   He huffs air out in an oof, as if he didn’t sense this coming. As if he isn’t secretly pleased to be greeted so, well, warmly.   “Hey, kid. Been taking care of yourself?”

She ignores his question, face pressing into his neck. His scent is very much lacking in her, but she can fix that easily. “You never came back,” she mutters against his skin, a bit of hurt seeping into her voice. “You left and you never came back. What happened?” Just when she’d opened up and let someone in again, he’d gone and left without warning. She couldn’t help but wonder if she’d done something wrong.

1. i know this wasn’t actually an invitation to talk about it but i’m gonna do it anyway because i love hector more than words can say; modern day hector is a soft tired dad who is going thru law school part time on the GI bill and he met his wife in high school and they got married at like eighteen and tried to have kids for like twelve yrs before it finally happened and he just loves his son so much.  to reconcile this with my reincarnation scheme for this blog, i’m guessing one of his many fucking siblings fucked the whole family over again and got cursed to relive their lives over and over again or something, bc lbr, i can make an argument for patroclus not deserving the isles of the blessed, but hector definitely belongs there.  anyway, he’s the dad that always has three ( 3 ) stickers in his hair.  friday nights are wine nights with the wife.  he and patroclus are casual friends who people watch together at bars but don’t talk.  paris still makes his life difficult all the time.  he hates his minivan because it’s not a horse but pretends it’s because he’s a car guy because that feels more normal and also he can’t afford a horse

2. ah, odysseus, founding member of the real Gruesome Twosome of the trojan war, mr. ‘my dog lived for 20 years because he loved me so much and i wouldn’t even say hi to him because i wanted to fuck with my wife’s suitors or something.’  continuing the grand greek tradition of being an asshole but becoming famous anyway

the right way to do elektra in the mcu: part one

keep their college years the same as in the comics. 

keep their break up the same as in the comics 

keep elektra’s back story with the chaste and the hand the same as in the comics 

elektra doesn’t enjoy killing? she does it bc it’s necessary and it’s what she’s good at. 

none of this bad elektra v good karen nonsense. 

none of this elektra thinks matt’s life is lame nonsense. rather elektra is glad that he’s fulfilling what he set out to do. that he’s still the good man she fell in love with. 

listen that flashback episode should have been elektra avoiding matt, and matt going to pieces bc he thought he smelled her perfume or heard her heart beat. 

antagonism in the start of the relationship stems from elektra telling matt to butt out rather than trying to pull him in.

@helodrama / @gnnablow ; i’ve known evan for a long time now and so i can safely assure everyone i’ve always been a huge fan of her work ! she has a really refreshing way of writing that’s both visceral and humorous and it’s something i’ve always admired ! she’s created some of my favorite characters who are dear to my heart.
