas of Sanrio Anime Store Howan! This one’s a special one because it’s about Comiket~
I’ll also translate this as part of the Sanrio Anime Store Howan series. This omake is listed under it in my Masterpost!

Thank you for reading! As this is an event limited goods, I hope to share it with everyone especially international SB69ers.
Also! If you’d like to see the full bromide illustration of a certain bromide from the book, feel free to inbox me here or on SB69en on Instagram. I’ll happily take a picture and send it to you. I know I did say the book does not contain every bromide from the old game but you can try your luck and ask me! I can just say that there are at least bromides of every character from the main bands (Plasmagi, Shingan, Trichronika, Tsurezure, Cricri, BVL, Arcarea, Yokaze). Of course all the other bands are also included but just not every character, once again you can just try your luck at asking me!

Fooly Falls chapter 5: Don’t Lose Your Way (originally posted on August 21, 2017)
“Ah, another fine day in this dirty riff-raff town.” Preston Northwest said to himself as he overlooked Gravity Falls from his office window. “Perhaps I should've started out somewhere nice like Colorado.” he added before he heard the door open. “Mr. Northwest, sir!” an employee exclaimed as he rushed in.
“We seem to have obtained security footage from our Medical Mechanica factory last night!” he explained, which caught Preston's eye. He turned around in his chair to face his employee, only to find himself spinning in it. “Oh not again, can someone stop this chair?” the billionaire groaned before his butler grabbed hold of the back. “Thank you Phineas.” he thanked getting up.
“Alright Lawrence, show me the footage.” Lawrence turned on a screen to show footage of a group of individuals standing atop the factory. “Last night, two children accompanied by a pair of senior citizens, a Medical Machine and a girl with a Vespa bike have trespassed on factory grounds during the D.I.I's Satellite Geo-Saki's collision course with this town. Much later on, the footage started giving out as three more people appeared before it cut to static.”
“Wait a minute, rewind and zoom in on the one with the guitar.” Preston ordered as Lawrence did just that, focusing on a boy that was all too familiar to the philanthropist. “Oh goody,” he grimaced. “you.”
Dipper, Mabel and Ford were sitting down in the living room watching an episode of Ducktective. “I don't get it, what's the appeal of this series?” Ford wondered as the show's title character and his partner the constable solved another case. “The creator was inspired by his childhood where he and his pet duck would solve mysteries together.” Mabel replied. “Yeah, and he also made this with the whole family in mind.” Dipper added. “Silly jokes & fun adventure for the kids and some witty humor for the parents.”
Just then, they heard Haruko yowling as Stan came crashing down from the ceiling. “Hey, what's going on here?!” Dipper shouted to Haruko before turning to his grunkle, who was wearing a red jacket for some reason. “Aw come on babe, play nice now.” Stan muttered woozily, still reeling from the fall.
“NOT IN A HUNDRED THOUSAND YEARS WILL EVER GET ANYTHING FROM ME EXCEPT TONS OF BULLETS TO THE FACE YOU OLD COOT!” Haruko screamed as she fired at Stan with a rifle. “Hey, calm down there!” he exclaimed in reply.
“What's with the red jacket Grunkle Stan?” Dipper wondered. “Oh, I got it from another one of Soos' anime. I think it's called The Wolf, about a cool thief with a love for the ladies.” Stan explained as we then cut to Canti washing dishes. “This was the jacket he started out with and a favorite of the original author Simian Slam. What, do you prefer the green one from Palace of Shamballa?”
“Okay, I'm going up there to give her what's what.” Dipper sternly proclaimed before marching up the stairs and opening the door to their attic room only to lay his eyes upon Haruko wearing nothing but a pink bath towel and shaking Gompers the goat in her arms.
“What, are you saying I have personal feelings for that kid?” she asked the goat, who bleated in reply. “I don't think so! The reason this mission has been delayed because the channel to N.O isn't open!” As she continued speaking to Gompers, Dipper watched in shock as she waved her butt in his face. “It's not about liking or disliking! Damn, the connection's dead.”
When she tossed Gompers to the ground, she turned towards Dipper smiling. “Oh my, were you listening?” she asked him. “Can you please put on some clothes? Puberty is pretty crazy you know.” the boy replied shielding his eyes.
“How's this?!” the Vespa woman exclaimed now dressed like Elvis Presley, complete with large pompadour while a chalkboard appeared behind her. “I meant normal clothes. And where did you get that board?” he said. “HARUKO'S MASTER THE GUITAR IN ONE MILLISECOND CLASS, YEAH! SIGN UP NOW!” she hollered.
