Quantec QRS seems to be working ok with its new Bourns encoder... 😊 . (for the record, +5V supply rail has been precisely adjusted, now that all boards have been reinstalled after cleaning 😉) . Afternoon at the Redhouse Studio, some 100km away from Paris, pt. II & III Their Quantec QRS reverb has gotten her front panel display back 😊 And half of her RAM is going to be replaced after all 13 (out of the 26) memory chips were found dead... guess she's on her way to recovery... 😉 Besides, I've finally found the ideal assistant in the fine person of Lucie, who handles the electric screwdriver like no one! ^^ And last, but not least, the studio's Studer A820-2CH 1/2" has been finally taken care of by Yours, Truly ☺️ The Capacitor-Of-Death was identified (on the Display Driver board, again... 😢), has yet to be replaced, and there are still other issues to be dealt with... in the next episodes of Redhouse Studio series! ;-) #Quantec #QRS #QuantecQRS #QuantecRoomSimulator #VintageDigitalReverb #EarlyDigital #Repair #Fix #Reparation #RedhouseStudio #StudioRedhouse #StudioPiscineATokyo #TheGoodDoctorPrager
