A MARAUDERS KAHOOT!
(Kind of)
So Kahoot would only let 40 people participate unless I paid like $100 for a year subscription, so I redid the quiz on quizizz, which is like kahoot except with powerups (yay!)
Rules:
This link is open until Sunday (4/21) noon EST so you have until then to play!
You do not need an account to play. It's free <3
Use your Tumblr name as your nickname, that way I can announce the top 5 at the end of the week!
The top five players will get to send me a request for any microfic they want! (within reason, respecting my boundaries)
First place gets a full-length oneshot! (like 2-5k words)
You're welcome to play as many times as you want because it's fun, but if you do, I'll take your lowest score for places, just to be fair. <3
All questions are based off of facts (as in, none of my personal headcanons), so if you think anything is wrong, please let me know! I used the Harry Potter Lexicon to double-check my work, but I can always make mistakes.
However, I do ask factual questions about many fanon ships (i.e. what does "starchaser" mean) so please be aware that multiple ships are mentioned. I tried to include all of the popular ones, even if they aren't my personal favorites.
Please reblog this so as many people can enjoy it as possible! I worked hard lol.
After Sunday, I'll restart the game just for fun and leave a link on my pinned post.
Let me know if you have tech issues! I am NOT tech savvy but I'll do my best to help!
UPDATE: If you don't finish because of a glitch or whatever, I won't count the score. Just finished scores.
So much love to you all! <3

Technology Self-Assessment
Article 1: Guiding Students to Get Creative With Graphic Design Tools
I am currently an art teacher at an elementary school that is kindergarten through sixth grade. I also teach STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) classes for sixth grade. Students are being encouraged to use technology more in versatile ways. I chose this article because I am always looking for more creative ways to incorporate technology in the classroom. The article explains using technology can be a struggle for students, but once they learn it can be “transferable to academics, work and careers, and personal life” (Crenshaw, 2025, para. 1). Canva and Adobe programs can be used to create brochures, posters, presentations, and collages. Canva also has a built-in tool for students to easily share work with one another to work on things collaboratively, which is something I would like to try in my classroom. Another way I can incorporate these tools in my classroom is using the visual essay poster idea. Crenshaw (2025) stated that “instead of written essays, students can create “visual essays,” using images, colors, shapes, and spatial arrangement to support their written analysis” (para. 14). This would be a good summative tool for students to show what they have learned.
Article 2: Teaching Students How to Make Movies to Document Their Learning
The art curriculum for elementary school includes students learning how to create art from a narrative. These can be personal narratives or made up. Students explore how art can be created from stories. A great way to do this is incorporating movie making in the classroom. I chose this article because I think this idea would be good for older students to collaborate whether it’s in my art classes or STEAM classes. If I used this for STEAM I would have students design their own product and make an advertisement about that product. Using movie making in the classroom will keep students engaged. Pack (2024) explained that “not only does moviemaking appeal to students, but storytelling naturally ignites emotion, which results in learning that is easily remembered” (para. 2). The process of creating a movie is cross-curricular and can also be used as an assessment of learning.
Article 3: Supercharge Your Quizizz Use
In my classroom, I have used Quizizz as a form of assessment to see what students know and what they don’t know. It’s an easy way to fast track grading and collecting data. I chose this article because I wanted to learn about additional tools that Quizizz has to offer. What drew my attention was using Quizizz to create different versions of the same assessment for differentiation without students knowing the difference. Tutt (2025) stated that teachers “can individually assign these assessments within the platform, but every student joins using the same link” (para. 15). Differentiating assessments is crucial for accurate evaluation of student learning. I also like to do these assignments as exit tickets after a lesson, so for students who need differentiation I can easily change their quiz. I would like to use the prompt tools after students answer questions wrong or right. The prompt tools give them an explanation on why their question was wrong or right, so students are actually learning if they do get a question wrong instead of just guessing their way through.