“I think this is the part where I lose my mind.” Dipper said turning to the readers before he got fired at by Haruko with her rifle. “Grab a guitar and you can be a pop idol!” Haruko shouted some more. “Chicks dig it dude, pyon!”
“Pyon?” her younger friend questioned. “Like Filter, or Slash!” she continued on as her pompadour and her head got bigger. “Like Red Hot Chilli Peppers or Rage against the Machine or Richard Gene!” she screamed as her head became as big as the attic could take it. “Wait a minute, Richard Gene isn't a-” Dipper began before getting shot at again.
“You have to learn to say it like a cool rock dude pyon! Guys like Jimi Hendrix all started out like this!” she explained loudly before spinning her bass like a helicopter blade and hovering in the air. “Haruko wait! What's going on?!” Dipper exclaimed before getting shoved into his bed with Haruko on top of him, now back in her bath towel.
“You know it's dangerous to wave that thing around like that.” he stated blushing. “Use your guitar again Takkun, just one more time.” she purred. “Speaking of which, that was fantastic last night.”
“Not interested right now, now can let me go already?” Dipper responded. “I should teach you how to be a man Takkun.” Haruko giggled. “Yeah, like you know how!” he snapped back before he was shoved into her face by his horn until they locked lips, and conveniently enough Mabel & Stan walked in on them.
“Aha, I knew it all along!” Mabel cheered as she started taking pictures. “Wendy owes me big time!” The old trickster on the other hand was completely stunned as his face went red, then blue and every other color of the rainbow.
“Oh Takkun, that's more like it!” Haruko said. “No, this isn't what it looks like! It was my horn!” Dipper tried to make something up. “First kiss, good one!” she replied. “Liar, our first “kiss” was technically the first time we met when you gave me CPR!” he snapped back before Stan let out a mighty roar. “I can't believe it Takkun, you've been havin' sexy times with a hot chick and didn't bother to tell me!” he exclaimed. “And what's worse, that's my partner you were smooching!”
“Like I said, it was my horn!” Dipper tried to defend himself before getting shot at by his great uncle. “That's it kid, you're grounded.” Stan finally said whipping out a pistol. “And by grounded, I mean I'm putting you six feet under! We shall have a duel to the finish, winner gets Haruko's love and a box of Mrs. Pell's Fishsticks.” he announced.
“I'm for it!” Haruko interjected raising her hand. “You know what, forget the duel! My weapon's yours Haruko!” he exclaimed leaping out of his clothes before getting slammed into the wall by a boxing glove that came out of nowhere.
Later that day outside the Mystery Shack, the duel between great-nephew and great-uncle was about to begin. On one side were the twins & Haruko while the other side was Stan, Canti and Soos. “What's the matter kid, too chicken as usual?” Stan, dressed as some sort of heavy weapons guy, boldly proclaimed. “C'mon, show yourself and fight me like a true man!”
As Dipper was hiding in the tall grass, Haruko snuck up on him and tangled around him like a snake much to his displeasure. “What are you doing Haruko!” he exclaimed. “Aw come on bro-bro, Team HaruDip has to get along so that we can win.” Mabel said. “I even made team sweaters for everyone!”
She was currently wearing a yellow sweater with the P symbol from Haruko's Vespa and a blue pine tree on it. “This is no time for sweaters Mabel, one of us might be killed by our own uncle out here!” he replied.
“Are you sure about this Mr. Pines?” Soos stuttered as he tugged on the dogtags and red T-shirt he was now wearing. “I mean, it's perfectly normal for a little boy to have the hots for an older girl. Like when Dipper had that crush on Wendy.” he explained. “Not right now Soos, it's the principle of the thing!” his boss replied. “Oh Takkun, save me!” Haruko moaned from afar as she continued smothering Dipper. “Now's your chance Soos, fire!”
“I'm so sorry dudes!” Soos winced before he fired at the opposing team. “You better not be eating those fishsticks Ford, they're for the winner!” Stan called to his brother sitting on the porch, who already ate one. “Uh, they're all here Stanley!” Ford replied trying to hide the fishstick he ate before taking notice of a small car near the shack which a woman rose out of. “Can I help you miss?”
