How do you feel about reggaeton or Latin music in general? Who are some of your fav Latino artists?

I grew up on it so it's always been a vibe; I love old school reggaeton for Sunday morning cleaning etc, bc my mom plays it. My favorite Latin artists are Kali Uchis, Omar Apollo, The Marias.But my favorite music is latina instrumental or Cuban pyschodelic beats

Showmenz Unrest (2018)

To be honest this is less of a movie and more of a video mix tape mash up come to life and possessed slash terrorized someone's home made movie. There is a plot here somewhere if your eyes and ears can focus in on the insane bombardments of media being thrown, shit and slapped at you in the face. Different music and sound effects over lapping and often cutting out dialogue in which I believe is less a mistake and more of a psychedelically induced ascetic choice. Editing effects and often random photos over lap as the "movie" gets weirder and weirder. Somewhere under all this bandanas and bongs fog of media is a story of two burn out documentary makers filming in a cemetery where a full crew of a circus is buried. Clown zombies aka clownbzies rise from the grave and maybe even a heard but not seen zombie elephant. The film crew duo who are a modern day Jay and silent Bob gone slightly nu metal. They both talk but one doesn't move his mouth when he talks. Over laying samples and talking which eventually makes you feel like your freakin out or somethings wrong, but nothings wrong, your just freaking out. Scenes cut back and forth and all around with no scene lasting too long cause who knows what will happen. Somewhere amongst the posters, magazines and batman t shirts must be piles and piles of rolling papers. Ooh and "legendary" David Rock Nelson has a slashed in cameo , cause if your dealing with home made legit madness then just why the fuck not. Not for normies but deranged life questioning trash humpers like myself may wish to challenge them selves to a films answer to a magic image poster. The kind you have to stare at and relax your eyes so eventually the madness blurs together and a secret is revealed ...maybe. It's been said by greater posters than I that star wars is bad now because it's gone from having a bunch of vibrant influences to being incestuously based on it's own franchise and I think that can be said of science fiction in general. like take dune, a messy novel from the 1960s that's still an engaging and fun read in large part due to its diverse (altho admittidly often problematic) influences; pyschodelic subculture, islamic history, colonialist adventure genre (partically the cultural mythology surrounding te lawrence), frank herbert's own experance writing as a journalist, the ecology movement, etc etc. and I hate to judge by trailer alone but compared to the book the new film looks... drab. where's all that stuff that made dune dune gone? sanded down to just anouther scifi(tm) blockbuster

Homicide McLeod and Homicide Mcleod never dies!(Approx 2017-19)

Drop dead fucking funny sureal hyper violent madness that deserves a late night adult swim cartoon spin off.

Homicide Mclead is a take no shit gumshoe working for a secret task force but is off the chain, shooting first , saying the word fuck and finally asking questions last. While rocking his super weird looking hat he says he works alone but what makes these movies epic are the brilliant supporting cast members and random characters.

So lets rewind a second I watch these movies in reverse. Seeing the first movie first might help make sense of some of the characters relationship, but then again maybe it wont. Cause these movies are weird and it knows its weird. In the first movie Homicide is busting a drug ring but gets messed up in an Alien Invasion. In Never Dies a super gang of terrorists must be stopped but some how gets everyone messed upmwith an inter dimensional time traveling demon from hell (who is kind of just the Wishmaster). The sequel film is a step up from the first one, honestly owning its absurdity and lack of logic, bigger badder stronger. Some characters may or may not be breaking the forth wall to characters who may or may not just be inflatable dolls to characters that may be anthropomorphic or just furries to characters who may or may not be forcing huge leaps of faith in the plot on purpose or by mistake. Its like playing rock music and you make a mistake so you make the mistake twice and call it jazz fusion. So sure if you watch the first movie first your more prepared for the weirdness, but Homicides old man Slaughter McLeod would advised some times a mother fuckers just gotta go in guns blazing. So Fuck logic, fuck yo fear and let these movies fuck you up. Come for the comedy and the ultra violence but stay for pyschodelic trip and the bad ass sound track which also gets eve better in Never Dies. Both free to watch on homicdemcleod.com or on Troma now. They tease a spin off movie of the character Old man Slaughter, who is my favorite character so I really hope that movies happening.

Old man Slaughter and Blood Sucka Jones should team up to fight vampires in a retirement home.. just sayin.
