Summary:

The story is an AU about Soul who is a prince going on a quest with his knight Maka in a medieval fantasy with magical elements.

Soul woke up to the low hum coming from the trees outside. He looked around, finding himself asleep in a small circular room on the second story of Blair’s magical tower. He closed his eyes and tried to remember the events of everything leading up to this point. How did he end up in a witch’s tower? And what was this warm weight on his chest? He pulled down his blanket and found a half-asleep, pajama-clad Maka clinging to his chest. He felt his face intently turn red as sweet began to form on his forehead from the realization that him and Maka had technically slept together, not the preverbal “slept together” but literally, as there Blair had only one guest room, and his loyal knight Maka wasn’t going to take any chances by sleeping anywhere else, least this not-so-trusting witch try something with her prince.

(Soon after you see exactly why she stopped– a large, slightly imposing sadness seems to be wandering around in circles.)

(Is she seriously going to try and fight it alone!?)

(You try to make your way closer, when)

(....Uh oh.)

🔨: BELLE!?

(UH OH.)

🎀: Shh!! It's gonna-

🔨: WAAH-

(CRAB CRAB CRAB IT'S GONNA ATTACK HER MOVE MOVE MOVE-)

(That felt really bad)

(You stumble, before pulling out your weapon to strike back, and-)

🔨: TAKE THIS, YOU- YOU STUPID MONSTER!!

(The damage from both of your weapons severely outweighs whatever strength your opponent had left.)

(She's safe.)

(....Your knee is scraped really bad though... not to mention the pain in your chest..... ouch.)

(She's staring down at you.)