“Target sighted commander! It's blue, I repeat blue!” she spoke into a cellphone as she picked up an anti-tank rifle and aimed it at Canti. “Are you sure it isn't red Kitsurubami?” a voice on the other end asked, which happened to be Commander Amarao at a hair salon. “So the blue is confirmed then? I already have the unofficial consent of both Medical Mechanica and this town's resident billionaire Preston Northwest so we'll take care of it here so they can't interfere.”
As he put down the phone, everything turned into something out of an adult cartoon from 1997. “I have work to do so let's make it quick!” he said. “Okay, but I wanted to look cool, you know what I mean, in a manly charming grown-up kind of way!” He picked up the phone again to contact Kitsurubami. “If we screw up here, Medical Mechanica will be all over us! Just forget Raharu, she'll just complicate everything! Just take care of yourself til I get there.”
“You know, more mature-looking, something a woman that I haven't seen in a long time would think 'This guy really is a hero but also nurturing and supportive', something like that. That's what I'm looking for.” he turned back to his hairdresser before taking notice of a boy in a chair next to him receiving some candy. “Oh, don't I get one of those candies? I prefer the super sweet ones, the sweetest ones if you know what I mean.”
Dipper was charging into battle with his twin pistols before firing at and pouncing on what seemed to be his grunkle before he learned it was one of many traps set by him. “Y'know for a smart kid, you're easy to fool!” Stan boasted from afar as the boy continued falling into his traps.
“They seem to be playing some kind of game. Looks really stupid, I'm sure I can handle this myself. ” Amarao's right-hand woman continued analyzing the scene as she peered through the scope of her firearm. “Hm, who's the girl he hasn't seen in so long?”
“What are you two doing just laying around, you should be helping me!” Dipper complained as he landed back into Mabel and Haruko's hiding spot. “My guitar isn't plugged in.” Haruko replied pulling out her Rickenbacker. “Don't ask bro-bro, even I don't know why she brought it along.” Mabel added.
“Are you crazy, this is a game of life and death!” he snapped back at the girls. “And squeegee, and bungee, and grungy! Oh, we're in trouble kid.” Haruko said. “Well, can you at least give me some backup Mabel?” Dipper asked his sister. “Anything for you Dipps!” Mabel cheerfully answered. “Good kid, now go out there and prove that you love me!” Haruko exclaimed kicking the twins out.
When they got up, Dipper charged at Canti with a bloodthirsty look on his face while Mabel jumped in the air with her bazooka. “Check it out Dipper, I can rocket jump!” she exclaimed before crashing down into the ground. “Oh no, Mabel down! Mabel down!” But her brother didn't seem to notice as he and the Medical Machine went all out against each other before Canti started getting fired at itself from an unknown assailant, which was Kitsurubami.
“Blue, blue, blue, blue, blue, cobalt blue!” she exclaimed with each shot from her anti-tank rifle. “It's seven of nine, he's a sign!” When she got his head in her sights, she fired again. “CYBORG!!!” she screamed taking one last shot. “Cyborg my butt!” Haruko shouted back batting the bullet away from her as Dipper continued fighting Canti.
“Actually, confusing cyborgs with robots is a common misconception.” Ford stated. “But there are a few cyborgs who are mostly machine, like this policewoman I've met who's only organic part was her brain and strangely looked a bit like Scarlet Johansson-” He was interrupted when the bullet flung back at Kitsurubami's car, blowing it up and tossing her into the fray.
“Take this squirt!” Stan cried charging towards his great-nephew before being knocked over by the government agent and sent tumbling around. “Soos, Canti, you're on your own for now!” Dipper however saw this as an opportunity to land the killing blow. “Alright, one more shot and I win!” he proclaimed as he prepared to pounce on the machine before being interrupted by a familiar voice.
“Hi Dipper!” It was Pacifica, who had come by for some reason. “Oh no Paz, get out of here!” Dipper exclaimed jumping in front of her as Canti fired one last bullet at his torso, knocking him out. “Oh no dude, you alright?” Soos cried rushing to the boy's side. “I'm fine Soos, I just don't know how I could survive that.”
“And by the way Canti, I get three time-outs!” he turned to Canti, who blankly stared at him in reply. “Don't give me that look!” Dipper exclaimed much to the heiress's confusion. “Are you okay there Dipper?” she asked. “Oh, it's just that my great uncle wants to kill me because he thought I got 'busy' with his new friend.” he answered. “So what are you doing here anyway?” he wondered.
