Week 11, here we are! A lot of new music from artists I like came out last week, but one only has time for so much, right? This week, I’m picking two songs to talk about from bands I’m really excited to hear new music from. The first featured track is “Hold On” by Snooze, a math rock band with heavy elements. This track is from the newly released Familiaris album. I’m SUPER stoked about the fact that they dropped their new album this past Friday, as they had originally planned to release it in 2018, but went back into the studio to re-record some things. Overall, the wait was worth it, and I’m DIGGING IT HARD. I’m nuts about this album! Just be a heads up following along with the lyrics in this album, because you’ll probably wanna cry as you do. The second track I’d like to mention is “Day One - Live” from Home Burial. I’m happy for these guys that they released some new music, as they had mentioned it’s been a couple of years since they put anything new out. This song comes from their Overcast Live session at South by Southwest. Home Burial is going into the studio soon, so you can expect more new songs from them in the foreseeable future!