Engaging Virtual Team Activities and Games for Effective Team Building
In the current landscape of remote work, creating a cohesive team culture can be challenging. Fortunately, virtual team activities and games offer effective ways to enhance collaboration, lift spirits, and strengthen connections among team members. Here’s a selection of engaging virtual activities that can bring your team closer together, no matter where they are located.
1. Online Escape Rooms
Online escape rooms are an exciting way for teams to collaborate on solving puzzles and completing tasks. These virtual adventures require effective communication and teamwork, making them ideal for building relationships. As team members work together to “escape” within a set time, they enhance their problem-solving skills and bond in the process.
2. Virtual Trivia Games
Trivia games are a fun way to engage employees and encourage a sense of friendly competition. You can tailor trivia questions to include company facts, industry knowledge, or general trivia. Tools like Kahoot and Quizizz make it simple to host these games, allowing participants to join from anywhere. This activity not only entertains but also helps team members learn more about each other in a relaxed atmosphere.
3. Virtual Scavenger Hunts
Hosting a virtual scavenger hunt is a dynamic way to inspire creativity and activity. Compile a list of items or tasks for team members to find or accomplish in their homes. As they rush to gather their items, participants can share their finds over video calls, leading to laughter and storytelling. This engaging activity fosters teamwork and encourages quick thinking.
4. Interactive Online Workshops
Interactive online workshops serve as both educational opportunities and team-building experiences. Invite team members to join activities like cooking classes, art sessions, or skill-sharing workshops. These collaborative environments not only build individual skills but also help team members connect on a personal level, strengthening their relationships.
5. Virtual Wellness Challenges
Promote health and camaraderie with virtual wellness challenges. Teams can compete in various activities, such as step counts, yoga classes, or online fitness sessions. These challenges encourage physical well-being and create a sense of unity as team members support and motivate each other.
6. Story Sharing Sessions
Facilitate story-sharing sessions where team members can share personal stories or experiences. This creates an opportunity for deeper connections and understanding among colleagues. By fostering a safe space for sharing, you enhance empathy and strengthen the team’s dynamics.
Conclusion
Integrating virtual team activities and games into your team-building strategy can significantly improve communication and collaboration among remote employees. By participating in these enjoyable and interactive experiences, team members can forge stronger relationships, boost morale, and foster a positive team culture, regardless of distance. Embrace the virtual environment and watch your team thrive!

English Speaking Group CC: My City, My Adventure Awaits.
Hey everyone.
The English Speaking Group CC session this week was fantastic. The theme, "My City, My Adventure," sparked a journey of discovery, not just for the breathtaking cities in the "30 Most Beautiful Cities in the World" video, but also for the hidden gems within my own city, Tangerang.
Tangerang's culinary scene is a treasure trove waiting to be explored. One hidden gem I love is Kecap Benteng SH, a soy sauce with a rich and flavorful history. The fresh ingredients create an explosion of taste, a true testament to the deliciousness Tangerang has to offer.
Fun fact: While my ID says Kota Tangerang Selatan, I've had the privilege of living in Kota Tangerang and working as a teacher in Kabupaten Tangerang. This diverse experience has woven a unique tapestry of knowledge about my city's rich past and vibrant present.
The video ignited a travel itch, showcasing the beauty of exotic destinations like Cartagena and Luang Prabang. Then, during our discussions, we shared our own experiences. As a teacher, I expressed my gratitude for the group's supportive learning environment, my appreciation for helpful feedback that fuels growth, and the constant thrill of new challenges – these are the joys that make teaching so rewarding, right?
The fun Quizizz quiz kept our brains buzzing with knowledge, and in breakout room 3 (shoutout!), I met some amazing people: Kak Afidah Nurul, Kak Annisa Nurhidayati, Kak Fatimah Mursyidah, Kak Hendra Yoga, Kak Octavia Wulansari, and Kak Syifa Akmalia. We had a fascinating conversation about our cities, and I shared intriguing facts about Tangerang, from the bustling Soekarno-Hatta International Airport to the culinary delights of Pasar Lama, the historical significance of Kota Benteng, and the local pride of Persita Tangerang Football Club.
The session was a whirlwind of learning, laughter, and connection. If you're looking to practice English, have some fun, and meet inspiring people, English Speaking Group CC is the place to be. It's an amazing way to explore not just the world, but also the hidden treasures within ourselves and our communities.
Join us, and let's embark on our own adventures together. We can discover the beauty in the familiar and ignite a passion for lifelong learning.

all one needs to do to access any number is change the "23" and "39" to other numbers.
notes:
it counts up like a human would.
also, there are no leading zeroes. wrong meme 0 is "wm0" instead of "wm00"