“Oh yeah, my dad sent me out here to tell you that he's kinda ticked off about you trespassing on his Medical Mechanica factory.” Pacifica said. “Speaking of which, is this Medical Machine like, your servant or something?” she asked. “Yeah pretty much. Hey Canti, can you go to the grocery store?” The machine did as it was told as it soared off into the sky. “And remember to get the candy Mabel likes!” Dipper called.
“So what was that about your father?” he asked turning to Pacifica. “Like I said, he got pretty mad about you and your family stepping on his territory when that big satellite nearly killed us all last night.” she stated. “And I saved us!” Dipper responded fiercely.
“Wait, you did what?” his rich blonde friend stuttered. “Yeah he did, he was all bang-slam-kerpow!” Mabel exclaimed getting back up with only a few scrapes on her. “With a Gibson?!” Pacifica continued, still utterly stunned. “It's true!” Haruko replied dancing into view and glomping Dipper, while Mabel chanted “Smooch, smooch, smooch!” several times.
“And I thought that lumberjack ghost was freaky.” Pacifica said to herself before discovering Ford sitting on the porch. “Hey, is that supposed to be your great uncle? He looks so different from when I last saw him.” she wondered. “Oh yeah, that is out great uncle, but he's not really Stan.” Dipper replied. “Yeah, Grunkle Stan had this weird portal behind the vending machine in the gift shop that he used to bring his brother back from some parallel universe or something crazy like that.” Mabel added.
“He-hey Sixer!” Haruko called to the polydactyl professor while pulling at Dipper's face before he started to feel faint.
“So this Haruko woman just decided to stay at your place after nearly killing Dipper?” Pacifica asked Mabel as they walked through the woods. “Pretty much, fate is crazy that way.” the sweater girl replied. “Plus ever since then, all kinds of crazy robots started popping out of this weird horn on his forehead like Canti for example. Plus Haruko really hit it off with Stan, even coming with him on a revenge trip.”
“And Dipper was stuck into some weird shootout after your great-uncle caught him making out with that Haruko?” the blonde added blushing. “Why would you ask that?” Mabel wondered for a bit before going silent and putting a coy expression on her face. “You like Dipper, don't you P?” she said. “What, no I don't!” Pacifica claimed blushing harder. “I just think he's a nice guy, okay?”
“So that was Preston's girl, huh?” Ford wondered with his mouth full of fishsticks. “Yeah, it turns out she doesn't have the best parents and she saved my life during Northwest Fest. How she's doing now I don't want to know.” Dipper replied.
“And are you sure you have a crush on her?” the old-aged genius added, much to his younger counterpart's embarrassment. “Okay maybe I kind of do, but I'm afraid to confess my feelings to her because I'm terrible with girls.” he admitted. “I can definitely relate Dipper. One time when I was your age, I held hands with a girl who suddenly freaked out and ran away because of my six fingers.”
“And then there's Haruko.” Dipper continued. “She was initially a complete annoyance to me but as time went on, I'm starting to like her more. Maybe it's because of all the crazy adventures we went on because of her.” Ford then came to a conclusion. “Maybe it's because she has connections to Canti.” he said. “Maybe it seems that this town's weirdness has brought her here and all the robots with her. “
“Y'know speaking of weirdness, where did Grunkle Stan go anyway?” the boy wondered before his other great uncle pulled a pistol on him. “Whoa whoa whoa, I thought you were better than this!” Dipper exclaimed. “Don't fret kid, Stan left behind one of his ten guns and I want to see how durable your head is with that horn.”
Meanwhile somewhere near the Shack in the forest, a battle-damaged Kitsurubami was retching up dirt and grime from her tussle with Stan as she contacted her superior. “I'm on the ground. The attack was a failure, some old man got me distracted and I lost the target.” she spoke into the phone as Stan got up and walked away. “
That little tumble was fun and all babe, but I gotta go find Haruko.” the con-artist said. “It's a horrific entity that flies around like it hasn't heard of gravity.” Unbeknownst to her, Canti happened to float near her until she turned around and screamed.
Meanwhile back at the salon, Amarao was still on the phone as Kitsurubami started making random noises. “Kitsurubami, Kitsurubami! Are you alright?” he exclaimed into the phone before he got hit with a splash of water. “Now hold still sir, we're gonna do the hair color next.” his dyer stated as she started rubbing his red hair. “Now who do you want it, auburn, chestnust or maybe even, fooly cooly color?”
