It’s less noticeable in the anime, but Frieren learning how to make grapes sour (ep2) when sour grapes are Eisen’s favorite (ep3 flashback) is one of my favorite details that made me tear up reading the manga.

It’s not a whole arc like her learning spells to know Himmel better. But it touched me equally… she is growing so much…. Even at the start.

I have 4 versions of etrian odyssey 3 now :) EO3DS on my iPad (Addiction)

This time I actually decided to try Ragnarok’s rival guild’s build forrealsies. It’s kinda fun n new for me. The most jarring thing is that I don’t have a Tank. (Like a Hoplite OR Tank, my Arbalist.).

First I’m ever using a farmer in main party. Hebe is actually heavy lifting. She has bandage to keep Dezerte’s HP full so Dezerte can passive heal, and she’s landed sleep a few times with lullaby… She’s gonna get strange seeds so Zero (Zodwa) can use bind cut later too :3 She also tanked the great lynx when I’m p sure Ignis couldn’t at first?

I’m playing eo3 ds… but there’s a lot more this team could do in HD methinks. But I don’t wanna use anymore of my saves on there atm…

It kinda reminds me of my first eo3 party when I was little. Sword gladiator, sov, zodiac is probably what’s doing it for me.

First time w/o a monk and Hana in a main party 😭 I miss her. Will probably add her to the back up characters tho bc I miss her.

”Where’s Caspian?” Omg I did not think you cared that much. She does not join until b7f for. Plot reasons.

“Where’s ryouta?” He does not join until b2f? And he joins randomly. I’m not playing the HD version rn bc I got this just to map on my iPad, so I have a placeholder portrait for him…

Berserker Alope.

Green one is obvi her in the middle of the vow but the orange one is actually her months after spamming it. She’s hot, but also notice how she’s thinner and covers her arms. Her eye bags. The vow is evil bc the more you use it, the more it saps from your future to make you stronger in the present. The vow is her struggle.

Frieren used to get her head patted by Flamme. It happens a few times in the anime so far and she doesn't rebuke her typical "don't pat my head" like she does when Heiter and others try too.

On the topic of Heiter, he often patted Frieren. At least like once in every serious conversation they had. So he expressed his affection that way a lot.

So Frieren patting Fern's head is not only just a cute thing, but it's a cute thing her master user to do to her AND something Heiter has likely done for Fern too.

I guess it is fitting since I am wrapping up eo4!After Tharsis Ragnarok kills the heavenbringer, they part ways. Lance goes to Aslarga purposely to distance himself. There he meets:

Tez: A young, undoubtedly skilled, landsknecht who passed the trials with ease. But she has extreme anxiety that manifests in selective mutism. He makes a deal with her, her sword for his words. She's brave in other aspects. Just not people ones. She is the second protagonist.

Rozelia/ Rozalia: A gunner who is part of an imperial research team. After EO4 the imperials seek to rebuild their archives and it's her duty to gather info from around the world. Pain in the ass, girl scout type character. She's not in the guild. Lance just runs into her so often they consider her an ally. They dont really know her name so they switch between either or.

Snowwie: Lance ran from his guild. So its really funny when he runs into one of them. The most devious one??? Snowwie still retains her fame from landing the last hit on the heavenbringer, but she's older and wiser. She tries to figure out why Lance left them.

And a fewwww other surprises

Lance and Tez learn about each other and they both change bc of each other. It's very sweet. Thinking about drawing them 🥺
