#ngl the playlist slaps#the idea of this combo between the original/classical and the newer versions of highly melodic music makes me SCREAM#like the amount of things metal and classical music have in common!!! just the use of melodies and harmonies and orchestral pieces#metal is one genre that i would say has truly blended with local music and pop/rock music and absolutely ran with it#i listen to a lot of music and it seems that a lot just seems to skew the line between pop AND *insert genre*#Metal ALSO has that but it also has these brilliant pieces of folk metal and symphony metal and fucking classical pieces as guitar solos#i adore metal it's so cool#also classical music!!!#can i just say that classical music is the only genre#i do want to point out that a lot of artists who were classically trained now find it easier to branch out into different things#classical training is like the math of music in a way that most ppl go like 'we're never gonna need this' and then end up using the -#pythagoran theorem while shopping at ikea#also maths (and classical training)is like doing pushups you will never have a life threatening situation where you need to do 20 push ups-#but it sure fucking helps to have some goddamn arm muscle when you have to lift a heavy ass box across a parking lot#ok but also classical music is absolutely fantastic and it goes so FUCKING HARD and y'all should listen to it more often#also there's a song from the yuri on ice soundtrack in there but that's just bc it fucking SLAPS and it follows the criterium#criteria for cass playlist: SLAPS#i would make a damian playlist but i don't think im prepared to add an anime nightcore remix to any spotify playlist#my idea for damian's music taste is: classical music. early 2000's bollywood music. anime nightcore remixes#oh and saudi female pop songs from 2012#that's it.#cass cain#cassandra cain#orphan#batgirl#black bat#ask#bataranswers#anon#dc