“Fooly.......cooly........” It took Amarao a while to realize it, but he recognized that voice from anywhere and the two pulled weapons on one another, with the woman revealing herself to be Haruko.
“What's with the eyebrows loverboy? An attempt at bushy masculine charm?!” she exclaimed pointing a razor at his neck. “Chicks dig the clean-cut look, that what you were thinking?!” Amarao wasn't having it as he pointed a handgun at her forehead. “Raharu!” he growled preparing to pull the trigger. “Deciding to send your little commando on a mission!” And that's when they went all out against each other with tons of firepower.
“Ow, are you done yet Ford?” Dipper exclaimed as Ford fired a few bullets at the boy's head. “Guess I am, that noggin of yours is really sturdy.” Ford replied as he tossed away the gun. “Your horn's acting up again, could it be that fooly cooly Stan keeps rambling about?” he asked noticing his great-nephew's horn as it started to wiggle.
“Hey guys, whatcha talkin' about?” Mabel wondered as she returned to them and sat down on the couch. “We were just discussing how much Haruko has changed us and Ford shooting me to see how tough my head was.” Dipper replied before taking his sister's head. “C'mon, let's go find Grunkle Stan.” Meanwhile, Kitsurubami had enough and started emptying lead on Canti. “NOOOO! STAY AWAY!” she exclaimed.
In town, Stan was charging through the streets looking for Haruko until he ran into a overweight man wearing a shirt that had a pizza on it. “Hey big guy, you seen a young lady about yay high, has pink hair and pretty much mentally unstable?” he asked panting before the pizza guy pointed at the hair salon. “Cool, thanks!”
Back onto Haruko and Amarao's firefight, the two continued giving each other all they got before standing off. “I'm not a child anymore, I'm an adult!” Amarao proclaimed putting on a pair of sunglasses. “I can buy my own insurance and everything!” Just then, dozens of other agents assembled behind him carrying guns like him.
“That robot is too dangerous. If we don't take it out, Medical Mechanica will make its move.” he explained. “You understand what they're planning and how it would affect the planet. And that thing, when it turns red, it's Atomsk.”
That last sentence alone made Haruko really angry as she opened fire on pretty much everyone in the building, shooting agents that busted in left and right until the front door was opened by Stan.
“Haruko, I've been wondering where you were!” he cried before turning his attention to Amarao. “Hello there eyebrows.” he grimaced at the head of the D.I.I. “Stan Pines, I knew you would show up here.” Amarao replied pointing his gun at the old trickster. “I'm surprised you didn't recognize me at first last night.” the great-uncle replied pulling out a gun of his own. “Was it the fake mustache?”
“You didn't have a fake mustache you idiot!” Amarao roared before turning to his men. “Pines isn't important right now, just stop Raharu!” At his command, they all dogpiled and pointed their guns at Haruko before she blasted them off her and pointed her Rickenbacker at Amarao. “You've got to be kidding me.” he groaned surrounded by the unconcious bodies of his fellow agents.
“Two against one, sounds like pretty good odds.” Stan added brandishing some brass knuckles.
Meanwhile, the Pines twins were running into town searching for their uncle. “You know bro, you've been acting pretty different lately, a bit less awkward and more awesome.” Mabel said. “Maybe Ford was right, maybe Haruko did have a part in the grand scheme of this.” Dipper boldly deducted. “Seriously Dipper, you've become so much different ever since she came here. She taught me to be braver in the face of life-threatening situations.”
Meanwhile, Stan and Haruko continued duking it out with Amarao while nearby townsfolk ran for cover, with the two tricksters getting the upper hand.
“You already are pretty brave. By the way, what's with that weird thing on the back of your head?” Mabel responded staring at the gun that appeared on her brother's head without his knowledge. “Be honest, you like her!”
Dipper stopped right there on the sidewalk as he was taken aback by his sister's words, given that he wasn't very good with romance and that Mabel's personal goal this summer was to meet a cute boy that would date her. Suddenly, he felt something click in his head as his horn burst out and planted itself in the ground before pushing him skyward as Mabel grabbed onto it.
The siren from Medical Mechanica sounded as the boy's horn grew larger, large enough to be noticed by Kitsurubami & Canti, Pacifica and all the people of Gravity Falls. Amarao, now on the ground after losing his battle with the man of mystery and his pink-haired partner and losing his large eyebrows, got up to notice what happened.
