Listen. On one hand, I agree that, as a general rule, if you want a certain split evolution, you should either adopt a pokemon that has already fully evolved or do extensive research to ensure that you can guide the pokemon towards the right evolutionary branch. In Wurmple's case, you honestly don't even have to wait until the final stage. Cascoon and Silcoon are everywhere in the Petalburg Woods, just pick the one whose final evolution you want and you're good.

However. Beautifly and Dustox are two very different pokemon with very different care requirements. They're active at entirely different times of the day, have entirely different diets, and most importantly, Dustox poisons on contact with its wing scales. If an inexperienced trainer was expecting to evolve a Beautifly and instead evolved a Dustox, it could be a dangerous situation for both the trainer and the pokemon. And let me tell you: most trainers who are catching and evolving Wurmple are inexperienced children. The amount of kids who try to hug their Dustox and get poisoned is too high and includes my past self.

Don't shame people into caring for a pokemon that they weren't properly prepared for. That rarely ever ends well.

You raise an extremely effective pollinator as one of your own and you accept that not every Pokémon has to be the pinnacle of aesthetics for you to find companionship in them, that’s what. Coward.

I'm not going to share the entirety of my findings with the grunt publically just yet since some of it is being used for... Let's call it an active investigation. However, there is one thing that I learned that I think needs to be widespread knowledge:

There is another XD Shadow pokemon in development. I don't know which pokemon they're targeting for this project, I don't know how far along it is, I just know that it exists. I'm under assumption that this pokemon will be another Shadow legendary, similar to what happened to Lugia.

We need to prepare for a potential fight against a god.

Lotsa people are posting about their pokemon biting them today. As an expert receiver of bites, I want to make sure y'all know not to yank your hand out of a bite. Instead try to "feed" it - push your hand/arm/whatever into the mons mouth while bracing their head if you can. That way you don't encourage further play or rip the skin off your hands. It will also loosen their grip on you so you can more safely remove your arm/hand/whatever.

Just a quick tip. Never ever yank your hand away from a bite 🖤

Thank you. There are exceptions to every rule when you're dealing with a living creature, but you should never assume that your case is the exception. My Morgrem, Snicker, can be a very sweet pokemon when he wants to be. However, his default behavior is incredibly antagonistic, often to the point of putting others in harm's way. This doesn't make him a bad pokemon—this is just Morgrem behavior. They feed off of negative energy, and they like having a constant source of it as a means of food security. The false surrender behavior is a defense mechanism, as villainized as it is. Would it be a dick move for a human to pretend to surrender and then stab you in the eye? Yes. Snicker is not human. He is a pokemon behaving as his species does.

As much as I make fun of him for nearly stabbing my eye out, I don't hold it against him. All the same, I wouldn't recommend anyone raise any member of the Grimmsnarl line unless they're able and willing to handle the antagonistic behavior hardcoded into the species for the sake of their survival. They will annoy you. They will steal from you. They will attack you. If they don't, there is probably something severely wrong and they need to be examined by a professional.

You are not the exception to the rule. To think you are is an act of hubris that only serves to put you, your pokemon, and anyone around you in danger.

My hottest take is that YES!!! Sometimes the stereotypes about a Pokémon being aggressive, unfriendly and potentially dangerous are true!

The goal isn't to turn every damn Pokémon in a lap skitty, it's to build a respectful relationship. Some Pokémon have hard wired defenses and behaviors you can't "love" away.

Getting a Pokémon with known behavioral issues thinking that somehow YOU'RE going be different, that people are just being mean and unfair, is the reason why the fear mongering is so bad in the first place. These Pokémon end up abused and abandoned, word spreading about how terrible they were.

They weren't being terrible, you were just stomping all over their boundaries and sensitivities, you're the one who didn't do proper care and research into their needs and tried treating them like a common household pet.

It's not about your satisfaction about how "good" of a trainer/owner you are for having a "misunderstood" Pokémon, it's about the health and safety of that Pokémon.

what do you see with seth/bray? (honest q not hating)

this is a good question because i, myself, do not know what i see in seth/bray … i just think it could be an interesting pairing if someone tried to pull it off. there are a couple ways i can see it going - bray preys on seth’s insecurities, seth abandons the shield for the wyatts instead of the authority. bray and seth both use each other because neither of them can have dean for w/e reason. seth wants to bring the wyatt family into the authority because they’re powerful and he thinks he can control them because he’s the MAN and he knows one thing bray would want … idk shit like that. nothing happy here, but it doesn’t need to be.

well i hate clothing usually so if i’m alone i’m typically at least topless? also i like seeing how far i can stretch in weird positions. i don’t know, probably nothing most people don’t do - pretend you’re freddie mercury and lipsync into a hairbrush, pull ridiculous faces in the mirror etc.