“Oh no, where are my eyebrows?!” he screamed before turning his head to the giant horn in the middle of town. “Medical Mechanica is using these machines to destroy this town and the rest of the planet, we are so screwed!” he continued on, much to Stan and Haruko's annoyance. “Yeesh, for such a calculating government agent, he sure is a wimp.” Stan mocked him. “Your friend is the one who caused all this Pines, and now we're all screwed because of her!”
“I don't care you idiot, got it memorized?” Haruko added scowling at Amarao. “Your guitar's not up to it, that's it!” he replied. “You're a million years under-evolved, you primitive monkey!” she screamed. “Whoa, take it easy babe!” Stan exclaimed trying to calm her down. “That's discriminatory language against underdeveloped planets!” Amarao shouted back before he was hit in the head with Haruko's bass before she waved it around while chanting.
“You can't do that here! Where are my eyebrows, my eyebrows!” Suddenly, a small thing appeared on the redhaired agent's forehead. “A little small as usual, but it'll do.” Haruko said plucking it off before revving up her instrument and taking off. “You handle him yourself Stan!”
“Stanley!” a voice called from a nearby alleyway. Stan walked into it to find his brother hiding. “Thank goodness you're still alive! Listen, we need to save Dipper & Mabel and the town!” Ford exclaimed. “Yep, that's the biggest one this story might put out.” Stan replied turning back to the giant robot.
“I have a feeling Diamond Brandy might show up, so I've decided to bring this along.” Reaching into a duffel bag, the genius pulled out a stone mask with a red gem on it.
“Oh mama, that looks like mob-boss quality!” the con-artist exclaimed reaching for him before his hand was slapped aside. “This is the Eyes of Heaven mask, an ancient artifact that I've recovered many years ago from temple ruins. If Diamond Brandy dare touches it, it could bring about the end of days!”
“Seriously, what does that chick see in those kids, especially the one with the hat?!” Amarao whined still looking up to the sky. “I don't know, maybe it's because he sort of has a pair.” Stan replied with a laugh.
Meanwhile high up in the sky, Dipper and Mabel were clinging on for dear life on top of the new robot's hat as it started moving towards Medical Mechanica. “If this is our last moment together Takkun, then I want to say it's been an honor being your sister!” Mabel exclaimed hugging her brother.
“I love you too Mabel, now hold on!” Dipper replied as he tried to find a way to safely return to the ground until a red light appeared zooming across the sky. It was Haruko, surfing on her guitar and wearing a Playboy bunny outfit for some reason. “Hey, it's Haruko!” the shooting star exclaimed. “Wait, why is she dressed like that?”
“DAICON FIVE!!!” Haruko cried as she fired a small guitar like a slingshot at the robot, knocking it back a bit. “Stop it Haruko!” Dipper shouted clinging on for dear life. “Please Takkun, summon Canti so that you can save us!” his sister cried ducking for cover. “Wait, are you serious right now?” the younger by five minutes boy exclaimed. “Of course I'm going to save us! CANTI!”
The Medical Machine sprung into the air and landed by his side. “And by the way, you've always known me as Dipper, not Takkun! You better remember that!” he shouted before getting eaten by Canti's torso jaws and making it turn red. As the robot pulled out a gun and started firing at the Vespa Woman, she gracefully dodged all its attack before being knocked down to the ground by one. Suddenly, Canti soared down and picked her up, seating her on its back.
Haruko prepared to attack with the slingshot again, but it proved ineffective against the mechanical monstrosity. “Ugh, useless!” she groaned throwing the slingshot away before slamming Canti's head, turning it into a cannon which fired at the gun-toting machine. It landed quite a hit, knocking it over while Mabel nearly fell off before Canti swooped in and saved her.
“It's falling!” Grenda exclaimed as she and Candy held each other close. “If this is the end of the line, then it's been fun being your friend!” the Asian girl replied before they noticed Mabel landing right in front of them. “Well, it's official. I have a fear of giant robots with cowboy hats and guns!” she exclaimed dusting herself.
“FINAL ROUND?!” Haruko exclaimed as the robot toppled over. Canti launched one final attack, which proved nothing when the robot repelled it by firing back and sending it careening into a nearby billboard. “I'm all out of ammo!” she complained before leaping into the air with her Rickenbacker in hand, but the robot aimed and fired all its weapons at her as it formed into a hand-like shape.
“Commander!” Kitsurubami cried as she and Amarao drove into the action. “I told you this was impossible!” her superior replied in panic before they were hit by a stray bullet. The bass-playing bunny continued falling as the robot got back up on its feet before she fell into Canti's arms when his screen started glowing.
“This is bad, it's heading towards the factory, it's gonna activate it!” Amarao screamed in terror before he spotted a beam of light spilling out of the Medical Machine's head. It grabbed the light and pulled it out, forming a guitar-shaped object. “It's....” Amarao said. “It's Atomsk's....” Haruko shouted in surprise.
“GIBSON EB-0 1961 MODEL!” they shouted in unison. Dropping Haruko, Canti launched itself at the robot, smacking it with the bass and finally making it fall over. It tumbled a bit before bouncing atop Medical Mechanica and turning into a giant hand. “I can't believe it, that must be the one!” Amarao exclaimed as it continued falling. “It's the real Pirate King!”
Canti struck one final blow, creating a large hole in the palm and causing a piece of machinery to burst out. Suddenly, steam erupted from the factory covering all of Gravity Falls with it. Meanwhile, Stan, Ford, Soos and Wendy were on a Mystery Shack golf cart searching for the kids. “See them dudes?” Soos asked. “No way Soos.” Wendy replied. “But we do see some kinda meteorite headed right for us.” Stan added. “Wait a minute, that isn't a meteor-RUN!” Ford exclaimed as they all ran far away from the golf cart as it met its untimely end in the hands of the clump of technology.
The red ammo fell from the billboard as the girls all watched, later joined by the Stans and the Shack employees. The golf cart crashed into a nearby fire hydrant spraying water on the glowing bullet before it turned back into their friend Dipper, followed by Haruko landing right next to him as she gazed into Atomsk's screen. “Atomsk!” she moaned.
“Dipper, you're alright!” Mabel exclaimed as she hugged her brother. “I was worried for you too.” he replied hugging her as well, before they patted each other on the back. “It's nice that both of you have their heads still attached which means your parents won't try to kill me, but now let's head back home.” Stan said picking them up by the arms. “I think you might need some rest.”
As they all happily walked back to the Shack, everything became frozen as a portal opened before them, which out climbed none other than Diamond Brandy. “Oh, did I miss the party?” he wondered as he raised a bubble around him and the Pines family. “Well, at least I get a few goodies.”
“Someone help us!” Mabel shouted pounding on the shield. “Soos, Wendy, Haruko, anyone!” Dipper added also pounding. “That shield won't work children. Outside things are going normally but here, I get to slaughter you and nobody will notice.” Diamond replied. “Now Six Fingers, I sense you have the item that I've been looking for.” he said turning to Ford. “I said it once and I'll say it again, I will never hand you the Eyes!” Ford declared. “Well then, if I can't take the mask, then I'll take your family's lives instead.” When he finished that sentence, the rest of the family became buried neck-down in the street, struggling to escape.
“Now what will it be Stanford, your loved ones or my key to ultimate power?” Brandy offered as he summoned a sword caked in blood in his hand. “You should know this sword is painted with the blood of my enemies.” Ford quivered as his brother and great-nephew & niece begged for mercy as he lowered the sword at their heads. “I think I'll start with.....” he pointed it at Stan. “YOU!!!”
“WAIT!” Ford interrupted his brother's execution by pulling out the mask. “I'll give you the mask, just leave my family and this planet alone!” The ruby gem resting atop its forehead glimmered in the light. “Very good choice.” the demon thanked him before pulling the three up like vegetables. “Now hand it over.”
“Hey wait, before you go off and destroy the galaxy, why don't you tell us your backstory? You just can't be evil because why not.” Mabel asked. “Fine Shooting Star, allow me to let you relive my past.” His fingertips glowed before he touched the Pines' foreheads, sending them all the way back to a Mayan-looking village. “Welcome to the story of how I became the monster you see today.”
“Before now, I was just another weakling that was picked on by my kinfolk.” he narrated as a young boy that looked like Diamond was picked on by other children. “Stay back, I have awesome powers that would make you wet your trousers!” the boy that would become Diamond Brandy exclaimed before throwing his hands out, expecting to release an awesome attack but nothing happen.
“Face it Deh'Go, you're not gonna go far.” one of the kids stated as they all walked away. “If you want your own powers, then why don't you just walk into a mud pit, I'm pretty sure you'd get earth powers.”
“Good Lord, and I thought Crampelter was bad.” Stan said as they all watched the younger Brandy weep in sorrow. “I just want to hug that nice and chubby baby so hard!” Mabel exclaimed as she tried to run up to the child, but failed.
“Sorry girl, we're spirits now. Meaning we can't interact with others while in this state.” Brandy explained. “My life was pretty terrible, but then everything changed when Atomsk attacked.”
He fast-forwarded time to a point where he was standing in the flaming ruins of his village. ”I wanted to help ward him off, but I failed and our home was reduced to rubble.” A short man with a bushy beard and white robes marched up to Brandy, looking very angry. “Do you realize what you have done Bu'Ran'Doy, now we have to rebuild!” the man barked as many other equally upset villagers gathered behind him. “But Atomsk is gone, that's good right?” the taller man sheepishly replied before his fellow Pole People started throwing rocks at him. “I was exiled from my home that day, but then I found help.”
Fast forwarding a little bit more, an image of Brandy drawing a circle in the dirt surrounded by a set of eight makeshift candles. “Hey, this is just like when Gideon summoned....oh no.” Dipper realized. “Indeed Pine Tree, it was at this spot where I first met a being you might know as Bill Cipher.” the demon explained as they all watched him summon the three-sided terror.
“Egassem sdrawkcab. egassem sdrawkcab. Egassem sdrawkcab! Egassem sdrawkcab! Egassem sdrawkcab!” the younger Diamond Brandy chanted with his eyes glowing blue as a familiar shape began to form, manically laughing along the way until Bill Cipher appeared before him.
“Hey there pal, name's Bill! And I suppose you summoned me for your own goals?” the dream demon greeted Brandy. “Indeed I have oh Great Triangle God of Weirdness,” Brandy replied kneeling before him. “I seek revenge on my people for shunning me all my life for my lack of special powers.”
“You mean those Pole People? Yeah, I think I can help you with that.” Bill replied as he began scrolling through different types of magic. “Which one would you like? I got water, earth, fire, air, metal, blood, etc!” All of those sounded interesting to the young Pole Person, but one had caught his eye. “I would like fire please.” he answered. “Firestarter? That's pretty hard to master.” the triangular terror said as he turned back to Deh'Go with his hand covered in blue fire. “Now do we have a deal?”
“It's a deal.” the future destroyer replied as he shook the demon's hand. “Alright, Firestarter's all yours pal!” Bill exclaimed as he started to disappear. “And remember, THE MEANING OF LIFE IS A JOKE, I WILL RETURN HERE ONE DAY, HERE'S JOHNNY BYYYYYYEEEEEE!!!!!!!” Cipher had disappeared, leaving Buh'Ran'Doy with this paper rune as he cackled evilly. “Look out Cylindoria, I will return!”
“What I didn't realize was that a lone villager was spying on me and Bill.” And he was right, a villager with a prominent bald spot watched as Brandy laughed, fearing the worst for his people. “When he returned to the city of Cylindoria, he explained what he had saw to the high council and they decided to create a mask that would end my reign of terror. And the rest was history.”
With that, he fast-forwarded through the rest of his story, from the creation of the mask, him mastering his powers, the destruction of Cylindoria and being sealed by the last Pole Person, who turned out to be that same villager. “Now that we got my backstory out of the way, the mask please.” Brandy ordered, in which Ford complied handing it over. “Yes, ultimate power is mine!” He put it on and everything was silent. Then, beams of light burst out of his limbs as he felt his power growing.
Then everything went silent again as the mask crumbled into pieces and falling onto the pavement. “Thank you for your time mortal, I promise your planet will be left unharmed.” Diamond Brandy thanked Ford before summoning his sword and soaring into the sky while the shield disappeared.
“Hey dudes, we were wondering what happened to you.” Soos said with a concerned look on his face. “Yeah, while you were gone Haruko ran off with Canti because of some weird Pirate King stuff that isn't related to that pirate show Soos watches.” Wendy added. “We actually weren't gone, we were held captive by this crazy guy who wanted to kill us unless Ford handed over this mask he wanted!” Mabel exclaimed while Dipper gazed into the sky, wondering where Haruko had gone.
“Aw chin up kid, Haruko may be gone probably for good and the whole universe is in danger, but at least we got Mrs. Pell's Fishsticks!” Stan reassured his great-nephew which Ford blush. “Well that's a pretty funny story. I uh, ate them all.” he nervously confessed showing the empty box to his brother. “They tasted so good when they're raw!” Stan replied by punching him in the face.
